Excellent video. I think I came into the market at the perfect time since the reverse blade version just released and your video was a helpful resource, thank you
Hi toulachansavath4920, thanks for the feedback! Yes, I just bought and received one of the reverse LX fans today, which is a step in the right direction for Corsair, i'm happy to see that. Thanks for watching and your support!!!
They now offer reverse blade LX fans. I went from their QX, to their RX and now I plan on going with their LX fans mixed with non RGB RX LCP Max. In a Y70 three LX120-R side intakes, three LX120 top RAD exhaust, one LX140 rear exhaust and two RX140 LCP Max bottom intake.
Thank you this was so helpful. After seeing the specs, I am actually going to put my qx fans from the aio as intake next to motherboard tray and my kit of higher pressure lx fans on the radiator.
can someone please let me know how do u get those colors at 13:06 for LX120 Fan how do u combine them, if someone can give me the exact colors, i see its like light blue/white and pink i think
Hi smamas114, great question! Yes, you can mix QX and LX fans on the same icue link chain on the same hub, you can connect them directly together if you like. They all use the same connections and cables and all are interchangeable. iCUE link makes it all very easy to setup in that respect. Thanks for watching!!!
@ That's cool ,one hub for all 👌, now i have 3 hubs , commander pro ,QL fan hub and icue link hub for my 150iQX AIO and if i am going to find QX or LX on sale i am going to to replace all my old QL 👈
from their lineup the one fan that best suits radiator use the most is the RX fan. so then you basically have to choose between QX and LX for case fan use. you can look at it like this: if for the rest of the fans you favor style over performance go for the QX fans but if you favor performance over style go with the LX fans the performance difference between the QX and the LX is pretty negligible tbh, yes the LX fans outperform the QX fans and are a little quieter, but just by a tiny margin. so its likely more of a question of budget and style in that regard. corsair were supposed to introduce their AF120 style fans with icue link sometime recently, or should be releasing them sometime soon, i can't find much information about it though. however do keep in mind that for case use, the QX fans have a really neat feature which is their temperature sensor, which is of course why they are so much pricier. so if you put QX fans in your case intake and in your case exhaust, and use the additional temperature probe that comes with the H150i/H170i AIO's, you can technically set up a very smart case fan profile, which can identify the temperature of air coming from the case intake and the case exhaust and the case internal temperature - and make it automatically adjust intake/exhaust fan RPM to sustain the same static temperature inside your case based intake air temp, case interior temp and case exhaust temp.
The LX120 is the best suited to use with high density radiators. Its static pressure being so high makes it able to go through any fan you can throw at it, like a 60mm thick radiator. I'm looking to use these in my new build if I finally decide to make a custom loop with thicc radiators.
got mine all hooked up, powered on and immediately heard a click come from either the power supply, mobo or the fan controller. Now, my system is dead and I'm on a backup pc.

With the recent addition of Corsair's reverse LX fans, I think the QX series is no longer the top-of-the-line option, and their price should go down. I’m looking to sell my QX120s and buy these new ones instead. The LEDs on the LX120s look insanely better-you can’t even tell individual LEDs apart, which is a massive improvement
Hi phen96, I have to agree with all of those points. Having the reverse version of the LX makes it a very attractive option. Thanks for taking time to post a great comment and thanks for watching!!!
They didn't heard about reverse blade , like lian li 😏😏.....i think lian li are better looking now ....i have ql fans ram mouse keyboard from corsair and its too expensive to change all that just to replace fans ....
Hi smamas114, I agree, I wouldn't remove QL fans to move to these fans. And, currently i'm not aware of any corsair fans having a reverse blade option, but it would be welcomed. Quite a few other fans do offer a reversed version, or fans like SWAFAN EX 120 come with both sets of blades so you can decide what you want. Keep on rockin those QL fans, they look good. Have fun and thanks for watching!!!
Corsair has lost their minds with these prices. I tried a full qx fan setup for my system. They were loud and the hot spots for the LEDs was awful. Corsair has some work to do here. 50 dollars for a fan that doesn't look great, doesn't cool great and is super loud?? I'll pass

can you use the LX120 for a radiator use since they fall in between RX and QX?
you can basically use any fan for the radiator
Like said above you can use any, it all depends what you want when it comes to performance and noise .
from their lineup the one fan that best suits radiator use the most is the RX fan.
so then you basically have to choose between QX and LX for case fan use.
you can look at it like this: if for the rest of the fans you favor style over performance go for the QX fans

I ended up having plenty of cables, but it would’ve been smarter to plug them in before screwing the fans in
