Brrrr …. You can keep your -15c we’ll stick with our 30c today thank you 😊 😉 …. Glad you enjoyed the practice - hope that subtle energy keeps you warm !
Interesting practice, I have never done camel in yin before, but it worked fine. The supported bridge is powerful when using blocks, gives the sacrum, or maybe even on the edge to the lumbar, a good deep massage.
Yes camel can be a bit yang-y 😊 but if approached in the right way with the right mindset it can work very nicely - glad you found that …. I hope you get to enjoy an bit of a break at this time of year …. all the best to you Anna
Another round with this one. And you always discover new things. I appreciate very much Vanessa that you let us do the breathing and counting ourselves (even though your pace was very suitable for me). I have listened to several teachers who count too fast for me and it has been pretty annoying when they continue counting the whole time. I noticed that my outher neck muscles didn't like to be in camel for a longer time, not the back as I suppose is more common. So I may need to find a way to strengthen here...
Hej ! Always good to do another round and compare 😊 it can be much more comfortable and effective to follow your own rhythm for the breath to really internalise …. On camel this can be felt in the neck as we tend to let our head roll back - sometimes if we bring our head forward although counter intuitive it can produce a different sensation - as always a little bit of discomfort might be ok in yoga as we explore our edges but in the neck in particular there is a lot going on with nerves / muscles etc and we should always take care not to overdo things - explore different head positions up/ down / each side and see what the effect is -always coming out if required - camel is an intense posture - best treated with respect 😊😉😆
@@annasternfeldt6031 I find sitting upright and allowing the head to gently fall forward / back / side to side is beneficial over a period of time …. in a Yin way allow the weight of the head to rest at your edge - hold maybe for 1 min in each position to start 😊🙏 any twinges ease off or come out
What a treat! Just discovered this channel and I'm so grateful. I'm so relaxed. Namaste 🙏

I really love these quiet, gentle practices. And looking forward to waking up refreshed once again. 🙏💜
I hope by now you have awakened refreshed once more 😊🙏
Yes. 7:30 here in Arizona and woke up refreshed at 6:30. After spending an hour in hot springs yesterday also. 💜🙏
❤ Thank you for the great practice.
