Congrats on seeing the beaver you have been talking about one for awhile now thanks for sharing 👍 be safe
Wow...20 people at a shelter area! Good job! So glad we were able to see ya at Shaw’s.
Most crowded shelter of the trail I think! Hope you are staying well Kamper 😊
Yet another milestone on your incredible journey ....... 100 miles to go. Talk about delayed gratification. A bum ankle and a bruised backside, but you would never know it from all those wonderful smiles. Iceman seems to be a true angel in the flesh. As stated before...... you two people are truly blessed! Thanks for sharing your travels with the rest of us.
Beautiful video and views stay safe
100 mile wilderness! Wooohooo!!! You guys rock!!! Stay on the path! Monk
Thanks Monk, it definitely was a wild ride there
I have to admit I have mixed emotions about your less than 100 miles remaining on your trek, happy for you both because I know you are ready to be home, but sad because I will miss your posts. Beautiful scenery today, sorry your ankle is giving you a hard time Nicky, can’t believe you fell too! Stay safe and enjoy these days through the wilderness. Iceman has gone above and beyond, God Bess him for his kindness to hikers! Hike on...🏃🏼♀️🏃♂️
The last few days of our hike went by much faster than we would have thought and it truly is bitter sweet. So much we miss but so much we are thankful to never do again! 😂 although the “real world” reminds us how peaceful the trail was most of the time!
Congrats on being under 100 miles from completing your adventure. We (I) will miss your vlogs. As for the AT pancake it looked nice, not very filling though. LOL
Enjoyed watching your journey. Thanks for sharing.
Iceman helped others who I followed. He is so nice to do that and help hikers. I'm hoping he is around next year when I get there. Wow, such a huge crew of people at that shelter but you prevailed through it all. It's kind of funny...REI gets a lot of free publicity from you when you are in your tent! Also, sorry to hear that you fell. Grainger fell near the end of her hike too and bruised her tailbone. NOT fun. John from MI
I'm sure he will be!
Ryan you have found a keeper. Good luck have fun and stay safe.
😁😁
So proud of y'all for your journey... Thanks for taking us along... Being so close now.to the finish line. Glad see your dream come true... Glad to see you hike your hike.
Thanks Donald!
Nicky, that’s so cool that you are hiking a trail that your parents did 35 years ago.
Good video, with some good views, good job less than 100 miles, so let's keep on hiking 💪 👍
The home stretch!!! I hope the weather cooperates. Nicky take care of that ankle. . Never say never because that hiking bug will get you.
Awesome beautiful fantastic vlogging, hiking and scenery, all the very best.
Good luck to you both. Can't wait to see you in tomorrow's video.
Been fun watching ya on your journey,
Hope the ankle and tailbone feels better. Short Timers! Almost there. Really enjoying your videos.
Be careful
Really enjoying your journey. Thanks for finishing these up ... even though you have probably been off trail for some time. Ryan, did you get the job???
Sure did! Sitting at work as we speak 😭
Iceman is the best. And Nicky you might want to reconsidering needing your ankle post hike. Too bad Ryan didn't get Nicky's swim on tape🤣but glad your phone stayed dry.
The one and only water crossing he didn’t tape
Yeah, you have less the 100 miles to go. Pretty day, pretty views, Iceman’s awesome assistance. Way to go guys❣️👍🙂
Oh yeah, getting these vids out fast and furiously now!! Is that tailbone bruise still hurting now? Glad it wasn't more serious.
Tailbone is fully healed up now!
😂😂 lets see how long it takes for the final ones!
If I recall DB, CC and Kamper never did catch you guys in the 100 mile wilderness correct?
At the time we weren’t sure but no, they did not catch us 😢
So when you slack pack, you still seem to have a light pack on your backs...Do you have them with you or get those from the hostel/IceMan?
They are iceman's packs!
A lot of hostels have small packs to carry if you slack pack with them though.
always nice to see beaver on the trail, but not busting your tailbone on day 169,,enjoyed , thanks
