In just a few days, my wife and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary. Marriage isn't easy all the time. There's a lot of compromise and negotiations. You'll have rough times and unforgettable times. Whoa! What a accomplishment..... Y'all should be so proud of yourselfs. I'm 62 and have thought about it since high school and think about it and waiting for that window of opportunity. It’s January 30th, and I’m watching the crazies who started their NOBO thru hikes in January. I’m still subscribed to y’all. Miss you guys.
There aren’t usually many good feeds that make it all the way to Maine. And this year, there even fewer because of Covid. I looked forward to seeing your feed when I caught up on the weekend.
You had me choked up and crying with that proposal. I had to get my wife, and replay it for her.
Keep taking long hikes together until as often as you can. When, not if, life brings you down, remember how close and happy you were on trail together...and then take a hike together. The trail provides. Here’s to you.

I am a 60 year old mam who is factory hardened after 40 years of labor. tough inside and out, but this last one brought tears to my eyes. Congratulation's to both of you on your engagement and finishing your adventure of completing the AT! That summit climb looked scary to me! I just wanted to say thank you so much for documenting your journey on the AT. I know this was a labor of love to get all the footage edited and out. Super congrats on finishing and on the perfect finish! My husband and I watched all 175 days, I wanted to find a channel where a couple successfully finished the trail and we found you guys! We're going to take a shot at the FootHills Trail here soon, maybe someday we'll take a job sabbatical and give the AT a try. Thank you again!

Best finish possible. I have enjoyed seeing both of your smiling faces, through some challenging obstacles. Your attitude throughout this journey shows your character...you two can do anything. Congratulations guys from Erwin, TN. I am so happy for both of you. Many people said that there was no way with the restrictions in place this year that anyone could complete a through hike. Completing a thruhike is always a rare accomplishment but to do it in 2020 took it to a different level. I am so proud of you and grateful to have met you as you passed through town.
