Those engine designers, can’t figure out how to make it exactly 4.0 quarts. Come on guys! It is a great engine and vehicle. It looks like after the engine has been designed the oil capacity becomes a default issue. Any input from our community of wise and super intelligent mechanical engineers?
We put a lot of emphasis on replacing the sump bolt washer, but it needed to be unscrewed probably 1/2 inch before a drop of oil flowed. A good clear video though thanks.

How much oil does a 1.8 lit with filter take, very hard to read that orange plastic dip stick?
Guido DeMaio, the 1.8 liter takes 3.9 quarts, with filter.

@@jacobkatari9126 the car is designed in Japan, all metric! 3.7litres of oil, the designers would not even have thought about USA quarts 🤣

I would recommend every 5,000 miles or 6 months.
