I noticed the battery stuff with a Cryo Lasers build (got a Cosmic melee with Tachyon Surge so I wanted to pair it with something), and thought this would work with Sonic too, so I've not been using it very long but it's been fun so far. Definitely gonna have this as one of the Loadouts when we get them!
I've been running armory boon and targeted empowerment on my iron man for awhile. Along with a reactive jarvis barrier and a heroic piece that gives me 10 points intrinsic on takedowns. The idea was to never run out of intrinsic so I could always stay on the attack. After watching this though the dream would be to find a targeted buff piece with sonic lasers that also has an intrinsic burst when defeating enemies. Just when I thought I was done grinding
I love the builds from this channel, I'm pretty sure they're better than most other channels. - But man, I'd rather see it in the Custom Harm Room on Brutal with maximum Klaw Enemies (the ones you'd be fighting in the raid anyhow). And Idk what it is but I have 2k+ Defense and my Iron Man gets 1-2 shot in the raid. So to see Defense at 1300 I can't imagine how I wouldn't get 1 shot by everything.
For those who are wondering. Yes, the potentiators do work on the innate plasma damage of the lasers. Here are the results I found by swapping two pieces with the same amount of precision: 20% Potentiator: 7842 Damage No potentiator: 6606 Damage
Thanks for the build I love laser but never understood how laser work with melee or ranged, i think it scale with might butwhy you go all in with range instead?
Good looking out, didn't know about that innate laser plasma application, I already had a laser takedown build that was fun, gonna defo grind for a sonic piece now. ✌🏾
Using the perk that gives you intrinsic on unibeam kills with a higher valor roll on pieces makes a build like this shine even more because you have infinitely more uptime on intrinsic overcharge. Optionally you can rock extra charges on unibeam but not as good for bosses.
This build is nice, up until you come up against an adaptoid. The lasers don't stun them or anything. But this build wrecks the smaller adds! It's fun to use.
I like to walk up to the Adaptoid and let them attack me with a move that can be parried. The *Heavy Combo Finisher* that you do with the lasers after a parry is very useful and packs a punch
Love this build but mine is about a piece away from being totally finished high damage glass cannon because I haven’t got resolve on the last piece yet but I’m not finding it a problem as yet lol ! Really love builds that are nearly or as strong as meta an I have another variation coming after , could you please let me know if rockets can be built the same way 👊🏾
Yeah rockets are great. Same build just change the mastery tree to rockets. Make sure you have a reliable damage buff and intrinsic burst proc and you’ll be 💯
I want sonic pieces but I'm not sure it's worth giving up some really good rolls I've managed to get. Probably when the new OLT comes out with its exotics pieces, that's where I'll be able to replace
I have 2 questions idk if you really need Jarvis barrier I made sure all my heroes have it but the question is do you really need the Jarvis barrier ? Like is it even a must have And my second question is do you really need exotic pieces ? I see in your vid how you don’t really have them equipped and the build is pretty damn good 👍 Great Vid Btw🔥
Also, as panther his items r kinda bugged. 200% increase Willpower regenerate while overcharged. Umm im always over charged and never se the results of my health going up??? Should i switch to better one 🤣🤣....Meow
Nah this is way better. You can have it both ways now. Sure you stack precision but you can use lasers in melee. With it the other way you could have melee but really lackluster ranged. I love being able to fly around with lasers that dont tickle anymore. The only thing you will miss is his punches are weaker, but who cares about that lol.

yeah cryo seems great too, i thought sonic would be sweet for the intrinsic and heroic refill but either could be great

So, is Raid not a continuous thing? In my Objectives it says I only have a little over 4 days & I'm so new I only have Iron Man at 150.

Does this work well with repulsors too? Will those get a damage buff?
You can get sonic repulsors but you won’t get the battery effect like the lasers

Wondering if sonic still drops on any of his ranged attacks? Been farming wakanda missions but haven’t gotten a single one. Missile Repulsor or Laser.

Yes. It’s just how it works. It also doesn’t get any element from his melee slot. It does whatever your laser element is

Jarvis barrier isn't so much for damage, but while you have it up your attacks cannot get interrupted. Thats the valuable thing about it

Yeah. If you aren’t recovering willpower anyway. The 200% does nothing
