Wow! Thanks for your nice video.I am from the Philippines and I didn't know that I can eat the avocado seeds. We just throw away the seed everytime. When I was a kid I have learned that my mom used to mark our white shirt with our name by wrapping the avocado seed and locate where you want to mark by poking with a needle my name on it.I think the juice from the seed serve like ink and will stay there for a long time even if you wash it .Thanks again for sharing and am sure save the avocado seeds from now on .God Bless!

Hey - great video - I am dehydrating avocado seeds for the first time right at this moment. One minor correction: you don't want to dehydrate anything over 113 degrees F or we kill their live enzymes. Also, thank you for showing in the beginning that you do remove the paper-thin layer of the seed - I was not sure what to do with it :)

I started adding a teaspoon on my smoothies. Even my youngest daughter got excited with this experiment and she asked me to add some of it in her smoothie too. Great stuff and almost zero cost.

@@AFRICANKETODIET Perfect .. !!!! I also improvised a bit and along with the avocado seeds in the dehydrator I also added some orange peel to dry along .. and boy it gives such a great taste when grinding all together. Other citrus peels I will experiment with: lemons, limes, tangerines. grapefruit. So potent and so aromatic and we also boost the vitamin C content as well. And all this at almost zero cost.

You may not need to dehydrate. Grate the seed and sun dry. After drying blend in the dry dry grinder.
You can make tea from by boiling in wster but take care it does not foam over. Then sieve and sweetner or drink neat.

I have 2 questions that may be dumb. What benefits do the seeds have when grinded? Are they the same as the avocado? Thank you

Also - I believe we should mix this to smoothies, creams, etc .. not have it by itself as it is supposedly very bitter ( which means it's good for detoxing the liver - anything bitter is good for the liver ) but I have read from many people that avocado seeds are simply an ANTIOXIDANT POWERHOUSE .. Can't wait to start experiment tomorrow. Also - are you storing the powder in the refrigerator or it doesn't need to ?
