Microsoft throttles your speeds no matter how fast your internet is. Epic games store does it too. Doesnt matter if you have a HDD or SSD both Microsoft and Epic throttle your speeds as it downloads and installs simultaneously. Both need to switch to Download all files first THEN install or uncap their limits on their servers.

@@astroavationneed ethernet cables put in to connect the router to ur console
two options:
1) plug one end of an ethernet cord into your xbox and the other end into your router
2) plug one end of an ethernet cord into your xbox and the other end into a wifi extender
(I am currently using the second method and my download speeds fluctuate between 800-900 mbps)

There's a ton of other settings you could change on your router that could greatly improve not only your wifi but your internet speeds overall! Since you are on wifi i would recommend looking into and enabling OFDMA, MU-MIMO, AIR TIME fairness 20/40MHz Coexistence, Explicit BEAMFORMING... I would also enable IPV6 and when looking for a DNS I would also look for their IPV6 DNS as well and enter that as well... another thing that gives you a OPEN NAT is Port Forwarding look online for the ports needed to obtain a OPEN NAT on xbox and enter each number also look for any games that might require any other ports to be open different games require different ports to be open last but not least turn off QOS if you have speed above 250 also turn off traffic meter on the router as well to reduce cpu usage on the router! If you are going to port forward remember to set up a static IP for your console or else the console over time will be assigned a different IP and you will have to enter all the ports all over again! Also don't forget to update your router's firmware from time to time they usually update them!

I recently recently tried a PS5, which I did not like, I love my Xbox's, I have a X and a S, anyway, the one thing I did like about the PlayStation was when I switched it to 5 GHz Internet, it actually got the full speed of my Internet, but on the Xbox, doesn't hit 200, I only get the full speed speed of my Internet in the living room on the S that's connected wired. The PlayStation was not connected with ethernet cable, Wi-Fi only, and it got over 300 Mb per second

I have a 150Mbp/s speed for download
On my xbox i have 20mbp/s
I try everything you said nothing's work
I was getting 150-200MBPS on my xbox one then I got the Series X and that changed alot, went down to 30

There’s something inherently wrong with the Xbox operating system in general. I have a XSX and PS5 I can download the same exact game with the same storage requirements and PS5 downloads are just faster. There’s no Hang time, it just starts downloading very quickly right away. I downloaded COD Black ops Cold War on both systems and it took about 16 minutes less on PS5 than Xbox Series X and that’s with the same exact connection. I have 500/500 and Xbox showed it was downloading @ 506mb/s yet it still took way too long.
Wifi of PS5 should be better, or did you use Lan?
@@benjaminfranklinstyl no I’m always connected to LAN, I don’t do WiFi on competitive games…. It’s not just the connection though, Xbox hangs a lot and does all these meticulous processes that make downloading games take longer. Like if I download a game on PS5 it starts to download immediately, with Xbox it takes a little then it gradually speeds up then it’s back n forth with the speeds I just think it doesn’t save and install games as efficiently as PS5. Even when you’re done downloading a game it takes another 4 minutes to “Finish installation”. Probably something to do with the way the SSD formats and compresses data

Go to personalization then to background in the setting then go to dynamic themes and you should see it there

Before u even take these steps do the simple joints restart the Wi-Fi’ probably ain’t done it in a while then make sure your Wi-Fi box is not in the floor or surrounded by a lot of items can and will block signal do all that’s and still didn’t work then dns is the way to go
