    Thank you so much for these stretches. I have this costcocondritid undiagnosed. I have asthma, breathing problems and gerd like symptoms because of this. The only reason why I have this because I have been wearing girdles and tight body shapers when I was younger. My ribs have been squashed. When I lift something heavy this gets inflamed. Now I do your stretches and I am ok. Thank you so much.

    I just got costochondritis after keeping a football ball with my chest, I smoke weed in a bong daily that could be it too, I’m scared because its really painful and I can’t cough or take deep breaths. But This video is really helpful, thanks a lot.

    Thank you brother. Costochondritis I find is a pretty poorly understood musculoskeletal condition. I've had it for about 2 years and I didn't start to notice much improvement til I saw a chiropractor

      It is but this chest exercise somehow unlocks it…I’ve been suffering for years and literally three days of doing this and I feel 90% better than anything in years, I can feel muscles unspasming it was that serious. I haven’t worked in 5 years, the pain has been constant and unreal. This simple exercise has helped tremendously…unreal…

    I feel muscle pain in the middle of my chest 24/7 whenever I move around. Went to ER and did ekg, xrays and blood test and found nothing.

      I guess you have some inflammation that cause that pain, you can do this stretching and can help you

    Can someone inform me about something. So when I do upper body exercise like a dip or the elbow lever the middle of my chest gets a sharp pain but after that it’s fine I’m 13 male and it only hurts when I do upper body exercises is this costo or no?

    My left rib hurts just normal hurts.. i don't know it keep coming and gone... To me i don't feel the ribs pain when i breath deep or cough.. just hurt... This start happening after gaining weight.. before i was skinny.. i didn't happen much... I do lift bucket 🪣 of water sometime on my left..

    Please help me I'm so scared. Mine is only directly in the center of my chest. Doesn't radiate. Hurts really bad when I concave my shoulders inward or push my chest out with breaths. Doesn't hurt when I stretch my arms up though

    Hi doc i get tightness while sitting on chair or sitting in improper positions i hate this is this a costochondritis or heart condition.     try low level laser burn the joints and acupuncture, with cupping, wet and dry cupping... so far it's helping with it, and high levels of vitamin d like minimum 10,000 iu daily

      No you’re wrong! Cold laser doesn’t heat the tissue! I repeat it does not heat tissue. And comparing cold laser to acupuncture isn’t even close.

    Doc mine has been for 10 months and my back is killing me when I breath deeply slouched, the pain is awful it feels very deep inside the back upper left going to upper right area and my chest wall pain hurts when I put my shoulders back. Xrays, CBC and EKG can't find issues. 10 months? Is this costochondritis or something more serious???? Been to the chiropractor 30 times and it's not working. I'm only 26 Male

      No not technically until you have pain and swelling in the front where the cartilage and rib meet. But your on your way to developing Costochondritis if you don’t address that spine issue.

      @@areejkhan1178 I have that. I was told that's what it is. Talk to your doctor. Not much to do for it though.

      @@areejkhan1178 Heal? Mine never "healed" per se. It's scar tissue. I got it at 15, after a trampoline accident, and I am 35 now. 20 years.

    Should I not train chest at all if I have this?

      I would focus on stretching of that hasn’t cleared it up then chiro for thoracic /rib mobilization and in bad cases cold laser therapy. Lay off strengthening for now.
