Been living in downtown bellevue for two months now. I love it here. It's absolutely gorgeous with restaurants galore and absolutely safe to walk at night. The downtown park is open till 11pm and is a popular spot for families and joggers. I can go walking at 1am and feel safe. Very little homeless. Might get rowdy on weekends due to people coming from out of city, but it's never terrible. If you love seattle, it's only a 15 minute drive to Capitol hill. Only bad thing is the night life. It's super tame with no notable clubs :(
Glad you love Bellevue, me too :) and you gotta go to Gilbert’s on main and Fern Thai. Thank you for the note for night club (yeah, club here is not really fun and they close early)
Thank you for watching and of course, I missed a few more pros and cons. What are your pros and cons? put them down below I want to hear them. I really love it here, maybe you will too. And any questions put them down below too ya or 425-728-9300 and look out for more videos, I put out every week :)
OC Guy Newcastle or Issaquah is awesome. Easy access to I-90. We have around 3% interest rate too at the moment, if you have good credit maybe below 3% (very low). Think about it, and just reach out to me when you ready 👍
> good areas suburbs not to far from downtown Seattle If you genuinely mean close, including commute time pre-COVID, then anything that's a true suburb isn't close. Something that is 20-30min away without traffic can turn into 60-90min with traffic. If you want suburb-like living (predominately low density SFH), but still "close" to downtown, depending on your price range the following are possibilities (keep in mind even some of these will not have great commutes, you're just avoiding the worst): * Magnolia * Upper Queen Anne * Laurelhurst * North Capitol Hill * Madison Park * West Seattle (though the bridge being down complicates things) * Mercer Island Light rail adds some possibilities as well. Mercer Island/Bellevue goes online in 2023, and south Redmond in 2024. Anything else is too far out (Issaquah is like 2040, lol). Everything I just listed above, other than West Seattle, is on the higher end of real estate prices in the area. The starting price for a house of reasonable size (~2000 sq ft) and condition (not a tear-down) in most of these areas will be near or above $1M
@@EastsideHomesbyAdeJuwono We are coming from Florida and we have never been to Bellvue so I am trying to do everything and I don’t know anything about the area
SkySkySky sorry for super late reply, somehow I didn’t get the notification. Yes, my office is in Bellevue about 10 minutes away from Meydenbauer Park.
Home prices are so expensive in south Bellevue because you people with foriegn accents come here and pay $1 million cash, renovate the house, and sell it for 1.3. Working full time I cannot afford to live in my hometown.

@@kungfulkoder well said, and once you know the back roads it can help a little :) Thank you for watching.
Is there still a large figure 8 auto race track in Monroe?
Hi Kia, yep Evergreen Speedway👍 fun and race is always exciting , gotta come here when there’s formula drift.
I am moving to Bellvue in August do you think Arras or Avalon towers is a good place to live
Nice, that’s exciting🎉 Where are you from?
Yes, both great place. Personally I’ll go with Avalon as everything within 5-10 minutes walking.

Because maybe these foreign with an accent are smarter and richer than you and can live wherever they want! Accept it 🤷🏻♀️😉
@@robertaalves7623 there's no denying it! People with my accent have been doing this for 500 years!
I'm from Mercer Island, born and raised. The place is ruined, you would not have a clue what it used to be like.
Roberta Alves You’re not a good person Roberta. I hope you learn how to speak righteously.
