This is snowflake lane by the Bellevue Square Mall in Downtown. It is a light show accompanied by music and artificial snowflakes falling. Typically there is a parade that goes along with it, but not this year in 2020. To avoid TH-cams automated copyright and because of certain songs playing, some of the audio has been replaced from other parts of the video. It might sound like the same couple songs are playing.
It always bugged me that it gave me copyright claims on the videos I had my parents take of me back when I was one of the drummers. Also, current plans for this year are for the parade to return, auditions are this weekend for the drummers
My fellow walker, it makes me so nostalgic to be able to witness the Christmas scenery of Bellevue in my home state of Washington. Maybe one day I will return and celebrate Christmas there once more!
I honestly been waiting for a new video since. I was just thinking to myself like when is this guy gonna do another awesome video hahah. I hope you’re doing well and hope you have a amazing Christmas this week🎄😊
@@slayerdearly I would wait at least for the lockdowns to end if you want the full experience. Not much to do for someone visiting. Some of the tourist stuff is still open, but alot other things I wanted to visit were closed
@@4KNatureandCityWalks yeah thus it true and this is what I’d do Also I hear that ppl are hard to make friends with and there there assholes mostly us this true because I hope not
I live in Portland and didn’t see one protest or riot the whole time. Despite the media coverage all the riots were isolated to a one block city radius. In a city with thousands of city blocks. So even tho they made it seem like the whole city was burning down. It looked exactly as peaceful and beautiful as the northwest ever has. No ones protesting in the beautiful woods and trails here. No ones protesting in neighborhoods. They walked thru some neighborhoods here and there here but all the ‘riots’ were really drum circles around the courthouse until about midnight and then the cops showed up, an hour of chaos began and then it was all cleared up by 2am and normal and then the next day started all over again. But where I live, is a half hour from the courthouse and I have to cross a major river and drive thru downtown. Which even without the protests I never do unless I have to. I have some friends in Seattle and they said the same thing. Unless you drive to the protests which only take up a block, you’re not going to see it hear it or anything. Business as normal. Grocery stores open restaurants open. Parks open and friendly faces. But yeah now we’re in lockdown and business are closed. They’re taking it pretty serious around here with mask mandates which is fine by me (immune compromised) but don’t be scared or worried about protests please. The north west is a peaceful place. Always will be . Also with the cold weather now, it’s going to be keeping even more people inside if you absolutely needed to visit a courthouse here

I lived in this area for several years. I miss Bellevue and Redmond, but the cost of living and housing is insane.
