These are more of being the best quality-of-life improvements rather than essentials.
I also highly recommend some of these, though.
Something like _Magic Black_ is what I would call an essential plugin, and currently my favourite, especially on the OLED.
It literally lets your screen turn black while on Gaming Mode - helps a lot with the OLED screen burn-in (scare) and battery life (obviously) while downloading.

After the recent steam deck update my decky loader is not visible in the menus, I’ve tried some solutions from youtube but none of them is working. Anyone the facing same issue?
Perhaps try reinstalling decky loader again from Desktop Mode? Let us know if you find a fix!

@@PeteTalksTech I fixed the issue, I was using the beta version of steam os because of family sharing, today I switched to stable version and decky loader comes back :)

I own a STEAM DECK LCD. i notice that the updated Decky Loader is having problem or bugs.
I recently made a Factory Reset. Once i install the Decky Loader, my steam deck shutdown having problem. Once you shutdown, it will make the process of shutting it down but it always stop on a blank lcd with BACK LIGHT STILL ON.
WTF.
I again Factory Reset it and it work OKAY again. But when i install Decky Loader and get some PLUGINs for it, shutdown again always stop in a blank screen with back lights on. Meaning its not fully shutdown. So i erase the plugins but keep the Decky Loader installed. Once i erase those plugini get. It shutdown became smooth. It turn off perfectly. Then i get some apps like CSS LOADER or PROTON DB. Then the problem came back and once i erase those the problem go away.😅.
I really like the Decky Loader, how it make my screen organize and clean. Hope that the developer will fix this issue. I understand that they have problem now on valve update on its OS. But im still optimistic that they can fix this soon as possible.

they fix it already just use the non stable version...i uninstalled decky before because of that issue
@@cloverhover3996 yeah its half fix 😅. It shut down, but will take atleast 50 seconds for it to turnoff.
Does this happens to others to where D. L. disappear? I think my steamdeck updated last night. Once I woke up I don't see my D. L. any way get that fix or just re install?
My DL disappeared too this morning but I restarted a few times and it came back thankfully! 😅😅😅
