Closest LS based engine that could make that amount of power in N/A are LSX454, and it has 7,2L displacement compared to F136's 4,5L displacement. This is some italian engineering shit

I've seen Ryan talk about this build on several channels and I can't shake the feeling that he doesn't know what he is talking about. "Catch cans" and "welded on" is his bread & butter, but there is so much more to this build; why is it so close to the firewall, why are the exhausts at the front, etc Ryan's a great driver, and knows how to hustle, but a mechanic he is not.

Considering they did a one of a kind swap in this FRS, and fabbed everything themselves, the last thing they'd do is buy a prefabbed kit from a known manufacturer.. They'd make their own.

Did they keep the intake manifold because it says "Ferrari" or could they have made another manifold with shorter runners? Seems like they've got room horizontally to lower the intake yet keep the same length of runners while maintaining the plenum size?
Tbh, 42k for the motor doesn't seem all that bad. There are Chevy crate motors that come quite close to that price. I think my buddy spent 36k for the crate motor that went into his FD RX7. It was fully built and supercharged, but still.
I approve of the swap, and it looks cool the way it is, but what would really put the icing on the cake so to speak is if it was completely finished. I want to see it with a hood, and bumpers all that shit. Also, you should have kept it stock bodied, with some wheels. Talk about the #1 sleeper in the world... Can you imagine that thing passing you with the sound?? I would have to follow it and see the motor.. Regardless, I think its an amazing car. The swap was done tastefully, and I really like the way it came out. I am not a fan of Red cars, but seeing as it has a Ferrari engine in it, I will approve of the Fire Engine Red pain job. Thank you for not doing a stupid "stance" on the car, like OTHER people who own this model do. Cant wait to see the FINAL outcome!

My dream is to do this with my 2017 86, but with an LFA V10 instead of a Ferrari V8. It should fit even easier than this, as that engine was designed to be lighter and smaller than most V8s.

Looking on the ol ebay it seems you can get a rebuilt one for $35-25k. Way more than I thought they would be.
