That's a great question! So far, the Level 2 trap has captured the most with the Level 3 close behind and the Level 1 in last. Which one were you thinking would work the best?
Yeah, I wish there was a way to just deter them instead, but we have so many that nest all around. Fortunately, these traps seem to only attract the carpenter bees and not honey bees or other types. I should do some more research about whether deterring can work too though.
What types of non-boring solutions have you made for your problems?

It's sad to potentially harm bees just to protect a fence or deck.
