  • An honest one year review of our kioti dk 5310 after almost 300 hour of hard use. It has r14 tires and it’s a kioti with a cab. We have run a bottom plow, Rototiller, brush hog, box scraper, land grader, root grapple, standard bucket, pallet forks, 3pt seeder and pulled many trailers.

    Thank you for the review. That’s the same model I plan to purchase, without the cab. I have 80 acres with lots of trees. Grapple and tiller will be the first implements. The DK frame seems substantial. Dealer within a 30 minute drive.

    Thank you for letting us know how reliable and good these Kioti's are. Watched your excellent videos and the maintenance ones too, and now am a happy subscriber. You and the other owners helped me decide on a CX3520 with loader, backhoe, pallet attachment, and grapple. I also do my own maintenance, and just did the first greasing at about 8 hours. Will check the torques and other fluids next weekend, and love it so far. Keep up the great work, and congratulations on your wonderful property. Enjoy!

    Love the video. Good editing and I like the fact you went over the lights, I didn't realize how much I didn't like mine until your night demonstration. I have a DK4710hst cab (identical tractor to yours minus the ecu). I have 50 hours on mine and use it mostly for snow removal, I had 1 bolt fall out for the 3 point control lever and the bottom clamp on my bottom radiator hose wasn't tight enough. I have 2 complaints, 1 is the fog; my cab fogs way too much way too often, even with ac on, fresh air etc, I have to open back window a crack to even stand a chance. second thing is a weak factory alternator, with all the factory lights on and rear window defrost I can see my lights dim when I turn my wipers on and the wiper speeds slow down a bit. Heat is a bit weak too and factory options like front fenders don't exist, one of my front knuckles wasn't even drilled and tapped. Overall, I like the tractor but as it is my first, I probably would have been happy with any brand. Thanks for the video!

    Been great tractor for me. Only real issue had left rear axles shaft seal leak. changed inner and outer bearing with new seal put back together and runs great. Where I have had purchased my tractor I will not take back. I do the work as 3 times took to them I had to redo the upper link hoses so had enough room to bend and also run the fitting down till bottomed out and then tightened the lock nut no leak they don't seem to get the mechanical of most things so I don't let them touch it. I have had zero issues since . Wheel seal I replaced and no issue no more leaks. run all summer in the heat of Florida.

    I have had my CK27 hst for 10 years (1074 hrs) mainly for plowing snow. The first 3 or 4 years I used my front mount blower, but quickly found that the front bucket was a better way to go for me. I put a tooth bar on the front and also plow with the back blade. The day it was delivered I moved about 80 tons of gravel with it. the next day did another 25 tons. Break it in slowly? Nope, break it in doing what you expect it to do. Did the first oil and filter change at 80 hours and every 100 hours after that. I run Rotella T4, 15W40 oil. I don't have DEF/DPF/EGR or any of that nonsense to worry about. It was good on fuel until I took the muffler off and put a 3" straight pipe on, now it is GREAT on fuel. Yesterday I fuelled it up right to the shoulder of the fill hole and plowed snow for two and a half hours and used 1/2" of fuel out of my 7 gallon tank. I don't baby it at all, and it seems to want for more use.
    It had a no start problem about 6 years ago that between me and the dealer over the phone narrowed it down to the fuel shutoff solenoid relay. Cheap fix. Would I buy another one? In a heart beat.

    2-1/2 yrs ago I did the do-diligence tractor research and settled on Kioti. At the dealership, some 50 miles away, I gave him a list of work I needed to accomplish on our 80 acre ranch in Wyoming. He came up with what "Tim-the-Tool Man Taylor" would always say ... "More POWER!". AND ..... he was RIGHT! 300 hrs later the RX 7320 has accomplished what was needed and stretch it's use of POWER. I had originally thought the NX55 or 60 would do the trick. They might have been stretched pulling a 3-bottom plow or handling 4'x4'x8' hay bales. My ONE BIG DISLIKE ...... the front loader ..... is just toooooo hard to see getting the skid steer attachments attached. Pain-in-the-gladiolus maxi mus. Yes .... would purchase one again .... but ...... this should last me until I die and I'm 75 now.

    • @workinonitsteve
      @workinonitsteve  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, I agree about hooking up to skid steer attachments. One huge thing to help you when getting into them is to get a paint pen and draw lines on the back side where your coupler shod be so you know where to be side to side. It also helps to watch your bucket level indicator. Hope that helps.

    Good overall vid !!!! I'm looking for my first tractor , to do various tasks , including plowing . My question is , do you run a field plow with yours , i was told this week i should not run/buy a hydrostat for plowing , but old style gears only , as the hydrostat won't take much and will fail if you plow . I have narrowed my search to Kioti , but dealer is long ways away -- TYM dealer is close , do you know anyone running TYM and if they hold up over time . I have definetly got the wrong job , :) --- Awesome Garage !

    I don't get the hours thing with tractors. I keep seeing videos of guys who say they have had their tractor for a year and have 50 or 100 hours. HOW? I had my CK 2610 delivered at the start of October and am at 165 hours now. We are only seven and a half acres with llamas and goats. There has been snow to clear, but I just cannot imagine having this thing and keeping it parked for a whole day. Too useful! Also, your illumination pattern is weird. I see a lot better at night. Don't know if you could get the lights sorted out on a warranty, but those cat's eye spots on the ground are pretty extreme. Good luck as you carry on! Great video!
