Sounds like you've had good luck with your tractor, AND with your dealer. We can't expect any more than that!
Enjoyed the video. Really liked the shallow depth of field for the headshots :-)

My brother has a 40 horse Kioti and a 25. The 40 has 1300 hrs now. Only problem has been the ignition switch, replaced twice under warranty. He uses the tractors to build horse trails and hiking trails in the Mountains. It's a very harsh environment for equipment, so 1300 hrs with only a minor problem is quite amazing.

I purchased a 2021 Kioti NX5510 HST with cab, front end loader with 3rd function for my Rock grapple and snow plow blade. Also have the backhoe with hydrolic top link.
First I want to say I love my tractor as it has been able to handle everything I need to do without and issues.
I completed the 50 hour filter changes as required.
First problem that I had was I noticed the backhoe buck was not tight and it moved at the attachment points when used.
Come to find out they put the wrong bucket on my NX5510.
The one they put on belonged on a Ck tractor not a NX series. They sent a service truck out and made the correction on site at no cost to me. Great Serivce so far.
Next problem was. I got a recall letter Kioti advising me the backhoe dipper boom did not meat Kioti standards and that it had to be replaced. Again they sent out a service truck and took care of the the problem with no charge to me.
Now starts the problems with the service manager at the dealer ship. At 151 hours on the tractor it would not start.
Serivce manager tells me it’s the starter relay or the starter itself and that they would have to come and pick it up.
(Keep in mind the tractor is still under full warranty. I asked what this was going to cost and was advised $100.00 to pick it up and $100.00 to then return it after the repairs.
(I had been advised at the time I purchased this tractor that the cost would only be $40.00 each way. That was only 11 months ago). When I brought that to the Serivce managers attention he said that was then and the price is now what it is. I asked him to just send out a service truck to make the repair at which I was told no we need to make the repair here to put in a warranty claim and we need to run a diagnostic scan to make sure everything is ok.
I asked why can’t you bring the diagnostic scanner with the service truck and was advised that’s not the way we do things here.
So now I’m stuck with a tractor that won’t start and a service department manager that clearly just want to make $200.00 for the dealership.
So I agree to have them pick up the tractor. They send a truck and trailer to my location. The trailer was to small and without a winch to even be able to load the tractor. At that time the driver (who just happened to be the salesman that sold me the tractor). Called the service department and advised he is not able to load the tractor.
I asked the driver to ask if they have this part in stock. It was the safety control module which is located from inside the cab. Behind the right rear wheel. (It is a simple plug and play item). The Serivce manager advised that yes he had that part in his hand after checking. It was agreed over the phone at this time that I could go to the dealership and pick up the part.
I went right up to the dealership and after waiting at the counter for over 20 minutes for the service manager to hand me the part he finally came out and advised me he could not give me the part. He said he tried calling my cell phone to tell me this but I did not answer.
(My cell phone showed no incoming calls from him when I checked. He has stated this same thing serial other time that he tried to call me but there was never anything showing any incoming calls from him. He could have also left a message or emailed me but he did not.)
I asked him what happen that he can’t give me the part. He said it has to be installed at the dealership and that I was not a service tech. At this point smoke might have been seen coming out of ears. I told him I was not leaving without the part because I knew from my research that that was the problem. I even showed him text messages from other Kioti NX5510 owner that had the same problem and when they called the dealership was advised that they were aware of the problem and even mailed the part to them without charge.
He said he will have to check with the owner which he did and and then came back and handed me the part reluctantly as he said if the tractor starts we will come an pick it up so we can make sure everything else is ok. I advised him I would call him as soon as I get home after installing the part. I left the dealership. Went home plugged the part in and the tractor started right up. I called the service manager right back and he said he would get back to me by the next day to make arrangements to pick it up.
(He never called me back after that, and I was glad about that.)
I have put 30 hour on my tractor since installing the safety control module without and further starting issues.
Now a get another letter from Kioti stating there is a recall and mandatory upgrade on my tractor.
They want to install two additional grounding straps and up grade the HST controller software.
In this letter it clearly states the following.
“THIS SERIVCE CAN BE DONE ON SITE AND DOES NOT REQUIRE YOUR TRACTOR TO BE TRANSPORTED TO THE DEALERSHIP “
So I call and speak with the service manager about getting this done. I was advised that they would have to pick up the tractor to complete this upgrade at the dealership. I then read him the letter from Kioti about this service can be done on site and did not require to be transported to the dealership.
He then advised me that’s not the way we do things here and that it has to be done at the dealership. At that point I simple advised him that he and I are simply not on the same page and I would simply like to speak with the owner seeing that he cannot seem to make the right decisions when it comes to treating and taking care of their customers. He said he would advise the owner to give me a call.
My tractor now has 200 hours on it and I am still waiting for that call from the owner.
I now plan on going to the dealership and try and speak with the owner about getting
    the mandatory upgrade done.
I have to now do the 200 hour Serivce so I need to pick up filters and oil’s.
Sorry for being so long winded but this is the first time I’ve spoke out about my dealership experience. I’m hoping they will do the right thing and stop trying to get $200.00 every time my tractor needs service when it is still under warranty and they have several service trucks to handle these issues.
If you have any advise please feel free to send it my way.
    Lou from Rhode Island

Lou, is your Kioti dealer a 5-Paw dealer?? It sure doesn’t sound like it. I’ve heard that a lot of the run of the mill Kioti dealers are garbage, but you never hear of that with the 5-Paw rated Kioti dealers.

I don’t think it’s just an issue either with kioti. I have a Kubota b2601 and had the same issue with the diff lock. One important piece of information to keep that from happening is to not press the diff lock lever while the tires are spinning especially in conditions with slippery ground like icy driveways. The mass sitting still on one wheel while the other is spinning and then engaging the diff lock will slam the engagement of the dogs that lock up the diff and snap it a split second. Make sure your not spinning tires and are not moving before pressing that lever. Once I have the lever pressed down I slowly start moving the tractor till I feel the diff lock engage the get into a foot peddle to get out or pull something through sloppy ground.

Thanks for your honest assessment of your Kioti. I bought a CK4010se HST (cabbed) in early 2019. It's been awesome and has done everything I've asked it to do. I'm at 260 hours and haven't had any major issues. My local dealer (Byron PowerSports in Byron Georgia) has been very good to deal with. I'm within 15 minutes from them and they delivered it for free. Also, they came and picked it up and returned it after the first 50 hours for the initial check. I performed the 200 hour service myself but bought all the filters and fluids from my local dealer. In middle Georgia I've really enjoyed the cab and AC. Yeah, I know there are purists out there who like the open station tractors and that's fine. But with severe allergies along with our 95+ degree heat in the summers, I really enjoy the cab. It allows me to work anytime around the clock. Even at night when our huge skeeters come out to suck blood. Anyways, thanks again for your post on Kioti. I did a lot of research before I bought including sitting in many brands of this size. None of them had the features for the same price as Kioti.

Great, honest review! I have about 220 hours on my Kioti CK2610 and am generally happy. I had one issue early on with the instrument cluster, and they replaced it immediately with no questions asked. Like every tractor, they have their quirks, but I still believe they are the best value for the money in tractors today. Before I bought mine, I had researched, built spreadsheets, did demos, the whole nine yards, and they all led me back to the Kioti. Now, they don't have quite the polish, bells and whistles of JD or Kubota, but pound for pound they're pretty hard to beat. Also, I moved my lights off the ROPS within the first month after breaking one on a tree limb. Luckily, they still have the holes in the fenders, just covered with a decal so I moved them myself.

How much did you save between KIOTI vs comparable kubota? KIOTI seems like you can save a good amount of money, like 10 k or more. That’s gonaa reduce your cost by a savings of 1/3…..that’s substantial savings, now is KIOTI reliable enough? Thank you. Jim

Great video. Talked to the guy that worked on our tractor and he has helped me a lot for free. When we did take it to him because it was used and we wanted to have him look things over, change oil and some other small things he said you can pay me to take off your loader or you can take it off, all he wanted was the tractor so he saved us some money there. If people would think ahead you can save the mechanic some time and effort by doing some small things if you take off the loader unless it need worked on or not have anything on the 3 point hitch. Thank you and have a great day

Two years ago this month I bought a new Kioti DK5310se. I now have 334 hours on it. I have a sawmill 3 man operation and we use this tractor every day in the yard loading and unloading heavy logs and we really punish it. We have had a couple of minor issues but they were caused by own own actions. The dealership jumped on it right away and made the repairs so we were back up and running. I had another Kioti for 12 years prior to this one and it was a great tractor also. When I sold it I got back what I paid for it also. They are great tractors, they last a long time and hold their value. Stigler Mill has been a really good dealer. My Kioti runs circles around the neighbors green, blue and red tractors!!!

Dealers support is definitely nice to have! Our Mahindra has been a pretty good machine. We had a leak in the first 30 hours but I was able to fix that once I had the right tool. Our biggest problem was a bad alternator fortunately that was covered under warranty. We also damaged the RoPs lights while brushhogging. After seeing a few you tubers use magnetic led light bars that might be a way for us to go. We also have an intermittent problem with 4wh drive engagement. This one is being troublesome in the season of mud! But still it’s getting the job done. We are coming up on a few jobs where we need some bigger equipment.

If you bought a whiny bx series you need hearing protection. I had a b7100 and was a little metal beast and so is my 04' B7800 I have now and quiet with no plastic but my Bx1850 just didn't have same build quality and clearance and was anoyingly noisy although likely still great if just used around the yard for light duty work and not taken in the woods and through the mud.

Just recently had my tractor in the shop, the dealer contacted me saying I was coming up on two years and they wanted to bring it in and give a good once over while still under warranty. Haven't had any problems with 250 hours. They not only checked everything, they even washed it, didn't think it was mine when they dropped it off.
Color doesn't matter, the dealer is most important to me. I considered another tractor, they were in a big field and had a little hut for a "shop" and worked out of a truck toolbox. Glad I ran from there.

ADAM, I own a RK 37 (OWTM influenced that purchase) bought it in Butler PA. Eventually I did have various issues, Backhoe spool valve leaking ... auto regen every 3 hours..PTO not engaging. All the problems were corrected,... eventually, just took time to get road tech scheduled and diagnosed as RK tractors (at time) was new to the market. With the problems I had, they extended the warranty on the Backhoe, as the implements are only warranted for a year. Treating the service team well goes a long way also. RK stepped up to the plate and didn't strike out with my issues. Sure you've heard this before, " Respect people (and equipment !) and they'll serve you well." .Good video.

Good review Adam. I have a CK2610HST and I love it. I had a couple issues that were completely and quickly resolved by my dealer. I had 2 rear remotes installed and a couple times I accidentally hit one of the levers for one of the remotes and it caused an O-ring to leak. The dealer fixed it under warranty and I found out that I had to have a hydraulic hose connecting both the connections for that circuit. My dealer picked up and delivered my tractor free of charge. I highly recommend Kioti and would buy again in a heartbeat.

I bought 2 Kioti tractors within a year (2019 & 2020). I use these things commercially and they work hard. I currently have 900 and 700 hours on them. We have only experienced problems with the front axle. Unfortunately we have had multiple problems with the front axle on both tractors - drain plugs working loose, seals tearing/leaking. Currently both tractors are at the dealership having the front axles completely rebuilt (1 had a bearing shred that wiped out the pinion gear, other had a snap ring break and cause havoc inside as the pieces went through the gears) I will say the dealership has been great and Kioti has stood by their warranty and are fixing all the issues but loosing the income from both machines for most of the summer (takes a long time to get parts from Korea) has been a major toll on the wallet that I will consider before buying another. Thank you for your video as my rear differential on my CK3510 will not engage either and my dealership did not know it was a common issue but I will be bringing it to their attention.

I have approximately 180 hours on it so far and have not experienced any mechanical problems. I keep everything lubed well and change out the fluids and air filter swhen required. The closest Kubota dealer is approximately 30 miles away and appears to be a little bit on the high side for everything i.e. LandPride Forks I recently purchased, leveler indicator, oil, etc. I actually purchased my tractor from another Kubota dealership 300 miles away because they were almost $4,000 cheaper. The dealership close to me said they were higher because I was "paying for convenience." That's a lot of convenience. All in all I'm very happy with the tractor.

One winter during a sustained cold snap of two weeks of -20 degree weather the glow plugs did not work and hence it would not start. The dealer came right out and replaced a relay that controls the glow plugs. They also installed a block heater while they were out. That is the only issue I have had. Hey Adam, enjoy the channel. Our Kioti has been a great tractor; with minor setbacks like all new machines have. Leaking hose, CEL light, etc but overall it has been a total force to be reckoned with. We have talked about it on our channel also, but the color of the tractor really doesn't make a whole lot of difference anymore. There is no USA made tractor, there are some paint colors that are confusingly expensive and some that are just not supported well through a dealer network. Kioti makes a great product and if I had to do it all over again I would buy it again (with a cab of course.). 😁👍🏼

As a new subscriber and being somewhat self sufficient myself, I have enjoyed your videos. I would recommend using some sort of jack system or blocks under the rear of your dump trailer when loading/un-loading your tractor. I learned the hard way doing something similar, then the trailer ball hitch failed, causing the trailers hitch to forcibly remove a pickup's closed tailgate, launching it 20 feet in the air, only to have it drop back down on the cab's roof. Very expensive repair. Those hitches are not designed for the upwards force when the rear of the trailer of forced down. Glad to hear your honest review of the Kioti tractors. I have them on the short list for my place. It is the local dealer that I am worried about. One year they are TYM tractors, then Bobcat, then Kioti and now I don't know what they have. Thanks Again. about a year (50 hours) mine snapped the front hydraulic steering cylinder in two where the piston grove is cut into it (c clip holds in there). My dif lock was a bear to engage, welded on a piece of steel to lengthen it to make it far easier. I've had two pistons pull the eye out of the weld, bad weld, and I've had one weld pull the clevis out of the metal (another bad weld) (all three on the backhoe part, but for me they are both Kioti so its about weak welds on the tractor).
I live on steep terrain, and having a tractor with welds pulling out and steering that snapps leaves little confidence. I see you use yours on flat terrain... So when something goes it might not cost you your life. At the very least the dealer should have covered the steering under warranty, given that they didn't I welded up back and its been that way for 3 years now.

We bought it to clean barns (four barns) and seed and harvest thick vines hay. I bought the HST because my wife will be driving it AND because i have two total knee replacements that are aging well…but aging. The new lights are on the fender from the start. We put about 400 hours per year on our four tractors so I guess about 1000 hours per year on this one that is going to take the place of all four. Two years ago the hydraulic couple went. It was too big a job for me and I couldn't move the machine. I called my dealer and was quoted $5500 plus to repair. I really had no options. They sent a tech out the next day and had it apart in an hour. The tech showed me what happened and said this was their fault as the bolts were never lock tighted properly. The guy took pictures and sent them to his boss. The machine was 15 years out of warranty but the made good on it without me asking and repaired it asap and offered me a free loaner. I am a one man operation and money is everything. I may never be in the market again for another machine, but if i am I will go back there. I will always remember how I was treated. Whatever they did they got the bill down to $1200 with a warranteed repair.
