I own the same tractor, its been very good to me and has had no issues. My biggest grip though is all the gease points and the quick attach broke on me (my fault) at then end of the day, if I were to buy another machine, it would be another Kioti, instead of the CK series, I'd lean into the DK on my next go around which will prob be in 25 years lol.
My advice is get the tires filled and 3rd function valve at the dealer before you take delivery

I didn't want my rops warning lights to be broken off like I was sure they would be yet I didn't want to move them to the fender. I went to the local scrap iron yard and purchased the shortest piece of old 5 inch ID oilfield pipe line they'd sell me. Took it to the local welding shop and has them bandsaw two, 2 inch long pieces off. I drilled a hole in one side of each to accommodate the threaded stub on the light housing and mounted the lights inside the pipeline pieces after bolting them to the ROPS using the same holes on the lights base mount. The 5 inch pipe is perfect for the lights with a quarter inch space all around. Super sturdy. They've caught many a limb and have never bent or broken.

Nice overview of the CK4010SE SEI is great to work with! Been very happy with them.
Note on the loader lock - I think it only locks the loader controller from being moved and opening the valve when the loader is suspended. I don't trust it so still put a piece of angle in the loader to keep it up :)

Thank you for this video. You just gave me two precious informations that they wouldn't tell about in the user's manuals that I got with my new Kioti ck4010. First is that small black lever near the floor, on the right side of the seat, you say is a lock to keep the loader bucket safely up while holding some load and preventing it from accidentally go back down if, for instance, we are to get off the tractor for a moment. Second information is the fact that the engine will automatically turn off if we get off without first putting the parking brake. Actually, it happened to me and I was wondering whether it was normal for the engine to have stopped instantly as I would get down from the tractor platform.

Late to the party...good informative vid Chris and Tony. Few things to add...
    1) Tony brought up a good point, 3rd function. Get it factory installed. And get the tires filled too.
    2) go with 3 point quick hitch right away. They do make the arm very flexible nowadays but once you use a quick hitch you won’t go back. Make sure attachments are quick hitch compatible...most are nowadays.
    3) Front underbelly pto I believe would be a good investment
    4) hydraulic top link. Another great addition. Will need rear hyd. Remotes for it...so definitely get.
    5) tires...these look interesting.

    Good morning Chris!! 😀😀
Seems like Tony is very pleased with his tractor so far. It's a really nice LITTLE tractor.
I still think that the next size bigger framed tractor would be better for you.
A full cord of green oak logs weighs approximately 5500 pounds. So if you put a face cord in a IBC tote you are looking at just under 2000 pounds of weight to lift. You really don't want to be maxing out your tractor all the time. If you go with the next size bigger. They handle 2000 pounds with ease.
My Mahindra 2555 will pick up 2 large square bales of hay that weigh about 800 to 900 pounds each with out any hesitation .
Like Tony said that you should get one the next size bigger than what you think you can get by with.
It would be nice if Tony could bring his Kioti over and we could do some side by side lifting comparisons.
    Take care my friend!!😀😀TTYL!!

I've got the 2020 CK3510SE, 88 hours so far. Other than warm-up periods, I always run it 2000 or above, it still regens every 30 hours. I don't believe anyone that says it won't regen if you keep the RPM's up. I love the tractor, it's been a workhorse and hasn't disappointed me yet.

Most times(except when running the PTO) I run mine at 1800 rpm which, I believe, is peak engine torque. When it it regens every 32 -34 hours I simply move the throttle up to the 2200 (540 pto) rpm mark and keep on working. After about 10 minutes it finishes. There's no need to stop working if the regen light glows solid. Only when it flashes should you stop and do a manual regen.

    Chris,
You may want to double check your numbers on green wood. A cord can be 5000-6000 not 2400. This would put an IBC tote plus the weight of the forks right at lifting capacity on the daily. I just ordered a DK for this exact reason instead of a CK.
    As always, great vid.

@@InTheWoodyard That is a good point. If you have several properties to tend and a lot of mileage to ride, a small ck Kioti is easier to tow about in a trailer than a larger, heavier model of tractor.

Nice little tractor! I don't know if there was ever a price mention on this? I got a quote for a new Massey 2760E and it was right around 30k fully loaded and with a grapple. But I think I'm going to keep my current Massey and get a cheaper used skid steer

While having the bar welded for the right side step, it would be nice to fabricate a removable box to shileld those hydraulic valves. Those exposed hoses are going to take a beating on the right side. Better to have a sharp object rubbing against metal than rubber.

A major convenience on my prio Kioti CK was that I could leave the three point hitch on the machine and still connect my backhoe. On my grand L Kubota, the hitch has to come off… need wrenches and time to put the implement on and off…. A bit of a pain

the lock is so the loader lever doesn't get bumped and the loader comes down on someone. I don't think the blue lock locks the loader arms from coming down. if you lose hdry. its anybody's guess I would not want to be under the hood with a load or under the bucket. I've owned one for 3 yrs now.. Even the cruise you need to tell people if you hit the brake pedal it will shut off but mine will but still moves very slow so I have to hit the brake twice and then it doesn't jerk the crap out of you. The next one I get will be a shuttle shift. I like the gear drive. You'll lern as you win it. Make sure you check your bolts you may have a good dealer. Mine will never see them again after 4 times and came back worse than it left.
