When I used to live in Ojai California there was a lady who used to grow huge sunflowers and an array of other florals and she would bundle them up in little arrangements with a $5 each sign. She did this at her residence on a main road where people driving by could easily see and she had a little box next to the flowers that you can drop your money in. The Box wasn't locked you could easily see other people's money that paid and if someone wanted to be a terrible person they could take off with the money or flowers or both and not pay for them but nobody did. I would buy flowers from her occasionally and it was so nice to see the good honesty in people and that this lady had a side hustle that worked for her and put smiles on people's faces. You would also see people had stands put up and would sell oranges or peaches I've even seen free range eggs. It was nice and wholesome. It helped that it was in a good area.
