I have always felt that CPS was a horrible system that tears good homes for children apart and allows children who are being severely abused to stay in terrible homes. Now that you've mentioned what you have I definitely see your point. Wooww. Now that I think back on MANY cases, you are so right! They also judge good care on how much money and material items someone has and not the genuine care of the children. They judge by a quick view of how much food is in a refrigerator, how much is in someone's bank account, how the children's clothes look, etc, rather than how are the children actually being treated & cared for and what is happening to those children behind closed doors. Not all CPS workers are doing their job properly! Sometimes they go in and do things that they don’t need to just to punish the parents and have 0 disregard for the children. It’s so sad.
CPS is mostly for profit. The more children they remove, the more government funding they get. That's why investigative and case workers don't spend longer than 6months on average in the same position. They're constantly getting promoted and moving around. It's usually low income families they target. Or, people who lack an education who don't understand their rights or how to fight back. I had a friend who was a case worker. She only worked there 9 months and quit because of how easily they removed children it felt like she was causing more harm than good. I was also in foster care as a child. My mother reached out for help because of her illness and instead of providing resources they removed me and my siblings and terminated her rights.

My sister went thru a similar situation, different type of abuse, and my niece ended up dead from "unknown causes" at 3 smh. We tried to get family court to believe what her father was doing, but my sister was on drugs and they did nothing smh Her other two kids are still gone we have not seen them in 3 years 💔

Update update 💜 Mahiya age 6 & Amiyah age 4 now have blossomed so beautifully & are smart beyond their years ! I received full custody of my daughters , 3 years ago & in June 2021 our case from the Dhs system was completely closed out ! I fought so hard for my girls and I never gave up hope !!!!! I hope this helps anyone continue to fight for their babies PLEASE NEVER GIVE UP !

I’m not an advocate for fathers not being in their children’s lives, however when the dad refused to test on the fractures, it was a major red flag 🚩 for me. Also, the way he was saying that he didn’t care what you wanted, was cold-hearted. He should’ve did whatever was in the best interest of those babies. Police FBI etc can use it but it's for a tactic used to make you confess...even if you passed they can legally lie to say you failed to solicit a confession so it can "help you". The confession us then used in court. The statistics of its reliability are terrible like only 50-60% accurate! I always thought they were legit until i looked into it myself.

I was in a foster home after the school I was going to made up lies about my mother beating my brothers and I. She never did, my mother was so loving and over protective. She wouldn’t even leave me alone with my step father, who was my brother’s father. She never let us sleep over anyone’s home, but she would allow us to have friends over and she would supervise. Such an amazing mother and honestly, nothing happened to me with my mother because of how well she took care of us. When they put me in this foster home, I suffered so much abuse that left me with ptsd and other mental problems. My foster parents were emotionally and verbally abusive, and their son who was 15, I was 8, sexually molested and abused me. I had a foster sister who they adopted and I finally spoke to her when I was around 25 years old, she told me that when I left he started to abuse her. She was raped for years, he was in his 20s already, she was only 12. It sickens me but sometimes these foster homes are so much worse than what we actually go through. With my mom I felt nothing but love and thankfully after a year I was back with her. But the system already had done the damage.

Don't open the door when CPS shows up. Tell them if they question or call you that you don't need their service and have a good day. I had a false case and I had to do a ton of research to try to figure out how to handle the situation and that's just what I've learned.

Don't open the door when CPS shows up. Tell them if they question or call you that you don't need their service and have a good day. I had a false case and I had to do a ton of research to try to figure out how to handle the situation and that's just what I've learned.
