Man let me tell ya I did plenty of coke (and many other substances) in my 20s and as soon as I found out I was pregnant I stopped everything and completely turned my life around. I don’t know how these disgusting humans do this while they have kids and have the audacity to call themself a Mother!
Hell even if you started doing coke again after you had kids, that would definitely be bad, but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as bad as giving the drugs to your 4 year old and your other infant child. Thank god those children are okay.

Same here. Five months pregnant now and couldn’t be happier to be clean. I’ve had every test I can and baby is completely healthy. I feel very lucky. Congratulations on your sobriety and your baby ❤

I found out that someone I live who seemed completely normal had been taking heroin and using uppers. He is high functioning and has a great career. Always productive and responsible and I was in total shock when I found out. People can look completely healthy and normal and be completely high. It’s really crazy

@@chrislucero5708 sadly…my husband now has HIV because of the needles of using heroin. I also later realized that the car crashed he got into was because he was racing home before the high hit. It does harm those around you no matter what because it harms the users health and the life risking situations that comes with it. HIV sometimes doesn’t show signs for years… then the viral load can go up and you only have a few months to live. We were lucky he showed signs closer to when he started amping up his use enough to get checked and reveal the truth to me. This also effects our risk we would encounter if we want more kids and changes our sex life even with the medication. But worst he now has a low immune system is always getting sick and has joint pain…. He had to stop doing mui Thai a sport he loved because the risk he posed to others. He is battling really depression. A lot has happened in those past two months… I love him very much though and am supporting him in his recovery.
The truth is heroin might work out for a period and you can appear high functioning for as long as your body can stand it. But after awhile your body crumbles and it’s changes you. He told me about everything. He would act like a dif person when trying to get high and would put his self in life threading situations just to get the drug (because it’s hard to find). So when I thought he had a longer worker day or his phone “died” while he was out, he was trying to get drugs from 1-2 hours away and sometimes the people would bail or take hours to come or would try to rob him instead. All the while his family is home waiting for him worrying. It’s not as simple as you think.

She's in such denial and I honestly understand why. Administering MORE drugs to your 6 month old baby than you even give to yourself is absolutely insane. That is monsterous. I would never do something like that but I'd imagine it's hard for her to even look herself in the mirror. The amount of shame she has suppressed is tremendous. I don't think she'll ever get those kids back and I hope she doesn't. She's a terrible mother for that. It's one thing to struggle with an addiction, it's another to do what she did. It's a total waste of humanity. I feel so sad for those children. Theres no telling how the cocaine will affect their brain development.

Didn't this test only come back for marijuana and alcohol? I'm curious why sniffing would be a giveaway of being high on coke if it's not even showing up in her system currently. I'm not defending her by any means, just curious as I don't have much knowledge on most drugs. Also, what on earth would be the reason anyone would want to give their small babies and children that stuff? Wouldn't that just make them hyper as hell and have them jumping off the wall? I'd think if anything a parent might want to calm their child down rather than ramp them up lol. That's sickening she'd expose her babies to ANY kind of drug or even have herself in that kind of environment and put her kids at risk of being taken from her, and worse, harmed or killed. Makes my stomach turn. 😩

Me and my siblings were taken because my mother is a Indian drunk (native American) but my mother is sober, never drank or choosed a man over us like most mothers, never experienced abuse or neglect until we were taken, and we were taken over lies or because CPS did not like her.. and we lived in a town where there are no natives at all.
Shes not ready to get clean or get her babies first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem she can't even do that .This is heartbreaking

My daughter once had addiction to cocaine and it made her turn into a liar as well, but she went cold turkey in the end , I thanked our Lord a thousand times over for helping her to quit, she knew she was very close to loosing her children, she also knew I would off phoned child protective services, that's when she quit I've given her a lot of support and I always will, I hope this young gets the help and support that she desperately needs

this hits home for me. I had meth and marajuana in my system when i was 5. I was also born with meth in my system which caused me to have congenital heart disease. I have 4 heart deformities and have had a heart attack and open heart surgery at 6 weeks old.

Naw even breastfeeding which she wasn’t wouldn’t give a baby that high of levels. The baby was at 3 or 5k she was at a lower level than baby so she had to have been putting it in bottle or physically putting it on paci or something. Pacifier is my bet

I like how Steve is handling the situation and not being too aggressive, I think it’s really hard for addicts to admit they are addicted because they are either ashamed or don’t believe it themselves so I hope she can help herself. I think if she truly wanted her kids she’d try make a change

As a recovering addict, I know coke is a stimulant that causes an accelerated heart rate, and includes an awful “comedown” of depression because of the lack of natural levels of serotonin in your brain (coke releases tons of dopamine & serotonin at once, hence the “high”) I cannot imagine a baby consuming drugs, going through the hellish rifts of a coke high and not knowing wtf is happening to them. Agitation can make an already stimulated heart race and work even harder. It hurts to even think about what those poor babies must have been going through.. makes my heart cry 😞

I was taken away from my mom when I was 8, it's been rough being in the foster care system, but honestly I'm so glad I didn't have to grow up with my horrible mom, some people like this women simply have no business being a parent, Steve was way too light on her, I hope those kids are doing well.

I seen a story recently of a couple who had just bought a new home and the wife was super sick all the sudden she ended up testing positive for meth and later learned the home they bought from the bank was an old meth lab and the bank never informed them of that . so I believe it's possible for someone to be exposed and not be doing the drugs. But in this girls case I do think the results on Steve's show are the truth and im glad her kids were taken to safety away from her

@@TheTaintedTragedy Yes I totally agree with you he gave her so many chances just to come clean with her drug abuse but she was so in denial. A person cannot be helped without admitting that they need help or that they have a problem. Unfortunately she has not hit rock bottom yet hence the denial. Yes hopefully the children are in a better place and safe.
I’m glad they actually took the kids out of a bad situation. Usually they would just turn the other way and ignore it and remove other children out of a loving home

I was watching this episode today. The woman is in denial. Not to give away the video but she might as well come clean if she wants her children back.
Even if she comes clean it’s too late , the police aren’t always wrong ether … she failed for giving the drugs to the children and now this will fit sure make it back to the police where she won’t get the children back at all …. Very sad indeed 🥲
