Hey everyone. Thanks for your patience with the audio balancing! I didn't realize the issue when I was editing this (sorry new to this). Be advised it gets a bit loud near the end.
Ok, I am hearing impaired anyway! I think that the audio should be recorded on a higher level so that on our end, we can turn the volume up or down to better hear. I realize that not everybody has the moola to buy the best equipment but, stop a think of your viewers and how they might or might now hear or see things on our end. Thanks so much!
have to admit the level of detail you put into your builds is nuts, and the editing awesome, think i found another underappreciated crafter that needs more subs
I often find myself coming back to this channel a lot whenever watching builds. I found your channel when it was only a couple months old, and boy was I impressed! The quality of your builds never cease to amaze me. I would say that your channel is probably one of my favorite within the community. It’s a bummer that you haven’t posted in awhile, but nonetheless hope you’re doing well, thanks!
This was a fantastic video to watch (apart from the sudden blaring music in places, but as you are still learning, your forgiven, especially as I really enjoyed watching this whole creation being built). I especially like the way you greeble bits to create door hinges, locks, handles etc.
Hey man, this is a pretty cool design, I actually came here looking more for reference material for a minecraft project of mine. I think this is a pretty slick design and definitely looks like something that might be used in any of the dozens of 3d terrain battle games like Warhammer or Malifaux, man there are so many I couldn't name them all. Anyway, this video is pretty cool and it looks like you did some other stuff related too! You should keep going, I bet you could make entire sets and really inspire others to craft their own private scene collections. I hope you keep up the fantasy build and play.
I recommend getting a little more wash on the brush so you can more so dab it on and it and it will have better shadowing and detail. Still awesome though.
My compliments on your patience with the bricks...I know how long it can take. This is a fantastic build man 👍👍. Liked & subscribed. Going to be binge watching these videos as i am building a Age of sigmar city board.
I think you forgot one major and important item in the build. How does the character enter the tower in the first place? There is no door or entrance at the bottom.
It’s part of a larger build. I forgot to mention but I wanted modularity so I can add freestanding doors or in the context of the larger build just add it to a wall.
Just a heads up, around 1:30 your speed square is a perfect 45° angle, so you don't have to worry about that. Amazing build man, I'm new to D&D, but I completely love all the crafts and things that you can build for it!!
@@ScatterCraft Lol we all have are strengths :) That is my line of work, so I could make the build pretty easily, but would struggle to make the artistic elements pop like you did. I really liked how you made the wood grain with the wire brush, great idea.
I'm new to all this, and would be really grateful if you could provide some info on the foam and card products you used for the inner and outer structures - the inner seemed to be a sort of thick card, and the outer a foam board? Awesome results whatever you used!
Make sure you normalize the audio in your videos, I had to turn it up to hear you clearly, and then when the music came on at the end it blasted my poor ear drums pretty good! Other than that, what an awesome video, very well done, and beautiful craft!
Dude, please level your audio, your voice is so quiet and the songs are deafening. Good build, I will be making one soon myself and putting it up. Also liked and subscribed
@@ScatterCraft re-edit and repost is your only hope unfortunately. Its only style points, and otherwise it is a nice video. Consider it part of your experimental phase. Looking forward to your other videos...
@@ScatterCraft It's worth re-editing and reposting. Consider the amount of lost subs from people who leave this video in disgust and never check out your later ones...
Great question. I think playable interiors are super cool but I like to use a battle mat for most interiors that way they can be different for each encounter instead of one static interior. Also it takes way too long to make both exterior and an interior and I have a short attention span. ;)

it totally does XD

Not going to lie. I loved the look of the wood b4 the blackwashing. Other that. Freaking amazingly beautiful.
Well done, amazing brick count
Epic. This is playable art. Definitely inspirational. I can't wait to make one.
Great video! I learned so many new techniques just from this one video, thank you!
I think you should make some more castle themed things.

That looks amazing!
Very nice piece of art !
where did you go? we all miss your amazing content! hope to see you making videos again soon sir!
Sorry about the delay had some big life situations come up but on my way back
@@ScatterCraft oh that's great news to hear about you coming back and I hope your life issues are all better!
The whole time was was worried you were painting and didn't add a door to get in. Phew. Ready to watch the next episode.

Realy F Nice!!!!!!!!Love it, and i ll use your Tower Style to upgrate my towers!(if it ok with you!!!!) Thank a lot Mr Scatter Craft!!!!!!
Way cool
Great work!
Nice job, my man. Very cool tower. 👍🏻
So precise! Very sharp. I know how long it takes to lay brick etc... Great video!
Thanks for sharing Josh! Definitely looks like a solid build that Ill have to try out once I get a proxxon. Cheers!

Awesome!
Very nice! And yes, I think you have inspired me to give it a go. Hope mine turns out as well.
Awesome build....but that final paintjob tho....It would been perfect with abit more time on the painting.
Yeah I wish I could enjoy the painting more. For me it’s the part of the hobby I personally enjoy the least. That’s why I buy prepainted minis lol
Thanks.

A great looking tower.. excellent work sir :)
Thats a great video! Thanks for uploading it. The result really speaks for itself
your tower to very perfect, thanks for sharing, i love it
Awesome work.
This looks like it took an insane amount of time, but it is so worth it in the end.
you have the rite idea, keep going and thanks for giving dimension
Looks very well done man, great job, thanks for posting it with us
Ok, fine!! ... I'll build my own set! Gosh... xD

That was AWESOME!

Sweet tower. I really like all the "wood" that you use on it, and I agree with you that it improves the look. Keep making these videos. Cheers, --Bo
Great looking tower. Smashing your way to a lot of subs already, well done, definitely well deserved. :)
Oh, btw old chefs tip - if you put a slightly damp thin cloth/paper towel under your cutting mat, it wont slip as your cutting stuff.
Good tip. I was thinking about using some poster tack
Masterfully done. Definitely subscribing to see more! :)
An amazing build, you've given me so many tips. Thank you.
Sick ol build! Subscribed and loving the content so far, keep up the good job!

nice tower - how do you make the wood effects on foams?

Great video. Castles are actually built with "Blocks", not bricks. Big difference.
amazing
Great inspiring job dude, just a question whats that Pink foam you use?
In the US it’s Owen Corning’s Foamular
I'm new to all this, and would be really grateful if you could provide some info on the foam and card products you used for the inner and outer structures - the inner seemed to be a sort of thick card, and the outer a foam board? Awesome results whatever you used!
Foam board for inner and rigid foam insulation for exterior. Thanks
Why doesn’t anyone just use a roller on the foam to texture stone walls?
Cutting and gluing individual bricks is nuts!
It's great. However, how do yo get in the tower to begin with? Rope ladder
Never mind, you went on to explain
Did you build your paint organizer? Because it looks pretty awesome.
I did. It’s just foam core but I might rebuild it someday and I will probably make a video if I do.
@@ScatterCraft please do make a video if you ever redo it. Would love to build something similar!
how do you work in imperial?
don't those cm's on the other side of your ruler really tempting? and way easyer to use?
I’m American. We use both!
How water proof is this? Could it survive consistent 70-100% humidity?
No idea. It’s foam so I don’t imagine it having any issues. Maybe the paint
@@ScatterCraft Thanks. I was thinking of something to seal it. Looks like matte varnish or epoxy might do the trick.
Super neat! Do you have a list of materials you use?
Not yet but in the works! Any specific material questions though let me know
@@ScatterCraft what kind of foam did you use?
Dude amazing! Your outro music is too loud fyi
You forgot the door at the base to get in and out

your work is perfect and so precize, but this video is incredible booooorring ! (I still press "like") it looks like watching grass growing.
Neat, but no michiculations.
Why are you building things for your table that don't have playable interiors?
