"Less monologues, more dialogues." I like it.

It sounds like things began to go south for Brenna when her grandma died and her father left the ministry. That's a huge burden for a ten-year-old.
6:00 - Let's hear it for the Westboro Baptist staff of Topeka, Kansas!
9:30 - I remember when my sister "came out of the closet." I wrestled with it until I came to the conclusion that homosexuals are sinners in need of a Savior . . . just like me.
19:34 - "The prosperity gospel will want to tell you that God's best for you is always rescue, always relief. That is a very limited God. If that God cannot be enough for you in your suffering, that is a limited God, but that is not the God that we serve. We serve a God who is with us. He is enough for us, even in our suffering." -- Brenna Blain
In my 50-plus years on this planet, I've come to believe that God allows us to suffer because when we reach out to Him and He pulls us out of the fire we can say to others "Hey, I've been there, and this is what God did for me."
