I tried to reset it and it did not fix the issue . I purchased the control board and face plate from an old unit and wallah! ... I'm a pro thanks to you guys ... FANTASTIC!!!!

The code showed to be the one where machine wasn't draining. My "friend" (idiot) thought he had to "pay attention to EVERY thing E:LSE....May be a good thing, there was a fried mouse across the front control panel between one of the wires and the pc board part. Now, since a couple of those little electronic parts are slightly discolored, he won't move forward and put the machine back together to see if the NEW drain pump works.... Here I am, an old lady with a washer that's taken apart, tons of laundry piling up and just me and these videos to try to get things back together to SEE where I am...Any advice or suggestions or comments?
My lg dryer dial works, but, the selection jumps around. One must turn and stop turn and stop the dial until the selection is on what you want to use. Everything else works do I need to change panel and is it done the same as washer??

Yes. Of course. When there is no display corresponding to the Movement of the knob, you can take it for granted that Display Board and Functions controlling Board are obsolete.
My new (used) Kenmore front loader washer # 796 4027 2900 powers up and the selector knob works and the chimes work... but nothing happens when I hit the Start button. The door does not lock. (I have already replaced to door lock assembly.) Do you think this Control Board is the problem ? Thanks in advance !
