I have had this grill for several weeks now and absolutely love it. Probably use it 5 or 6 times a week. The only thing I wish it had would be adjustable feet to tilt it towards the back for grease runoff.

put a small shim under the front legs,.....then the grease runs to the trap.

Just got mine and I put 2 quarters under the front feet and it's worked great for drainage!!!

I've never done anything but wipe mine down. Using the blackstone non stick set to scrape the surface and then wiping it dry with paper towels is all it needs. I have used this type of cookware for years.

I got mine yesterday and made breakfast this morning and it was delicious, sausage, eggs and pancakes and the grill coating was slippery, nothing sticked. Also bought the E-series tongs and double spatulas and Blackstone Tequila Lime season and Blackstone All Purpose seasoning. Cant wait to make fajitas and steaks on the griddle.

You will love it. I think the 22 inch comes with a table stand as well.

I have this same Blackstone. The surface seems to stick more when cooking, especially meats, as it did when I first got it. I have the propane one outside which I prefer.

Save yourself some time. The griddle is removable and non-stick. Let it cool down, and then remove it and wash it in the sink.

Another note, the outdoor Blackstone does better if you’re making smash burgers. The indoor grill doesn’t get that char on there.

Great griddle but real hard to get right now. I think Blackstone will see the demand for this is high and get more out there soon.

I think you are right. I just happened to get lucky with one left and stock so I jumped on it.

Spraying the top with water while it's hot will warp it no?

Have you noticed any cold zones on the grill? We’ve had several electric griddles over the years. Most of them have cold zones where the heating element doesn’t touch the griddle. I am curious if this is more consistent with the heat distribution?

I have toward the edges it doesn't get as hot as the center but I am ok with that since I can slide stuff over and it doesn't burn as I continue to cook.

    • @FightinRooster

      It still has cold zones.

I’m trying to find some honest input if I should get a 17” or just go for a high end regular griddle. I’ve heard the 22” heat way too unevenly as well. Any pointers?

It does as well as the cook top so you can clean it easier after several cooks.
