That is a very cool checklist with that automated voice, may I ask what that it is. Seems very useful when flying. Love the POV by the way, keep em coming :)
@@JessicaPilotGirl I feel like that would be really useful in any airplane - particularly in a single pilot situation. I often have my wife read the checklist to me when she flies with me. But when I'm alone or with a new passenger unfamiliar with aviation, I have to read the checklist myself. The call and response format of having the checklist read to you works so well.
Awesome video I just did a recurrency flight test and this was just the perfect help I needed. I had alot of questions with no help. This is an awesome practical check flow. VERY EDUCATIONAL THANK YOU. SOMEDAY YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTER WILL ALSO FIND THIS VERY USEFUL. SAFE FLYING, LOVE YOU ALL.
Auto Flight Engineer callback. Luv it. I'm giving her all she can take captain Kirk but I don't think she can warp in this condition until I get the photon pipes back online. Aye Scotty, keep me posted.
Excellent video, thanks! Its a wonder larger aircraft dont have this type of automated checklist in their cockpits. It would have saved a lot of lives in the past, I'm thinking of instances where flaps haven't been set for takeoff, etc.
GA is actually pretty far ahead of the ATP world at the moment when it comes to tech Automated checklists may be a new thing that will eventually appear on future airliners
@@juanesvilladaofficial on a modern jet there would be a checklist on the MFD as well to cross check. You do have a very valid point, but I think that could potentially be used to remedy that issue.
Amazing video I been trying to watch pov airplane videos to get over the fear of flying and being so high up. My dream is to travel soon. Thank you! for sharing. 😄
Unless I missed it, there was no flight control check. Had gust locks been left on, a cable issue, or some other issue, they might be dead. It was ingrained in me to always push the yoke full forward, full left deflection, pull full back, then full right deflection, then to neutral…
This is the best quality 1st person cockpit video I've seen. Please keep making more. Watching on my s 24 ultra. Stunning. I love the old air frame with the Garmin and the voice double check the check list . Super safe .
This is the best POV I've ever seen. Great video! I'm trying to do some povs on my cessna. Could you please share the settings you used for it ? Thanks a lot !
Awesome video! Thank you for not muting the camera's sound, always bugs me when I see videos with the sound muted and only hear the audio from the headset. Always better hearing the engines and ambient sound around you!
I have no flight experience but was surprised at how much that aircraft gets moved around so much. It seemed like you were having to really work to fly that thing.
@@turnandburn_aviation Nice!!! I miss my days out at Sporty's. I was in the UC program out there, but after 9/11, things kind of came to a stop. Unfortunately I don't fly anymore, but lots of great memories. I had the opportunity to fly down to Waxahachie, TX for an airshow 20+ years ago. I still have the poster for it! Nice to hear 5SP is still flying! I read that Hal retired this year. Good for him! I hope he's doing well! :)
Hey that’s awesome how you’re able to capture the audio of the plane and transmission. What’s the setting on the GoPro to be able to do that? You’ve got the cam hooked up to a splitter right so you can capture ATC ? Thanks! Great video!
There’s a knob on the bottom left of the instrument panel and you turn the knob for different parts of the checklist. Knew someone who had a citation and he let me go in the cockpit and try the checklist out. I tried a newer citation, and the auto checklist had a female voice instead. Very useful!
I do not fly jets, buy my guess is to avoid some surface control issues in case of a stuck actuator or some kind of rudder malfunction so close to the ground.
This is probably the best camera angle for cockpit POV I've seen. Looks just like Flight Simulator.
Well, it's the Flight Simulator that looks just like this....😅😅🤣
On the final I pressed the key "End" to change the camera to outside hahahahah. I forgot it was a video, and not the MSFS haha
@@BrunoS06and then you fed your unicorn right?

The cockpit of this citation has such GREAT visibility compared to other private jets! It’s brilliant to look at!
best cockpit view I've seen this year
Yeah that takeoff roll and rotation was spectacular.

Some early Citations had this automated checklist! I find it quite neat.

was just going to comment this. never have seen an automated checklist like that!
I think it's an automatic flight engineer callback system; Used to facilitate the pilots & crew in about 2 hours of system checking and monitoring.

some people don’t want kids, dude.
Gotta love an automated checklist
The camera angle makes me feel inside the airplane, superb quality mate, keep doing these content!
Its cool it's like futuristic hearing the plane make those call outs. Like it has a mind of its own
So you talk to it?
Apparently in the taxi part after the landing, while the pilot answers to it, the other pilot hits a switch I think
It's look like a semi automatic checklist
“Her” The airplane is always a she 😉
It's an audio. The pilot plays and stops it.

yes but i wonder what happens if this fails, like a false positive on the check list could cause an accident.

The POV is fantastic! Subscribed!
Everything was amazing but that bloody landing tho👌🏽🔥
Yes! Can you do please (4K) Jet Pilot | Cirrus N224TX Startup, Takeoff from Austin, Texas and Landing to California.
Nice of you to takeoff before landing traffic, I would've waited because of wake turbulence and traffic separation.
Amazing video! I felt like I was right in the cockpit.
That automated checklist sound is necessary and of course speed and readiness are required from the pilot
This is so cool, very nice sir. And please let’s us know about that automatic checklist….very useful
+1
sounds like it’s integrated with the plane
Im currently flying an aztec doing survey work. I would love to get this type rating some day

Great perspective conveyed. Really enjoyed this.
Really enjoyed this video. Awesome that you have verbal checklists running, too. Thanks for the video. :)
great video! I didn’t know about the automated checklist!

What was the intermittent flashing yellow light for at the top of the panel after takeoff?
Butter smooth landing, lovely.

👍nice flying & awesome vid
where’s the cam placed @: chin, head, shoulder?
On the head. I use a GoPro head mount for all of the POV videos
Piloting is so much fun. Everyone should learn to do it.
Great video! Really enjoyed that POV!
Excellent presentation!
Super nice video. thanks you for that. For the next can you also give external view of the aircraft ?

Nicee. Id like to fly in an airplane like the Cessna citation.
Really nice video the aural checklist was great to hear
I SEARCHED MSFS AND ACCIDENTALLY GOT THIS MASTERPIECE
I like your pov drive, I have seen your thrilling experiences, which frightens me. Nevertheless, it was really awesome
I love these pov flight vids my dream job is to be a pilot so I watch you guys my fav
I thumbs uped while you were still taxing. This must be a good video
Thank you for this old stuff plane. Looks nice. What is departure/arrival airport name and code ?
Is that Hal's Citation? I've been on that a time or two!

what headcam setup are you using?
This was a GoPro HERO11 with the original GoPro head strap, although I’d strongly recommend their new head strap for this kind of stuff

Awsome vid but why would you takeoff with someone on base at an untowered?! What's the rush?!
What camera settings did you use?
Wait, what kind of vocal check list is this? I want one
I love the old citations with their aural checklists lol

I still fly this plane from Eaglesoft on FS9

Ah, flightsimulator2035 with the new RTX8030 in VR looks crazy.
That is Boeing 747-200 ??
You’re joking right
There ain’t no way bro just called that a 747-200
Man, I've always wanted to fly a Citation like this one
Hi,
How does the automated checklist go to the next item ?
Are those cracks on the taxiway.
The black lines are they sealed the cracks
no, thats just some rubber on the runway from all the planes landing, its nothing bad, quite common to see
Did you record it in 5,3k 60 fps ?
Is that airplane talking?
Perfect landing 👍
is this the same takeoff that was posted to the sportys tiktok page?
👀 My secret identity is revealing itself
Haven’t seen That checklist reader before. So I had to ask.
what is he using to record?
How old is this aircraft and what is its cruising altitude?
Love the steam gauges, real pilots fly steam.
POV: Taylor swift on her way for a starbucks.
😂😂
Does the checklist have voice recognition?
I don’t think so
Lovely landing 10/10
Was the take off speed real? koz it looks like an F16 was taking off
how does the automated checklist work? does it listen for voice feedback? or is it a button clicked?
Button clicked pretty sure.
There’s a knob on the bottom left of the instrument panel and you turn the knob for different parts of the checklist. Knew someone who had a citation and he let me go in the cockpit and try the checklist out. I tried a newer citation, and the auto checklist had a female voice instead. Very useful!
AMAZING!
Just curious, why does the yaw damper come off before landing? I know that isn’t done in bigger planes. Great video btw! Loved it
I do not fly jets, buy my guess is to avoid some surface control issues in case of a stuck actuator or some kind of rudder malfunction so close to the ground.
It comes off so the nose wheel steering will work and you can adjust the rudder on short final
How do you have an auto checklist thing
How do you move from one checklist item to the next? A button?
what airport is this?
Great video
Beautiful plane
Where is the airport they took off from?
great view
I would love to be a pilot that shi look mad fun but difficult to learn
this plane also have a voice receiver
worlds longest taxi way??
Does your plane have APU or not
APU= Auxiliary Power Unit
We know what it stands for 😂, and no
The Cessna Citation II does have an APU.
I can't wait to start training
Enjoyed the ride! New sub.
This dude is in a serious hurry but that being said I haven’t flown in quite sometime never knew you could have a flip window on a jet.
This airport has a craptastic runway and taxiway. Looks like it's put back together with duck tape.
Wgere is the autopilot
Plenty of runway for that landing, it looks like 🙂
I fell like I'm in the captain's seat !
Private or airline?
Good job!
thanks
can I get the name of the arrival airport.
Cool Video 👍
