Seems like I need to explain what I did again.
First, of course I know iPad wasn't that good for synth, for mp3 or for DJ, but I was performing at the Apple Store which they ask me to do all these with iPad, what you want me to do? Take a guitar?
If you take music as a business, do what your clients care, not just yourself. I've trained for classic music (piano) for decades, I know exactly what I'm doing.

Not sure you're really asking a question or just mocking, but without KP3, there'll be no drum sets, leads, bass at the same time, because making loops in the iPad is really really slow which is not good for the live performance, so I sampled the sound into KP3 and make loops there.
It's also a effect processor which I didn't use a lot here.
On the iPad that I played the synth is Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. But the djay app is showing the Like a G6 by Far East Movement, not sure if you're asking this, hope I helped :)

People always says that DJ is a kind of art... but for me, real DJ art is when the DJ manipulate and create the sound in the most creative way, like this guy are doing... congratulats...
THis is very nice for performance, but profesionaly u cant use this anyware doe to very low quality samples and no good compresion.

Steve Jobs was genius at peddling others ideas. Starting in 1999 & by 2005 the Japanese were already using their cell phones for payments, download apps & music, pictures, social networking, & web. Like how we use it in 2013. He went there to study their cell phone culture (Keitai culture), then came back, repackaged it as the Iphone & sold it to the world. Had a Chinese firm done this it be would be labeled copying, but since he was from America it is called creativity & ingenuity.
Actually it did crush in some performances, but the sound is sampled into KP3s so it doesn't really matter.

Its cool to watch, but I'm going to have to address the elephant in the room: if you just had some proper gear instead of a couple of ipads then you could do much more. Just looks like you got skills and you're shooting yourself in the foot by using shoddy apps on a device not fit for purpose

People like you piss me off. There's obviously a lot of talent involved in this kind of live mixing. I'm a guitarist and a composer, and I respect this guys talents. Get off your high horse and show us what you can do.

You familiar with the JazzMutant Lemur? People that like the touch screen interface but don't like iPads seem to be attracted to them. Daft Punk used them so I had to say something because of your reference ;)

I always thought of them as a bit of an expensive toy tbh. At least my netbook will run reason! Oh and it cost a fraction of the price and I can plug in all of my existing soundcards and midi instruments.

What are all the apps you used? Especially the one with the neon green/black interface?
Nice work. Im assuming it takes a lot of practice with the iPAD. my fingers would be smashing every note at once. I was thinking of buying the KP3 but it's too expensive for what it actually does. Surely there are cheaper effect processors.
Well, iPad 4 is better. I am an apple junkie though as I'm hoping the iPad 5 exits by the time I go to the states next year.

performance was ok but sounds were just too generic though. Sux Apple had you use iPads instead of real gear.
