They aren't legendaries but still can be pricy so Keep Fighting and Precision Fire also do an ok job of slotting in for For a Cause I Believe in if you are missing copies. And if you don't have a full set of Red 3 or K-2S0 I think just filling in with copies of Dodonna, and Escort Skiff are your best options. Unfortunately K-2 is almost impossible to replace in aggro but we have to work with what we've got.
Had a fella come into the store I play at last night, looking for something to start out. The store never had shelf stock and is unable to re-order anything. From 5 boxes and about 8 of the Pre Release sets that my son and I got, I have a playset of 3 of everything (6 Vaders (one foil), 4 Bobas, 5 Lukes), so I just grabbed a range of cards, colours, summon cost etc and one each of the leaders and the bases and gave them to the poor bugger to get started. My son gave him a semi-competitive built deck so he knew he had SOMETHING playable. He is happy and coming again next week rather than just quitting before he began. I hope that other people who have a heap of spares start to do the same. It is sad that so many people are just not getting a chance to be involved due to the price barriers and lack of stock. I have decided I will probably sort my cards and what I don't keep for trade bait will just give to the store to hand out to new players.
Loved your explanations man! You really know your cards. You are hyping me up so much. I can't wait to play with my son. I have to balance my decks, the rebels are crushing the empire everytime thanks to all those shields Luke produces each round.
Liked and subscribed. Great video man! I think this video will help a lot of players. How do you think the shortage of product and rising single prices will affect the game moving forward?
Change of Heart is amazing with Palpatine Leader as you can steal the unit, swing with it, then sac it for the Emporer's ability, meaning they don't get it back, sadly.
Relentless is better then devestator? I would love to understand that logic. Relentless prevents a control deck from doing control things. Most decks that want to play devestator have lots of events they need to play! Lets start with the most important one.. barrage!
Relentless prevents your opponent from playing events. Games that go to +9 resources are control vs control so you'd usually prefer Relentless over Devastator
@@RandomNumberGaming Ill have to agree on the fact i miss-read it. It's better then I thought. Ill have to disagree still that its a better card. Not withstanding; it does mean its playable for folks who cannot /dont want to afford the devestator or the avenger.
I tried to give options for ones you def want to max out on, then fringe adds you could consider if you were already maxed. Agree we're limited on options in one set !

Great suggestions for high cost rares!

That was quite good actually :)

some of the replacements are not really valid, as you already bring some ... with one set it is what it is...
