I really like how you explain each card choice and why. Also how you explain the different combo and play lines. As a newer SWU player, i really enjoy these deck videos. Keep up the great work!
I’ve used chirrut’s ability once to give my opponent’s admiral motti +0/+2, then pinged the motti for 1 damage with r2d2. What that did was delay his “ready an imperial unit” until the end of the regroup phase, when it doesn’t do anything.
I'm surprised to see no devotions in the sideboard. With Guardian of the Whills you can play it for free and get an extra +1/+1 Restore 2. On space units like Arc-170 it gives you a restore 3 that the opponent has to deal with immediately or else it becomes a huge problem. Actually beat a Red Leia list because of it. I haven't tried Guardian of the Whills yet but I played Arc-170 turn 1, devotion turn 2 and they didn't have the space units to deal with it. Turn 3 I put down system patrol craft (I run 1 in the main and 1 in the side just for some space protection) and they just couldn't aggro me down enough and I ended up stabilizing to late game and won. Did it both game 2 and 3. Opponent was not happy.
I feel like you could cut 1 of the Red Three's for Ghost and 1 each of Obi-Wan and Honor Guards and put in 2 Zebs. Kanan now has a bit more value and you can drop a shield token on a spectre unit.
Cutting some of the honor guards for Zeb isn't a bad idea, I didn't want to remove any Red Three or Obi-Wans as they are some of the most important cards of the deck, but swapping some amount of the honor guards for Zeb was really nice in some matchups.
Would it make sense to use force lightning instead of open fire? I find the lightning to be way more effective and allows you to scale up for larger targets.
In some cases yes! One of the reasons why it's in the sideboard, but the issue with it in the main deck is it lines up quite poorly in the boba matchup since you need to wait till 6 resources to kill one thing oftentimes.
If you can, deal with Chirrut immediately but after they are tapped out so you don't end up in a scenario where they can blow you out with healing/multiple buffs on Chirrut. Taking out/trading with their force units can make them have awkward turns as a lot of their cards don't really work too well without them, things like ECL'ing out something to kill a guardian of the whills turn 2 is actually really back breaking.
I don't really like mono blue as it's really only giving you Vigilance which is one of the weeaker double pipped cards. Add to that one of the major advantages of Chirrut is his force tag and you're losing so many of the great force synergy cards.

These are some of the highest quality swu videos out! Keep it up
Appreciate that! I will!

That's awesome lol!

Interesting suggestion! Definitely a strong card against aggro, worth trying some more!
Uber great video ! Thanks for all the insight !

Really digging your videos, and your take on this deck. Keep it up! 🤘
Thank you!
Gav this a go at casual evening, it wrecked face. I need to play it against some more competitive focus decks
Can I suggest having a highlight or border on the card you're currently talking about?
I would really like and think a Fennic control deck could be built
I'm literally brewing up a concept with chir/luke red and this comes across my feed lol
Awesome! Now you got some more ideas to work with!
This is awesome. Thanks man!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Why not use the medical droid to keep him immortal?
I have a few different cards swapped in but basically running the same thing. I feel like mace is very underrated right now
Yea, Mace runs under the radar, especially with a way to increase his toughness/power you can just go off.
Good videos man! Really enjoying them all.
I’m curious, how would you heal 4 with Kanan? Unless the opponent is running off aspect cards
So if you have a Sabine out it triggers twice.
@@VeiledShotSWUthis caps at 3. It’s heal 1 damage for each different aspect among discarded cards. Which is max 3.
@@VeiledShotSWU you still can only heal 3 as it’s unique aspect among all milled cards
@@skiatheshade That's assuming that deck is not playing any off aspect cards, not super common.
@@VeiledShotSWU Very true!

can Luke’s modification defeat Chirrut?
I lost 0-2 against churrut last week, crazy list, any tips playing against him?

Fun deck
Thoughts on the mono blue version ?

And vanquish.
Was it hard to cut fleet lieutenant?
Definitely! It is a very solid addition, and you can change parts of the deck to make that work a bit better.
And vanquish
56 cards in main deck?
The site's counter is off, it's 50.
And take down
