Next up: Felix carves a wooden, functional V8 engine creating over 600 HP
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the inspiration!
And all he needs is a swiss army knife!
He's about to carve a time machine out of wood with his SAK 😂
"crAsy carfing!"
Another fantastic video where skills shown can be transferred to multiple applications. Thank you for teaching me new skills 👍
One day Felix will carve a swiss army knife with a swiss army knie
Good idea! 🤣
Do it!
Vielen lieben Dank
So many little design details in this which make it work well. "I like it" from Felix is high praise, and i agree with him.
Thank you very much!!
I can truly appreciate the amount of time and energy you put into this project. Not only did you take (what I’m assuming) a several hour project and edit it down to almost 11 1/2 minutes, there is all the prep you put into learning how to do this. Each prototype taking several hours. You must have so much patience and determination. Thank you for all your hard work sir!
Don't ask 'Why?' . . . just marvel at the ingenuity. (I'm sure Allen Millyard and Felix are twins!)
Thanks a lot for your compliment!
There is no class in perfect, love it brother, thanks for letting us pick your brain. So glad I found your channel. From USA.
An absolutely fine idea to turn the cork opener also into a spoon carving tool! Thanks Felix ! 😃👍
Thank you very much!
🤠👍 As always, I’m just drooling of envy.
Wondering - What the heck was he doing?
The World Champion of the Swiss Army Knife.
Thanks a lot for your funny comment!
Hey Felix,
Unglaublich was du da wieder geschaffen hast.
Well done, Felix! Happy Father's Day!
As a spoon carver, this puts a big smile on my face. Herr Felix, you always come up with so many ideas. Ideas i would never think of.
Great work! 🤘
Thank you very much!!
Hallo Felix, ein anspruchsvolles Projekt, alle Achtung! LG Micha
Vielen Dank Micha!
Immer wieder erstaunlich, was du hier auf TH-cam zeigst. Vielen Dank und lieben Gruß aus Deutschland 😊
Herzlichen Dank Aaron!
Very cool - best bushcraft channel, thanks Felix! Also, so impressed you had a shout out on one of Dave Canterbury's videos recently, excellent (and deserved)! Cheers!
Thank you very much for this wonderful compliment!
Very cool. What about a mortise and tenon like a tobacco pipe so you can change sizes of spoons and maybe a fork. One handle for multiple tips
Another great project! I can see making several attempts to get it right, but the final result is cool. The drying would have to be controlled so it doesn't check. Well done Felix, bravo.
Thanks for your interesting hint!
A folding spoon is so handy when camping. To make it yourself is 100 times more fun!!!
That's true. Thank you!
This is the best thing I saw this week❤
Thank you very much!
Felix, you never cease to amaze me! Les in UK 🇬🇧
Thanks a lot dear Les...
I immediately thought of using a scarf joint, and unfolding the handle in the same plane as the spoon, with the axis up and down. Great video!
Thanks a lot for your idea!
Macguiver Immler!!!💪💪💪
Thanks a lot for your compliment!
Hello, Felix, Really Enjoyed This DIY Spoon Project, Thanks For Sharing This ! Have A Great Weekend, Friend ! ATB T God Bless
Thank you very much dear Terry!
Brilliant put that into the next book and I’ll look forward to buying it
Thank you!
Very clever ideas. Love your enthusiasm.
👍👏👏 Ganz hervorragend, mach bitte weiter so. Liebe Grüße Kalle aus Berlin 😊🙋 Tschau
That's really clever Felix, and a nice clear demo too. 👍
Thank you very much dear John!
Wow, that was so cool - as always! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Another wonderful project!
Thanks a lot brian!
Another brilliant project 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 absolutely loved it well done. Genius.
Awesome!!! Never thought of carving a folding spoon before, but I do have 2 folding spoons that came with an insulated thermos for food that folds to the side instead of folding over. I think they are good good bushcraft items for storage, "the thermos" as well as the spoon to eat with. I understand that you can't cook in an insulated thermos or boil water but it will keep food hot at the end of the day. I used them for work during lunch break. Keep up the good work and God bless.
Thanks a lot for your interesting comment!
I've carved a wooden spoon too and it's a lot of work!! I wouldn't make a folding one because I just see no point in adding even extra work for no practical use. However, it's great to see your whittling skills put to the test. I really appreciate your channel, your skills and creativity Felix.
Thanks a lot Tim for your feedback!
Isn't is amazing what we can do with a Swiss army knife? Felix, you never fail to amaze us all. Another lovely video project to try this weekend. Best regards and many blessings, Wendi 🌻
Thank you dear Wendi!
I'm thinking maybe I need a different knife before I can make this project! Lol
pointless must be very board to do this. and no gloves really bad example to other hope no one cuts there finger off coping your bad habits
I think I would hinge it differently-I pivot point in the middle so rather than bending the spoon in half, you pivot it in half to nest together. Great video!
Hello Félix.
Merci pour les sous-titres en Français 🙏👍
très volontiers...
That's a really great project! Thanks so much for showing us, my friend!
You made once something similar with a mechanism and a clip right?
What a positively brilliant surprise! Marvelous! This is gonna be fun! Thanks, Felix! 😊

Very very clever design 👍😆
Thanks a lot Edward!
Thank you very much!

Wie immer echt gut Felix
Herzlichen Dank!
Your a verry clever man felix 👍
Thanks a lot Adrian!
Sei un grande😊
HellO Felix! A peculier world. I started a folding fork yesterday with my SAK and a small chisel. It actually pivots into a wooden handle. Not assemled yet but your video has bumped me onward to finish. I’m happy with the fork but the handle and pivoting, not so much. Perhaps by this afternoon. This morning I turned on YT and was shocked to see your folding spoon video. 7.5-billion humans and I wonder how many awoke to whittle folding eating utensils yesterday. I enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work. Adios!
Ha ha haaaa, thank you so much for this wonderful story!!
Thank you very much!
The spoon made itself? Wow!
Thank you!
Another great video……
Other collapsable spoon ideas could be ….
- mortise and tenon
- rope hinge
- single rope flail spoon
- sideways pivot hinge
woww. thank you so much for this inspirations!!! Rope hinge sounds super interesting
Nice pattern! Hope, my Huntsman will do it! Have a nice weekend!👍
Thank you very much my friend!
👋🔥✌️ Hello, Felix. Great work 👍💪🤘!

@@FelixImmler keine Frage.
Szép munka, megpróbálom én is, eddig még nem láttalak szemüvegben 😉, minden jót kívánok neked Magyarországról 🇭🇺
ha ha ha, yes i am almost 50... for carving i need a glasses
If you have to modify your knife to do it you could do what I did. I bolted a teaspoon to my Leatherman Skeletool. It sits nicely out of the way on the side of the knife and unfolds and was very useful in a workplace where teaspoons all went missing! I just shortened the handle, drilled a hole in it and used a longer bolt in the handle.

Top 👍
Thanks a lot Cederic!
Clever idea and great execution! I think if I were to do some sort of collapsible spoon I think I'd go with tenon and socket design, but then I'd have two pieces to keep track of. Not even sure of how I'd pull that off unless I used a piece of bamboo or elderberry for the socket/handle. I have a folding titanium spoon, but in truth I don't care for it much. It seems to want to fold up when it isn't desired.
Thanks a lot for your very interesting comment!
Una maravilla. Enhorabuena.
Schönes Video
Herzlichen Dank!
bom vídeo!
Thank you very much!
SUPER PROFI VIDEÓ,,,👍✌️🤝
Nice project.
Take one more step forward and make a fork at the end of the spoon... 🥄 🍴 🍽
