I remember that episode! Randall found out Spinelli's first name by getting into her file then he told it in front of the other kids. For the rest of the episode she was forced to join The Ashleys click until TJ and her friends got her out of it.

When I was a kid I always thought about how cool it would for there to be a Hey Arnold and Recess crossover.

You can definitely feel the Rugrats vibe throughout Recess. That was probably the reason I loved it. It had similar animation, music and writing, that all perfectly capture the blissful ignorance that is childhood.

Recess is easily one of my top 3 favorite children's shows(maybe even number one!) I loved it when I was young and watched through the entire series as an adult. I genuinely think it still holds up great and if you still enjoy children's media I'd 100% recommend it!

I'd like 107 facts about The Lionhearts. It was an MGM cartoon series in the late 90's. It stars William H. Macy as Leo, Peri Gilpin as Lana, Cameron Finley as Spencer, Natasha Slayton as Kate, and Nicolette Little as Judy.
I rewatch some episodes almost every year. Still a fantastic series that just fills my heart with nostalgia and happiness. Thank you for such a great cartoon!

When I was in kindergarten me and my friends used to watch recess every evening. I think at 6 or 6:30 pm. Once the teacher asked us, when we go to bed and my friend said he always goes to bed right after recess in the evening. She did not know the show and was so confused. He told her again 3-4 times and started crying before one of us could explain it to her.

When I was 10ish and Recess was running on Family Channal (Canada) I told my friend the the J in TJ was Jasper, just pulled it out of my ass tbh. 13 years later I find out that I was actually right?!

15:45 - He actually DOES slam a ball all the way to China in the episode "the kid came back". It was a ploy to get rid of a kid that had been tailing them for a while and they thought he was a jinx. The kid, as the episode title implies, came back, with a scorched-black ball in hand and wearing Chinese attire.

Catalan here, Recess was never broadcasted in catalan, just saying, wherever you got that fact they just looked for some weird sounding european language and added it to the list.
