    My friend, you can upscale gamecube to like 4x easily on this! No need to play F-Zero on Native resolution. And also, idk if I'd consider flicking down to 59 FPS as an actual dip.

    I started out hating mine, but now I really love it. Got it during the IndieGoGo campaign, and went all out with a 16GB 512 model in clear blue. MAN was that a good choice, that blue is beautiful. LUCKILY, they've been pretty good about fixing annoying software issues as they pop up, so my issues with them in the beginning has been more or less resolved with the last couple of updates.

    Hi Gaming Enthusiasts
    I love mine👍😄
    I pick the pro transparent blue during the indi campain. Thers not many days since i have it and not using it! Lately i do a lot of lan streaming from my gaming pc over moonlight/sunshine and it werks great with odins wifi6☺️I allso own a steam deck, a hacked vita, and handfull of the cheaper models. But the Odin is clear the most played. I was really disapointet with the decks ps3 performance and this was biside wiiu and xbox the stuff i want use it for! But most of ps3 games are unplayabel only some 2d and light 3d games played close to normal speed. I use Emulation Station as the frontend and it looks geeat. Some of the Themes probabli ported over from the Desktop pc edition have realy small letters and are not for use on smaller screens. But in future themes made for android will come out and change the look again.
    I only can say i dont regret buying the odin 2 pro its such a great device😘 i love it
    Take care guys
    Greetings from Switzerland

    Too much for me. I'm satisfied with my RPD4. Anything it can't play, I'll just stream it with Moonlight/Sunshine with shortcuts in Moonlight with boxart as well as even having gyro support.
    Hopefully, Odin 2 will go down in price after The Mini is released, but that doesn't really happen anymore! It used to be that old devices or devices that have gone through later revisions would become affordable after the fact. Not anymore, not the second hand market anyway.

    • @TBMartin
      @TBMartin หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is actually more powerful than the APU inside the Steam Deck. £450 for a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 device is actually a really good price when compared to most smartphones with the same SOC. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is on par with an AMD 6000 APU

      @@TBMartin The Z1 Extreme ROG Ally is about 30% faster than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
      Also, there's no software available for Android that takes advantage of that amount of power. There are no emulators for PS3 or Wii U or XBox 360 for example, and there are also no AAA games that aren't shrunk down to be widely accessible on mobile.

    Ayn Odin 2 Max owner here and I've already moved on. It's a great device in principle but once you own one you start to realise that all is not great. Hardware is fine but let down by software.
    I'm a retro gamer as well as a modern gamer so I own games on Android too. Can I play most of the games I own even though the hardware is powerful enough? No, I own many games that simply won't install on the Odin 2 because of the lack of compatibility. I have to side load them. That's ok for me but for others it might be above their skill level so I can't recommend this handheld to anyone.

    • @ReigningSemtex
      @ReigningSemtex หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      That is a valid point it seems ayn didn't get any proper google certification which stops some games being compatible with the odin 2 I can't think of many examples but I know wreckfest is definitely 1 of them and apparently terraria is another like you I sideloaded wreckfest but this definitely seems like something ayn could fix with an update, will they though who knows. Not a deal breaker for me I absolutely love my odin 2 max but play store compatibility is a blemish on an otherwise great device.

    • @TBMartin
      @TBMartin หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ReigningSemtex Great minds think alike. Wreckfest is one of the games I was thinking about. Games like Trials of Mana is another game that springs to mind that is not compatible with the Odin 2 but is more than enough to run it. Since the death of Yuzu & Citra, there is really no reason in my opinion to use Android for emulation/gaming when X86 is a far better platform.
