My buddy Marc Geller plays a supporting role in this film, so surreal and cool to hear people talking about it after hearing ab it from him for the past year
It’s cool to see Renate Reinsve in both this and Handling The Undead at Sundance this year. She seems to be following her success from Worst Person In The World by following in the footsteps of Scandinavian actresses like Noomi Rapace and Alicia Vikander and stretching her wings in international films. She showed so much potential in Worst Person, I’m excited to see where she goes from here!
@@seankoontz4235friends of mine who attended Sundance last year told me about Past Lives and how its a major awards contender. I wasn’t told of a single film that strong this year.
Yeah, it was there, and then it was unlisted and now it’s just… gone. Also a little weird they’ve made no videos at all in the last 10 days, hope they’re doing ok
If you look at the film slate of this year, there’s not a lot of movies where a famous actor gets caked in makeup to transform into someone else, so maybe this could get nominated for makeup and actor But every year since 2017 besides 2022, the winner of best makeup is a transformation into another famous person, like Churchill, dick cheyney, megyn Kelly, ma Rainey, Tammy Faye and Bernstein this year, and this movie is not a biopic, and not a hardcore drama like the whale, so maybe not
@samnovak3024 Not a Sundance movie but did you see the trailer for Tuesday? If A24 plays their cards right, Julia Louis-Dreyfus could win Best Actress next year
I think it's maybe more to the degree that he doesn't have that sort of Chris Evans face where he's so distractingly handsome that you kind of start to feel like he's almost not a real person? Sebastian Stan on the other hand has a slightly more down to earth kind of pinch of ruggedness to him that makes me feel like he'd be the hottest guy who works at my bank, or the secret crush of everyone in a smaller town. Very handsome, but very real.
Congrats on 50k subscribers guys up and up

She also stars in Another End which is in Berlinale competition.
As someone who was born with Neurofibromatosis, I am very interested in checking this one out.
Sounds like another strong year for Sundance, maybe better than last year
Really. It looks like the weakest Sundance year in years. Prediction right now that none of the films this year will make it into Best Picture.
Uhhh 2022?@@pb.j.1753
@pb.j.1753 They sound good for the most part and it’s too early to say that anyway

Why can’t I find any trailers for this movie anywhere???
I can't find your 'The color purple' anymore? Have it ever been there?

Ooh, sounds smart - can't wait! Thanks!

I’m already keeping my eye on things that could happen next year but just have a feeling this isn’t touching the Oscars
I wonder which movie will be this years Sundance - Oscar movie
None.

The actor in the movie?? And Under the Skin?
@@nms7872 Yeah baybay!
@@AdamPearsonVideosyou were great in the movie.
Sebastian Stan...generically handsome man? That you'd walk by on the street? Um...no. I got where you were trying to go with this but...no.

We dont need another movie to know the movie "Idiocy" came to pass.
Looks atrocious
What about it looks atrocious?
@romanxxxxyoutube It's hard to accept Sebastian Stan in this kind of role. He's too low key to be in a thriller.
@@ryantrent2114have you seen it now? It’s brilliant!
@@tombeattie6489Yes I have. It's a quietly brilliant film.
