Me too. I just watched Logan Lucky the other day and totally forgot he was in it. He’s got an impressive filmography for sure, and he’s only like 41 so many more to come.
This sounds very interesting. I always appreciate how Sebastian Stan chooses weird, fascinating stories outside of the paycheck gigs. Definitely looking forward to it
Yeah Sebastian Stan stays busy! Has been in at least 10 big projects across Film & TV over the last 3yrs & they're all quite different, full credit to him!
I'm so excited for these next few weeks. Super stoked that lot of recent films have gotten good reviews from you both. Checking out the substance later today. Can't wait.
Finally came to SF. I actually thought Sebastian looked dressed like Woody Allen in the bucket hat when he returns to the city after some years and bumps into Oswald. I also wondered about the "Eve Harrington" angle. The wigs on the "nice lady next door" bugged me so much! I also loved the score. Makes me want to research the composer Umberto Smerilli.
Wow, I think that was the first time Alonso asked Christy for her number, I remember when he resisted to the whole giving numbers thing. You can't help but think of "Mask" from way back with Cher and Eric Stoltz, it is very good and should be seen.
Btw Christy et Alonso, a bit of a shock here in France today as the Centre National de la Cinématographie just yesterday chose Emilia Pérez to represent France for the 2025 Oscars over Le Comte de Monte-Cristo that most expected!!! Seems they learned their lesson from last year’s selection I guess!!!
ANY mention of "My Dinner With Andre", I instantly think of "Waiting for Guffman" ... My Dinner With Andre action figures!!!🤣 No release date yet for A Different Man in France, though just last week it played at the Festival de Deauville to good reviews so hopefully a release here is not so far away!!
I thought Oswald was deliberately cartoonishly overplayed, he could sing, act, script write, order Japanese food, he had women chasing after him, etc. Beyond that he did have a way of dropping information that was useful to him :-)
Science fiction in more ways than one. People who are disfigured in real life are ostracized, not accepted as the fun guy because people fear that something like that could happen to them and don't want to be reminded how fragile life is.
I would never see a film that pretends Reagan was the greatest president since Lincoln. He wasn't. If this were a realistic look I'd check it out. But it's right-wing propaganda. No thank you.
I really appreciate Sebastian Stan's filmography outside of the MCU.

It's been an interesting career so far!
Renate not winning an Oscar for The Worst Person in the World is one of the greatest oscars snubs ever.
Michael Keaton for Birdman
Sebastion Stan has also played the actual worst person in the world in his upcoming film "The Apprentice".
Ha, yes, we're looking forward to that one too!
@@BreakfastAllDay I am looking forward to that too! Thank you so much! I will enjoy your review and how you tie all these themes together!

This is way better than the substance

what about a different man? what a masterpiece that thing was

We try to switch it up sometimes. Mask was good, you're right!

Bev, we refer to My Dinner With Andre action figures all the time around here :)

As someone who has NF1 I am very interested in seeing this film.
It is a subject matter that does not get a great deal of attention.
We'd love to know what you think if you end up seeing it!
Wow, I just saw it and it’s my favorite of the year. Felt like a Charlie Kaufman take on The Elephant Man, in a way
Please watch Under The Skin for Adam Pearson's break out role, everyone. A hidden cinematic Gem.
We loved Under the Skin! We reviewed it on What the Flick.
Looking forward to this!

Are you guys going to review the Reagan film? Saw it got bad reviews
I would never see a film that pretends Reagan was the greatest president since Lincoln. He wasn't. If this were a realistic look I'd check it out. But it's right-wing propaganda. No thank you.
Rich times, thanks Christy and Alonso. Yikes, I’m gonna be busy.
Thanks Rob, let us know what you think!
Thanks for your reviews ❤
Thanks for being here, Daniel!
I’m seeing it tonight!
A very quirky little film. Some funny scenes that will make you smile.
Glad you enjoyed it too!
Do "Am I racist?". It broke top 5 on box office. Why not. Tell me you are not afraid. lol
