Hi, Kendel! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us. From an oldie content creator to a newbie, welcome aboard. We're so glad to have you here!
Hello and welcome to book tube Kendel. I’m still pretty new to all this malarkey and finding my way around too. Look forward to hearing what you have to say. Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories.
Welcome! I really enjoyed your introduction - reading as an act of rebellion! And for mental health! Good stuff. I am always recommending Charles Dickens. He's one of my all time favorite authors, and I also like other victorian literature by Elizabeth Gaskell, Anthony Trollope, and more. I enjoy mysteries and would recommend Louise Penny or Alan Bradley, and SF - Ray Bradbury is the best, as well as Arthur C. Clarke.
It's something I am super passionate about! Social media can be great, but not when it sucks all your attention and creativity. I love seeing people reading in public and thinking "you're an outlaw!" to spend valuable time reading instead of mindless scrolling. And thank you for so many recommendations!!! I love the mystery books for October.
I'm excited to have discovered your channel, I'm finding this BookTube to be a wonderful lark, hope you enjoy the experience also. I look forward to following your bookish adventures.
Some of my friend think that it is "rebellious" or "edgy" to read, to seek out stories and information without the influence of social media. And I love reading things that may exist on the fringes of popular norm. Which is why I love the idea of literary outlaws, returning back to the great frontier.
Welcome to booktube fellow newbie! I love this - using books as a form of mental health
