You would not believe how many educated people are really stuck in their bubble. I've met so many doctors and engineers and they're very smart but only when it comes to their field - they can only talk about their work and that's it. Welcome to booktube! I'm a Data Scientist, so sort of computer science-adjacent but I found very few booktube content creators who are in STEM fields, despite the fact, that in my experience with my friends and acquaintances, a lot of people in STEM love reading, both fiction and non-fiction. So I'm looking forward to seeing future videos from you and have a more tech related perspective in the booktube space!
your voice is so smooth and calming, i could listen to it all day!! also idk if you're into memoirs or autobiographies, but the last book i read was I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennete McCurdy and i highly recommend it! not sure if you've already read it or heard about it, but it's really good. anyways, i think it's pretty cool getting that relation between computer science and literature, those are two things that are rarely ever paired together but i believe everything in this world can be connected and bring us another point of view. well, welcome to booktube and i hope you have a lovely time!
Awww thank you so much! That is SUCH a nice thing to say!! I just checked it out on goodreads and it seems like something that would be right up my alley. And I totally agree! It's crtical to have more people in tech reading a wide variety of perspectives and experiences.

Love the range of books you're reading. Also the aim of having a slower and more in-depth examination of books; that's what I am doing as well. Look forward to your content.
Thank you!
I’m late but so glad I found your channel! I’m a librarian at a stem university and found that our comp sci and engineering students love talking about books. Many use reading as a way to destress from their rigorous coursework which I think is great
Thank you for being here!
Subscribed! I can't wait to see you flourish on booktube!
Welcome! I love your cozy vibe.
Aw, thank you so much, Lina!
Fantastic!!!! Wish you all the best with your channel. Welcome. Subscribed and hit notification bell
subscribed once you mentioned On Earth We're Briefly! One of my favorite books in recent years, especially coming from an immigrant Vietnamese home. Loved the vid, excited to see more vids from you!
What a fantastic book. Still reading now, but WOW...
So glad I discovered you here on booktube! Love your voice 😭 Currently binge watching your videos right now!
Thank you for watching!
Ooo i just found you! 😊 subscribed!
Getting to glimpse into another world is why I read
If it werent for audiobooks, i wouldn't be able to read at all 😬🤪
Looking forward to your discussions 🤓
Best of luck! 😊
Hello!! So good to meet you! Cannot wait to see what you bring to booktube!! I always love finding new artists to follow!!
Also, based on the books you mentioned I highly recommend Bell Hooks, Clint Smith, and Maggie Nelson!
Hi Kate, thank you! Was just reading the will to change by bell hooks the other day!
@@DolapoAdedokun I have had that one on my TBR for a while now! I’ll be sure to pick it up!!
Hi there and welcome! I'm looking forward to your discussions and reviews because you have such a calming presence and overall you seem like a smart and thoughtful person with interesting things to say. You just earned yourself a follower from Finland :)
This is very very kind. Thank you so much! It's so heartwarming to hear I have a gentle presence.
Just Subscribed! Looking forward to your perspective and how you plan to share your findings in the books you choose to read :)
This is the best idea ever! BEST cure for winter blues. I have made so many incredible international connections from BookTube and have had my thoughts changed so much as a result of exposure to new ideas and new books. Welcome :)
seeing this being recommended couldnt have occurred at a better time; i just finished a rhetoric course on transhumanism and, now, seeing your interests in literature and CS feel like a blend catered to extend my interests in navigating between the two! basically, a complicated way of saying im looking forward to ur future videos :)
Excited to see where you take your channel!
Welcome to BookTube! Hope you have a good time here. And what a start you got! Really happy for you! I just hit 100 subs after 1 year of posting 😅
your voice is so smooth and calming, i could listen to it all day!! also idk if you're into memoirs or autobiographies, but the last book i read was I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennete McCurdy and i highly recommend it! not sure if you've already read it or heard about it, but it's really good. anyways, i think it's pretty cool getting that relation between computer science and literature, those are two things that are rarely ever paired together but i believe everything in this world can be connected and bring us another point of view. well, welcome to booktube and i hope you have a lovely time!
Awww thank you so much! That is SUCH a nice thing to say!! I just checked it out on goodreads and it seems like something that would be right up my alley. And I totally agree! It's crtical to have more people in tech reading a wide variety of perspectives and experiences.
Booktube recommendations are working ovettime lately! So glad I came across your video, subbed. Ps: You have the most pleasing voice to listen to haha
Welcome ❤ just discovered your channel, really enjoying so far.

Yup literature and books 📚 are amazing but sadly I don’t read much as an adult. It’s like I left it behind especially when I started college.
