I prefer colder times. You can always turn the heat up, throw more logs on the fire, put more clothes on, snuggle up with your pets/partner, put more blankets on the bed….. In the summer, you can take off only so much clothing without getting arrested for indecent exposure!
It’s called the winter blues my therapist says that some people get deeply depressed so we should be very careful for some people this can be tragic for some people!!!!
Mental health disorders aren’t cured with jackets and boots baby 😂 I have insomnia and fall makes it worse, which causes my personality disorder to exacerbate. It’s not cause I’m cold lol 😂
Im from North jersey and i went to Los angeles in dead of winter. It literally felt like late april (NJ)weather and sun internsity in los angeles in january. Even got a tan. Everyone there was wearing sweaters at 70 degrees. Those people do not suffere from seasonal depression
My mood gets much better in the winter! I’m so much happier ! I enjoy the cooler weather and the holidays, seeing family, I do not look forward to summertime.
COMPLETELY the polar opposite for me. Stepping outside with the sun out feels like the sun is sucking out the energy out of me and the bugs prosper in the hot weather. I'm such a sheltered person that I've gotten an overnight job instead of having to wait for colder seasons, and I could not be happier. (Coffee, minimal amount of people, less sweat, the quietness, less traffic, feeling like Batman, etc.) (I do however take Vitamin D supplements for lack of sunlight. That's important.)
Where I live, we had 10 days without ☀️. Only grey 🌧️ weather. You go to work when it's dark and come home when it's dark. But on the 21st of December it's the shortest day. It's only getting better. Happy Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
Mine usually does but this year has been different. Ive even found some holiday spirit for the first time after maybe a decade. Hope for a bit of the same for some other lonely, grieving, stressed or challenged.
People get depressed in the holiday season because of the weather i get depressed because it's a reminder the year is about to end and i didn't achieve anything and realized i really don't have friends or any company 😕
Sorry for u guys, down here in Tanzania 🇹🇿 its sunny and few rains , Ur all welcome to join us and see what we can offer in zanzibar ,ngorongoro, Serengeti and mountain kilimanjaro❤❤❤❤❤
That is why we have so many holidays during these months. To help with the gloom that comes with the season of death. I love winter time but can see why it can get some down
Dunno about that! Living in nq Australia, summer average, about 34 degrees Celsius, and 80 percent humidity. Sweat, flies, can’t breathe properly, energy draining, angry, thirst, cramps, yeah, snow would be nice!
Why would someone get sad or angry about winter and cold thats why you have a heater and indoor activities instead of crying and being moody why would people not listen to music, dance, play board games or like draw and paint
Winter or Summer is all the same to me. I have had depression for most of my life. When I was a kid I loved the winter and growing up in the snow but I am freaking old now and I am ready for the next phase of my life which is death and permanent. I don't mind though cause I have chronic pain and I am tired of taking Tylenol or Advil. Oh by the way Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.🙏🙏🎀🎀🎄🎄🎄🎄
I live in Northeast Ohio in the states “Snow Belt” region, where we get about 80-100 inches of snow per winter, due to our proximity to Lake Erie and lake-effect snow. ….and I absolutely love it. ❄️ ❄️ We’ve just about already reached our average for a winter, and it isn’t even January yet! We’ve gotten about 50 inch in December alone.
Winter is when I feel the most power, and alive!
Same here, because I live in central Texas.
I love winter and fall. I can't stand the heat, and spring is too rainy.
The sun gives us light and energy. I used to be. depressed and lonely.☀️
I'm with the Americans that get depressed during the summer 🤣🤣🤣 I love the cold
Keep telling yourself that, boomer
My mood goes down during summer. Can’t stand the heat.
I personally always associated it with loneliness (no school).
I hear ya.
I live in Houston, were used to the heat, just gotta accept it, can’t do anything about it
Same here
I prefer colder times. You can always turn the heat up, throw more logs on the fire, put more clothes on, snuggle up with your pets/partner, put more blankets on the bed….. In the summer, you can take off only so much clothing without getting arrested for indecent exposure!
The colder the weather the happier I am 🙌
My mood gets much better in the winter.
I live in central Texas, It's hot as hell in the summer down here, so winter feels invigorating to me.
Same here in central California
The sun gives us light and energy. I used to be. depressed and lonely.☀️
@RullVox I live in Central Texas, too, and I feel like that as well
It's called "SAD"...Seasonal Affective Disorder 💙💙💙
Oh yeah? Tell me more bro…
I felt like this for years. I don't like winter. If the sun doesn't come out I feel tired, sleepy and moody.
It's the worst. Ugh
It’s called “FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS” 🩵🩵🩵
As someone that lives in a tropical country this is a dream for me. I wish we had snow!
Seasonal Affective Disorder is real. Merry Christmas and keep spirits high!
It's very real.
Ironically, sunny days make me sad but cloudy days is when I light up
I’m the opposite. I always associate summer with loneliness and heat.
It’s called the winter blues my therapist says that some people get deeply depressed so we should be very careful for some people this can be tragic for some people!!!!
I would not be suprised, having to work hard just to make ends meet, While Some Like CEOs can just make millions of other peoples misery.
I agree my mood declines in the winter
I have a feeling missing the tropical climate and summer season if you’re migrated
Same. Ugh
Agree 100%! Depressing to me
I love winter. I can sleep sooo much better. You just need a good jacket, boots and you’ll be good🥰
Mental health disorders aren’t cured with jackets and boots baby 😂 I have insomnia and fall makes it worse, which causes my personality disorder to exacerbate. It’s not cause I’m cold lol 😂
My mood just declines in general.
Vitamin D3, K2 (MK7), and magnesium.
Even worse after Christmas when all the lights come down
Im from North jersey and i went to Los angeles in dead of winter. It literally felt like late april (NJ)weather and sun internsity in los angeles in january. Even got a tan. Everyone there was wearing sweaters at 70 degrees. Those people do not suffere from seasonal depression
I feel rejuvenated during winter. Summer is when I’m in my worst mood.
I'm bipolar, and my bipolar symptoms always get worse in the winter.
I love how you add this sad music in the background, making this increasingly sad lmao 😂
Surfs up my dudes, one love!
It's worse for people living alone.
For real
I love going to Packer games in the snow and getting to hit the outdoors with fresh powder. Try to stay positive.
Vitamin d changed my world. It really really helps depression in the winter.
Tell this to the people who love the winter. 😅
That's me.😎
ya try being allergic to the sun.and see your mood then.when all you can do is look out the window
My mood gets much better in the winter! I’m so much happier ! I enjoy the cooler weather and the holidays, seeing family, I do not look forward to summertime.
Mine goes up. I'm always happy to not go outside and I'm a Canadian.
As a Canadian that’s been through -40 degree weather y’all got nothing to be sad about we still go out so y’all can to
My mood ain't angry, but tired when the weather is crazy on 90 degree days.
0:34 "'Avr' bodies diepennd on Sanliiht? Vhat's thiss 'avr' scheisse, jov solippsisstiqq trannj?"
My favorite season is the winter
Mine too
After going through a divorce I can agree with this

The sun gives us light and energy. I used to be. depressed and lonely.☀️
Loving the cold..It make us to stay warm and eat more..
This is me, I get sad even on low light days, but I don't think I have seasonal affective disorder
Yeah, it's pretty rough down here in Arizona.
Gosh, it's December 20th and it's 80 degrees outside.
I’m so much happier in the cold seasons. 😊 I get bored and uninterested in the summer season. That’s just me.
Yes indeed ! I just had my meds increased i think for this very reason.
"light from the sun, or sunlight" -trying to make that essay wordcount
I am depressed anyway but it is worse in winter.
For me, this year, it was all year long, yes even when i graduated high school, i was still down
I love winter .
I love the sound of howling wind.
It gives me time with my self
I can read I can walk with nature all around me
Nothing brings me more joy than freezing my ass off and worrying about road conditions and power outages. 100% pure bliss
At least Im not the only one who's mood does this In winter.
(Coffee, minimal amount of people, less sweat, the quietness, less traffic, feeling like Batman, etc.)

Winter is awesome. Its dark and cold most of the day. Only thing the sucks is if you live up north.
I live up north and still love it😁
Yeah I feel it. Ever since December started, I felt more sad and depressed. My energy is low, too.
Mine actually cheers me up. I always get excited for Christmas and I love staying at home
Where I live, we had 10 days without ☀️. Only grey 🌧️ weather. You go to work when it's dark and come home when it's dark. But on the 21st of December it's the shortest day. It's only getting better. Happy Christmas 🎄🎄🎄
I thought this was only me
GET RID OF DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME!
SAD lamps REALLY helped me ❤❤❤
I did some research and found that Autumn can effect Insomnia as well, which can make people very sad and frustrated also
Mine usually does but this year has been different. Ive even found some holiday spirit for the first time after maybe a decade.
Hope for a bit of the same for some other lonely, grieving, stressed or challenged.
So is bascially depression in season. Man well
People get depressed in the holiday season because of the weather i get depressed because it's a reminder the year is about to end and i didn't achieve anything and realized i really don't have friends or any company 😕
Sorry for u guys, down here in Tanzania 🇹🇿 its sunny and few rains , Ur all welcome to join us and see what we can offer in zanzibar ,ngorongoro, Serengeti and mountain kilimanjaro❤❤❤❤❤
seasonal depression..?
When it’s comes winter I get sick which sucks 😭😭
But Christmas?
I think it's hard seeing how dark it is outside. Depending on where you live, there's so few hours in the day. Barely any sunlight hours.
That is why we have so many holidays during these months. To help with the gloom that comes with the season of death. I love winter time but can see why it can get some down
I could've told you this 18 years ago 🙄
Dunno about that! Living in nq Australia, summer average, about 34 degrees Celsius, and 80 percent humidity. Sweat, flies, can’t breathe properly, energy draining, angry, thirst, cramps, yeah, snow would be nice!
I agreee.
As a Hispanic theirs no such thing as depression or Loneliness in our house hold.
Why would someone get sad or angry about winter and cold thats why you have a heater and indoor activities instead of crying and being moody why would people not listen to music, dance, play board games or like draw and paint
I live in MN, every winter my mental health gets awful.
Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody ever does anything about it - Mark Twain.
I love the winter season but this year has felt like bleh
Lucky ones, who only have that during the winter season!
I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
I love Winter because you just need extra blankets to keep warm but the Summer is worse because it’s hard keeping cool anywhere.
Moods change, climates change. Deal with it
Winter or Summer is all the same to me. I have had depression for most of my life. When I was a kid I loved the winter and growing up in the snow but I am freaking old now and I am ready for the next phase of my life which is death and permanent. I don't mind though cause I have chronic pain and I am tired of taking Tylenol or Advil. Oh by the way Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.🙏🙏🎀🎀🎄🎄🎄🎄
This inflation and economy is affecting me more than the stinking seasonal weather
This is news ?
Change the time back
I agree
I live in southern California its 80 degrees today 😂
Come to Australia its summer here come ❤❤❤❤❤
This means 60% of people's mood INCREASES during the winter
I live in Northeast Ohio in the states “Snow Belt” region, where we get about 80-100 inches of snow per winter, due to our proximity to Lake Erie and lake-effect snow.
….and I absolutely love it. ❄️ ❄️
We’ve just about already reached our average for a winter, and it isn’t even January yet! We’ve gotten about 50 inch in December alone.
How is it depressing when its the most wonderful time of the year
It's the cloudy sky that makes me gloomy.
the mood doesn't mean snit to people who take risked and notet emotions get the better of them.
I agree, winter can really make one feel down and sad, (SAD) but medication? I honestly dont think that's the right approach.
It’s true
Less Sun 🌞
I feel the most depressed during spring and summer
Cancel winter! 🥶😝
Allright time to hop on Fortnite
I get depressed because I can't ride my motorcycle... 🏍️
We need to get rid of daylight savings time
I think it's higher than that
That why I sleep from 12pm to 11am, and I’m bored 😮
Work out and go for walks that should help.
