Just make some more 300 spine match grade 5.0’s so we can get them. Understand that the people that do all the reviews and have the hunting shows are more important in your eyes as far as testing and getting them in their hands but it would be nice if the guys and gals that spend every penny they can on hunting and equipment could get their hands on some.
@@tysonyates3485 The guys that are really into this; the ones that really care; are going to vote no on the no spine on the label. I don't care what the marketing guys spun up. It absolutely does matter and its frustrating when we can take any Easton arrow, spin the knock, and watch the tear change and have you tell us it doesn't matter. I haven't touched these yet but every other arrow I've tested has shown that a weave is more durable. I really wanted to want this arrow but those things are upsetting to the guys that go hard at this.
When pairing a fixed broad head, if I have a 4 blade broad head should I use 4 vane minimum helical/offset and a 3 blade with 3 vanes? Not sure if there would be any correlation to that or is this just a dumb theory?
Would really like to see a video comparing the easton 5.0 with victory RIP TKO, victory HLR, or any other arrow in 8. Something grains per inch with a 300 spine.
Came to the comment section to ask the same thing. It's great that all the YT bow shops/hunters can get their hands on the 5.0's and FMJ Max, but itd be nice if we the consumer base/target market could as well.
I keep commenting on your videos as I’m watching them all. My bad. But I have a video idea for you. I know your the wizard but just to give a fans/viewers perspective. At least for the rabbit hole guys. You should make a video providing the order of the steps to setting a bow up. For example you wouldn’t want to tune your bow at the shop then buy different arrows after. Or you wouldn’t want to get your site tape set up and then change your draw length. I have an idea of the correct steps but not as well as you do. And I’m just thinking maybe I’m not the only one. If it were me, I’d get the bow I want, all the equipment to attach to the bow. Then I’d pick my arrows veins and tip and insert weight. Then maybe you’d want to get your drawl length and weight. set your peep at the right height with your slider in the mid range. Then tune? Then site in after everything’s all perfect. I’m overthinking it out of addiction and probably wrong in my steps. but still. There’s certain things you don’t want to do before you do others. And it’s important to know.
I don’t understand being so proud about coming up with the name “5.0” as that seems to be the trend with all their arrows.. “6.5” “6.0”. Just seemed obvious it was going to be called that - but a very promising arrow none the less ! Can’t wait to try it.
Awesome Convo, i don't hear the direction of helical brought up enough. Josh do you have any super slowmo videos of this? When they aren't matched up does the arrow knuckleball out of the bow and does this affect accuracy? I always bare shaft my arrows to see which way they are spinning and match helical to the spin as well.
The knuckleball or stall only lasts for a few feet at most, often a few inches before the fletching takes over. Just depends on the fletching. The bigger the broadhead the longer it takes for the fletching to take over.
@@jacobpatterson2032 Mostly, no. It can effect accuracy but it's pretty minor. Most archers won't notice. There's an exception to every rule. Many pros don't believe it matters and don't care. And if you have everything else done well you can shoot two arrows fletched in different directions hit the same spot.
Just made up a 350 5.0 from podium, 30 grain titanium, 28” 125 grain head. 3 Iron will vanes. Shot a bare shaft through paper before fletching. Perfect bullet hole at a random nocked spot on the shaft. There might be something to that spineless claim.
Could you give me your arrow cocktail for this 360’/second . I have a 30” draw and shoot 80#. But can’t seem to find a spine and gpi data to allow for an arrow of this build . Could you share please ? I am grateful Ty 🙏🏻
Would like to see a spine indexing done on the 5.0 to verify there is no actually spine on these Eastons. Based on the manufacturing of these there shouldn’t be a stiff side of the arrow.
07:37 "If you don't have the time to do it..." ...you shouldn't be hunting. If you don't have 10 minutes to tune your bow, you don't have an hour for hunting.
I can't wait to get mine. Ordered them 10 days ago and now I'm just waiting on USPS to get their head out of their ass and deliver them already. But, the way it's looking, it's gonna be another day or 2. At least. Can't wait for your new shop to open. It will be alot closer to Northwest Indiana.
@tysonyates3485 Hello. No problem. Thank you for bringing us the arrow that so many of us have wanted. These will be my first Easton arrows. And I don't know if I will be switching to anything else. The pursuit of my ultimate setup is one step closer to being finished.
5.0 is still to heavy with all the technology in the world there gotta be a way to make a durable 7gpi arrow in 300 spine the victory xv is awesome at right gpi just sucks in durability hopefully once they perfect that one It'll be the perfect arrow for hunting

Love this guys demeanour, seems super genuine...reckon I'll get some 5.0s when I run out of rampages.
Thank you for the kind words. I love what I do and the brand I get to represent!
Great conversation. Love my 5.0’s
Thanks man!
When are more 300 match grades coming in?
I'd like to hear your opinion on the 5.0 vs the new victory hlr
I’d happily give you mine! It’s slightly biased but we’d love your support!
I’m also wanting to know his opinion between the two

@@tysonyates3485when will 5.0’s be available? I ordered from Lancaster a month ago.
Would love a your thought comparison 5.0 vs hlr !!

Thank you.
This is a bromance if I've ever seen one
But are they as durable as a heavier gpi arrow for hunting?

They still sell dueling dragon swag at universal as an Easter egg. Try fans never forgot about the greatest roller coaster to exists at IOA

Any plans to add an o ring to podiums titanium 4mm outserts, to align better?
I use a small O-ring on my fixed blades to tune my Exodus to my 4 fletch so that they fly as perfect as possible.
I was wondering if that October Mountain Product fletching jig is easier to set up than a Bitz?
What jig are you using to fletch arrows with? Thanks tw

Thinking about making the switch, I shoot 6.5 match grades right now

So are all the victory arrows made in Vietnam even the ones they make for ultra view if so, I’m switching to Easton
Easton is the ONLY Made in USA arrow in the world! We would love your support.
Harvested many moose with a450gr arrow with a 100gr rage 2 inch . Eastern Canadian moose .

Good call I have never seen anyone actually check that
That's what makes me think it's not really a thing
When will these be available to buy. Or should I say in stock. 🦗
Shot a 300 pound black bear upstate NY last year rip tko 500 TAW complete pass through with MEGA MEATS 25 yards I watched him drop
Give me a 75 grain all titanium east halfout for 4mm please easton
You could always just up the tip weight
Why not just use steel
Is there any videos that show the pros of 5mm over 6mm?
Vote for Tyson to replace Tim.

Good morning from central Kentucky
Kids at home do not shoot big bucks with light arrows. It 100% does not work when you hit bone. Trust me it happened to me.
