I really like Harry's reviewing style, he just talks to you as if you're there with him having a conversation about his car. Not shouty or overly slick like many reviewers. Shame he's left EVO now, rock on Harry!
MIKEK3NT as richard hammond said "the zonda is the full double espreso" yah zonda is piece of engineering marvel and its sounds glorious. While the huayra sounds more like a jet engine at full power.
This is fantastic stuff, this is what makes EVO unlike any other car magazine. EVO is the only magazine I really consider buying and telling my mates to buy. The way you educate the readers in a non-patronising tone you get that we are all 'car guys' and know a thing or two! Can't wait for part 2
Your videos make the cars real to us, very tactile. we can hear the acoustics, see the switchgear, look at the lines and you give such a friendly, casual overview. You actually make me get popcorn and get comfortable. I am excited every time a new video from you comes out. Keep up the good work
Harry, I'd just like to say that your personal videos are among my favorite on TH-cam. The way you approach all of these dream cars makes them more of a reality. Watching you address every single detail is a pure pleasure to watch. Now I know what to expect when I buy my first Pagani, however many years away that may be. EVO fan Spencer Beckman
That´s why i like your videos Harry, because they are long, you talk about all the details and all the little things that´s impossible to know if you don´t own the car, and one other great thing is no music in the videos, just you and beautiful sound of the engine :) Cheers from Portugal
@EVOTV Please keep these coming, I really enjoy seeing these cars up close and personal and hearing the trivia and stories associated with ownership. Harry is down-to-earth and, most importantly, a real car guy. Thanks!
@EVOTV They break all the rules, but they're interesting and give us an insight into what it's actually like to have a car that we all dream and wish we could have one day. I don't know about other people but the long termers are my favourite part of your magazines and I only wish there were more of them on youtube and in the magazines. Thanks for this so much!
HARRY you're simply the best, and your diaries are just awesome. The way you tell about your cars it's so strong and fascinating... I just felt as i owned that pagani. GREAT JOB
Thanks for posting this! It's really nice to see actual owners of these amazing cars discuss everything about them and describe what the car is like on a day to day basis! More to come I hope!
@EVOTV The way you review these cars is utterly amazing, Mr. Metcalfe. I'm always quoting (or talking about) you in e-mails to friends, car forums, videos on TH-cam. Please, keep posting! Huge thanks from a brazilian gearhead!
Absolutely love these in-depth video's detailing the ownership of exotic/interesting cars. When I get my copy of evo through the post, the first place I flick to is the long-termers section, especially the one's about the supercars. Its articles and vid's like this, that really detail the up's and down's of owning machinery that the vast majority of us will never have the opportunity to drive, let alone own, which petrolheads like me love so much. Especially loved the Zonda owners manual bit.
Thank you! More of these types of reviews please! So much better than the usual boring reviews where you read the specs, do a bit of driving, and wrap up.
Great video! I just love hearing about not only the good bits but the bad ones as well. It brings the car down into reality. We so often see and hear about these cars and get this idea that they are perfect in every way. I can't wait for part 2.
Brilliant stuff again Harry cheers! This is just what us dreamers want to see of cars we cannot get near ourselves. I want to see the key, the handbooks, the starter procedure etc etc. Thanks again mate - your Vids have the best car footage on the web. All the best
@EVOTV I think it is important to remember that short videos can get a high level of views but are often criticised. Long videos that are not rushed can often give better results. I love the 'garage' reviews because there is real care taken in the descriptions you give, not just impressive production costs like so many other channels.
@EVOTV This is a fantastic video and I agree with what others have put that they're good because they're long and you explain all the minute details that you never get to see unless you own the car. It's all so interesting. I've subscribed to evo for years and these videos just add to it. Thanks and I'm looking forward to part 2.
great job Harry, you have the uncanny ability to make delivering facts and figures interesting, and not boring like alot of those other video car magazines.
These are the videos I crave from Car magazines. Autocars offerings are too short and I don't trust Auto Express at all. EVO, please keep making in depth videos like this. They're really insightful and I don't think anybody truly needs Top Gear-esque production and editing. It's all about the cars for me :)
Thanks Harry, the reviews of your cars are just amazing, i can you feel that you really love the cars, you talk with such passion and truth. Keep up the good work.
Who would have thought I would enjoy a video of a bloke talking about his car in his garage more than the big budget reviews on some TV shows. Keep it up Metcalfe! EVO should take over the production of Top Gear.
@EVOTV Keep it up! Great work! I appreciate a good informative piece on a supercar. We all know they can spin the tires and make smoke, most of us don't know the little details of the dash or where the fuse-box is hidden! LOVE IT!
Harry, please make similar videos for all of the cars in your garage. All of these small details (cf finish, small elements under the bonnet, even bags) and stories behind are very interesting to watch.
my fav thing about the zonda is that it doesn't look like a car, even up to 2012 standards its way ahead of its time. It looks like a spacecraft on wheels, and goes like one too
Awesome indepth review, I especially loved the details like the fuse box and Carbon weave, things you would never see on the normal reviews... I also love the Panerai on the wrist, perfect watch for the perfect car!
The n°27 of Evo (october 2002) was my first car magazine, and on the front cover : mini cooper s vs Zonda (that Zonda). This video brought me back to beautiful memories and dreams. Thanks
Chris Harris bought the GT3 with money earned well before he started writing and filming things. Clarkson is one of three automotive presenters that's on a program that has a substantial budget, but his salary from the show pales in comparison to appearance money, DVD sales and commercial interests he has a part in. Most of Harry's wealth does come from agriculture and investments. Evo itself probably turns enough profit to cover it's staff's wages and printing costs and little else.
Thank you very much Mr. Metcalfe! I really appreciate the fact that you can tell us (not yet so lucky ones;) ) personal long-term experience with these astonishing cars.
Thanks for this seies of Videos, have only jus discovered them! Have watched you Countach and this one so far. I melt at the thought of a Pagini Zonda!!
Wonderful guy, wonderful car, wonderful magazine. All at Evo Magazine would be working hard to create such an excellent read so they totally deserve all the spoils!
Wow, Sweet Jesus, that car is a true work of art in every sense of the word. If I owned one I would just sit in the garage for hours just looking at it with all the bonnets raised. This makes a Ferrari or a Lamborghini look like a Camry.
Fantastic Video - Honest and to the point. Great Presentation! Sometimes the scripted run off the mill videos are just too boring - we want to know the owner's opinion and what they love/hate about their vehicles. Great job - moar please!
Yes, its a German modular light assembly and its called Hella 4169. Used on Zonda, Diablo, SSC Ultimate Aero, Spyker C8, Saleen S7, Factory 5 GTM, and a few more :)
A lot of rich people don't know about their car but i really like that this one knows every little bit about his. ps, what in total did this beautiful beast cost all in all ?
I really like Harry's reviewing style, he just talks to you as if you're there with him having a conversation about his car. Not shouty or overly slick like many reviewers. Shame he's left EVO now, rock on Harry!
People may disagree, but the Zonda looks - and definitely sounds - better than the Huayra.
You're absolutely right. The Zonda is better looking and "more sexy".
The Huayra is no joke when it comes to looks but nothing, absolutely NOTHING beats the sound of that NA V12
MIKEK3NT as richard hammond said "the zonda is the full double espreso" yah zonda is piece of engineering marvel and its sounds glorious. While the huayra sounds more like a jet engine at full power.
We don't disagree.
Huayra is an epic machine. But my posters as a kid have always been a Zonda
The Zonda is perhaps the epitome of what a supercar should be. Absolutely fucking crazy.
Honestly, in my opinion you are one of the best car reviewers! So many people on TH-cam don't have this conversation-esque feel. Keep it up Harry
This is fantastic stuff, this is what makes EVO unlike any other car magazine. EVO is the only magazine I really consider buying and telling my mates to buy. The way you educate the readers in a non-patronising tone you get that we are all 'car guys' and know a thing or two! Can't wait for part 2
What an absolutely lovely bloke Harry is. so laid back and unpretentious a real gentleman
2002 Pagani Zonda? That car still looks like it's very modern, by the time the technology and performance must have been incredible.
Or you can say a 1999 design
Harry must be the most likeable man in the world. I'm so pleased he had a Zonda and enjoyed it so much.
Your videos make the cars real to us, very tactile. we can hear the acoustics, see the switchgear, look at the lines and you give such a friendly, casual overview. You actually make me get popcorn and get comfortable. I am excited every time a new video from you comes out. Keep up the good work
I have to admit.. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and no driving took place. that was bloody good fun watching
Harry, I'd just like to say that your personal videos are among my favorite on TH-cam. The way you approach all of these dream cars makes them more of a reality. I love the little details that Harry explains in Diaries. e.g. Owner's book.
Really interesting.
@EVOTV
Please keep these coming, I really enjoy seeing these cars up close and personal and hearing the trivia and stories associated with ownership. Harry is down-to-earth and, most importantly, a real car guy. Thanks!
Harry your reviews are truly addictive. No wonder you set the foundations of EVO.
Keep it up

"EVO Diaries" are officially my favorite series on YT right now!
@EVOTV The way you review these cars is utterly amazing, Mr. Metcalfe. I'm always quoting (or talking about) you in e-mails to friends, car forums, videos on TH-cam. Please, keep posting! Huge thanks from a brazilian gearhead!
Still a great video in 2019 - Harry looks even younger now.
omg this is has to be one of the best zonda videos ever
its just fantastic, can't wait for the part 2

Keep up the good work.
These videos are probably my favourite car related videos on TH-cam.
now this guy really knows how to talk about a car
Wow what a car. Really like the way you present with practical tips and observations.
Who would have thought I would enjoy a video of a bloke talking about his car in his garage more than the big budget reviews on some TV shows.
Keep it up Metcalfe! EVO should take over the production of Top Gear.

Best ever videos are from Harry and Chris. keep up the good work.

my fav thing about the zonda is that it doesn't look like a car, even up to 2012 standards its way ahead of its time.
It looks like a spacecraft on wheels, and goes like one too
This video is the genesis of Harry's Garage...can't believe this was ten years ago!!
Awesome indepth review, I especially loved the details like the fuse box and Carbon weave, things you would never see on the normal reviews... I also love the Panerai on the wrist, perfect watch for the perfect car!

I hope you still have this harry, these are gonna scream up in value, bugatti Royale territory from their already ridiculous base price haha

Cracking video Harry. Not often you see the Zonda in that much detail.
This vid. delivered far more than I expected. I like laid-back storytelling.
Love these videos by Harry. And great to see someone else holding the camera for a change.
i can sit down and listen to Mr. Metcalfe all day long.
Love watching your diaries. A true Petrolhead who absolutely loves his car(s)... More please..
The extra luggage pieces are a nice touch to this already amazing machine.
Subscribed!
Just fantastic Harry, many thanks for sharing your wonderful cars with us in such a way!
You're so lucky. Really enjoyed watching this! Can't wait for part 2!
i like detailed reviews like this where you would admire the whole car
this is an example of why Evo Magazine is a success
AWESOME. More of this.....One of the best car shows around ....
Thanks for this seies of Videos, have only jus discovered them! Have watched you Countach and this one so far. I melt at the thought of a Pagini Zonda!!
Great stuff as usual Harry, cant wait for part 2!
Horacio Pagani, what a true mastermind. He might be the only person in the world who builds cars with such passion, knowledge and without limits.
I could listen Harry for hours!
I love the manual transmission and the beautiful tan leather interior. Thanks.
Good video. My thirst for more of these is growing.
That car is timeless. No exotic builder has yet to build a car that still looks good after all this time.
Awesome video. Can't wait for part 2. Thanks Harry!
thank you for showing us the true details of a zonda. Truly Grateful
Fantastic. I really enjoyed that. Cant wait for the rest of the cars.
Very nice to look back on history.
The Zonda and EVO really have grown up together !!!
Wonderful guy, wonderful car, wonderful magazine. All at Evo Magazine would be working hard to create such an excellent read so they totally deserve all the spoils!
Very good video you have told us things we would never have seen or known otherwise
He is in absolute LOVE w/ his Zondas!

Loved it. Looking forward to part 2 where I would expect you'll be driving it?
can't wait to see part two.. And Harry, tell Chris to do more videos
Great video, beautiful car! Waiting for part two!
Tap tap tap tap......
When is part 2 coming?????
Great video from a true enthusiast
Best review i've ever seen of that car!
Hey are the taillights some what similar to the Diablo's?
Yes, its a German modular light assembly and its called Hella 4169. Used on Zonda, Diablo, SSC Ultimate Aero, Spyker C8, Saleen S7, Factory 5 GTM, and a few more :)
Amazing from Harry again - love you man..
Reminded me of the first day i saw i Zonda. It's just hitting me now its has been over a decade.
Did you have any problems with the clutch so far like in almost all zonda's ?
never seen such a detail review on the zonda...and i've seen them all
A lot of rich people don't know about their car but i really like that this one knows every little bit about his. ps, what in total did this beautiful beast cost all in all ?
I remember hustling hard to afford this on grand turismo 3, never got close hahaha
Its really fun to drive in Gran Turismo 3
love the detailed tour! Don't do it on BMW 3 series but with cars like Zonda this was cool
Top vid Harry, keep 'em coming.
The index plate on the Top Gear one (identical looking car), also starts C12 but then the rest of plate is different.
