Ferrari V8 engined Lancia Thema

- The Lancia Thema 8:32 was so named because it had a 3.0litre Ferrari V8 in its nose. It was also the car Enzo Ferrari chose to be chauffeured around in. After living with it for a few weeks, I can see why..

Harry, I had three Thema Turbos in the mid to late 90s. The last 2 were the later LS models which I believe were quicker to 60 than the 8.32. Amazing cars that I drove about 40,000 a year in. The turbo was all lag and then hold on for your life. One day I was working at Heinz in West London and what do I see in the guest parking lot but an Italian registered 8.32 so I parked next to it. When I came back to my car at the end of the day there was a business card with a 'nice car' note on it. It was the chair of Heinz Europe. Great cars.
Nice compliment 👍🏼
I had a Thema turbo too, you summed up the driving experience perfectly! I think here in NZ they have all fizzed to bits by now.
I hope you could ketch up with him later.
@@rabola55 Well played @rabola55!
Well to be fair, that V8 engine was Lancia's to start with. The Ferrari V8 in fact comes from the V8 that Vittorio Jano originally developed for Lancia F1 and sports cars back in the fifties. After Ascari's death, and Lancia subsequent withdrawal from all racing activities, all their stuff was passed to Ferrari, V8 included. Of course Ferrari upgraded and further developed the engine, but it wasn't theirs at its origin ;) so you could say that with the Thema it came back home
Thanks, good to know!
I also though of this story. After all, the 1956 F1 Ferrari was Ferrari by Lancia, a developed version of the Lancia D50.
Cool bit of information. Thx for that. - The car reminds me my youth time. My friend Paulo bought one when he was 19 and just had his license for a few month. He scratched all of his money together (which was about 10.000 DM at that time - roughly 5000 Euros converted). It was a beautiful car and we all admired it - but unfortunatly just for 2 weeks. He needed to maintain the engine and some other stuff (Plugs, Filters, etc.) and as he was still broke after buying his car he needed to sell it to the repair shop it was getting fixed. - That was a sad day but I will always remember the time we had with that special and for us very expensive car.
True
You are right that the Lancia D50 project was handed over to Ferrari. But I would be very surprised indeed if that engine was the same as the 308 engine borrowed here
When you’re about to watch some BS supercar owner wrap his hideous car but then you see the notification for Harry driving an old Lancia 🙌
Literally.
I just don't watch them :)
If they keep having Parker on their channels, I’m gonna unsubscribe from the lot of them.
The best car channel on UT. Not a hipster poser in sight.😂
Lol, u referring to a certain Lambo?
Hi Harry, congratulations for your great work! Just to add one note, the base of the Thema was a 4 car project ( code name Tipo 4) besides the Saab 9000 and the Fiat Croma, also gave birth to the beautiful Alfa 164. Thanks for great entertainment and take care!
Where i live is not a very nice area but...when i was a kid a guy up the road from me had one of these sitting in the corner of his garden, me being quite the car buff when i was younger knew instantly what it was because of the rectangular indentation on the bootlid...wasnt badged. I used to brag to my mates that it had a Ferrari engine but theyd give me stick telling me i didnt know what i was on about and being stupid, the only person who could confirm this was the owner but he wasnt easy to pin down to chat to. Anyway for months i used to brag about the guy up the road with the Ferrari engined Lancia and took the stick my mates dished out until one day the owner was in the garden and i was dared to confirm what i already knew, so myself and my mates went over and with some urging...i was a shy kid lol...i asked him about his car, too my relief he confirmed my much derided theory and delighted in showing us around it and starting it up to let us hear that beautiful engine sound. Sadly he left it to rot in the corner, i never saw it move, he knew what he had and didnt want to let it go. Unfortunately he died about 10yrs ago, his house and all his possesions were sold, i was there when it was put onto a low loader and carried away, part of my childhood disappeared that day and i'll never forget that car mostly because it helped me finally get one over my mates lol, thanks for finding and showing it Harry, brought back a lot of good memories😊👍
That is so sad.
Poor Thema, Pity She wasn't saved.
Great story :) Shame about the car!
@@Jademyheart How many do think are 'saved' now?
Be interested to know,
The main issue, Was working in that bay, so a lot of Thema's were scrapped, it was virtually impossible for the average Joe, to do any maintenance. Id day single figs,
I've heard they were complete nightmares to work, and overheating problems, You could be looking at the last known running Thema in U.K
Great childhood memories 🫂🙏
Kids, there was a time when Lancia was considered status symbol....
I'm from 2004, and i know everything about lancia, I say that just to tell you that there are young people that are passionate about real cars manufacturers that are now petty much dead now, like lancia or alfa. My dad had an untegrale evo, my uncle an evo 2, while my other two uncles had a 155 silverstone and a quattroporte. They used to park them all together in front of their business and there was always a big crowd, trying to look inside the cabin through the windows
@@ale16_69 yup, I had my first Alfa (156 V6) at 17, sister and brother both had theirs at 16 and 15 respectively, dad's had two (164 2.0 and 155 V6) in my 25 years and a couple others before then going back to the 80's. Not all younger people are all about Skylines and Supras!
Currently looking at picking up a Sprint as there's a really tasty early one for sale nearby with a wonderful little boxer and one of my neighbours has a genuine Delta Integral.
You just can't beat an Italian for that wonderful feel. Mine have been fairly modern cars, because I was young and couldn't afford to maintain an older example, but they're getting older now I'm more established at 25. A Lancia would be a dream, I'd love a Fulvia, but they're a little outside my budget and very hard to find in my country (we're almost completely Jap imports) but one day
@@helplmchoking Don't know if youve5seen but there's a beautiful fulvia 3 1.3 S Safari for sale in the us, you can find it on classic driver. It's the rarest of the not HF Fulvias, only 900 examples, here in italy we can't drive cars with more than 80 hp before having accomplished one year from the license, me and my dad want to buy a Delta ibtegrale 16v together and keep it for when I'll be 19, we're gonna buy it half with my money, half with his. Yoyr story is beautiful, i hope you'll find the right car for you. But take a look at classic driver website, there're lots of fulvias, even in the us and some of them are pretty cheap.
@@ale16_69 sadly I'm in New Zealand, so even harder to find!
I didn't know about the 80hp rule in Italy, that's fascinating! And it does rather make sense...
I'll check out the website regardless, perhaps if the stars align there could be a case made from bringing one over here... Thanks for the tip!
@@helplmchoking nothing, is a pleasure to chat with true car guys, new zeland is my favorite place ouside Italy, few people, little cities, beautiful scenarios and roads. Olso houses are so cheap. Hope to go there one day soon. Good lyck for the Fulvia.
Harry just keeps delivering. The highest compliment I can pay you is my partner just put her iPad down to listen to you talk about cars.
Your partner is a keeper.
I bet you didn't dare make a comment tho lol
Rowan Atkinson put his 1989 Thema 8.32 up for sale at Silverstone Auctions earlier this year. It went for just shy of £30K. Apparently there's only 8 registered in the UK now (funnily up on recent years, must've been a few imported), so this is a real rare treat if you see one.
scowy1978 Yeah I've never seen one. and probably never will. It's got to be worth a fortune in a few years, can't get any cheaper
Looks like its a car to grab if you can find one. My mate chased down a first gen genuine M5 in spain for 10Keur a few years ago, didn't buy it and now these go for about 80K.
Gplus sucks big Yeah cool cars the 1st m5 with the center exhaust . Best I've seen was a Clio V6 in liquid yellow for £3600 a few years ago.
Lucky be sold it before he put it into a hedge.
would love to find one in my country. (us) this look slike it would be an amazing drive.talk about a total sleeper.
Hallo Harry, in Italy that car is very well appreciated. Expecialy in the highway that car was very fast!
@Michele Caronti Wow even the Alfa Romeo 164 had been a great car. My father had the 2.0 twin spark. But this one was something unusual, quite special. 😃
@Michele Caronti I had two 164, fists gen 3.0 12v and second and last gen 3.0 24v, this was a fabulous car, way improved over the 12v, one of the best cars I ever had, only surpassed by the Alfa 166!
@Michele Caronti Yes, I know what you men, problem with the 12v for me was the fueling, over time the old bosh system made the car a little jerky, at least mine.
Stefano Cecchini we very well remember 8.32, even we are not from Italy 😎
Whoa! Never actually knew about this car but I absolutely love it! Seems very similar to the original m5 but somehow more gentlemanly
OH MY GOD! I've been desperate to find a good review of this car since Top Gear's Tribute to Lancia episode. And here it is in Harry's garage, there's no better man on Earth to review such car!
I'm American and I've been interested in this car since I first heard of it. What a treat to see Harry review it
There is one for sale in holland if you are interested to buy one. Not really expensive either only 11.500 euro with 288.000km on it. In really good shape as well.
nothing wrong with being american
@@paulhunter123 nothing? That explains so much.
Fantastic car, love this era of Italian cars.

@@paulhunter123 Thanks but I have an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 already.
Don't forget that Alfa Romeos 164 was one of the Type 4 iterations, too. Thank you for producing some fascinating videos, Harry!!
Good point!
Lancias also had the Busso V6 and shared many components with the Alfa, from what I see in parts lists.
I think the Fiat Croma also had a version with the busso V6, interesting car lineup Fiat had going back then
TBfilms657 Yes, 2.5V6 from 155
Saab 9000 aero, This and an alfa 164. I want one of each.
It sounds soo good
The two most impressive elements of this channel are Harry's unquestionably passionate love of cars, and the diversity of vehicles reviewed. #brilliant🤙🎦
Before Fiat took Lancia over, Lancia models were mostly hand made and finished to a high standard. So to see the 832 which again were hand made and very special, is lovely to see again. Thanks Harry.
Lancia was fully owned by FIAT in the 80s.... Nevertheless an incredible and rare machine
Nice car. Always liked Italian cars. My dad used to own a fiat 131 mirafiori at around 1980 ish. He bought it brand new and I loved it. I was 9yrs old and i can still remember the 3 week road trip down from Newcastle to Dover. Across to France on the hovercraft. 1 week in France then my dad drove us to Spain where we had a 2 week holiday. Great memories.

One of my favorites. I remember quite well this period. My father had a theme turbo 16v, and it was super super fast and nose heavy. The 8.32 was dream car for the Italian petrolheads. Great content Harry!

cooler than any BMW Audi and Mercedes of the 21 century
but you wouldnt look at it and think corr 190e cosworth was a lot cooler
Lancia (before being gobbled up by Fiat) were always ahead of their time. After experiencing driving a Lancia, driving a BMW felt like driving a truck.
I'm happy for you to think that :)

Sweet days of real cars not these "tablet" cars of today. Now cars have adjustable suspension , Alfa had it 25 years ago . I love these videos. If it was Doug DeMouro's video it would be 35 minutes long with at least 3 minutes about those headrests.
He'd give it a 3 for Acceleration
It would be like this:
- 30 seconds introduction about the car, showing some basic wikipedia knowledge
- 1 minute of what he is going to do in the video (the same as usual is the answer)
- 15 minutes presenting quirks and features, ending every third sentense with "like in a normal car".
- 5 minutes driving while filming just his face literally having nothing to say about dynamics
- 2 minute conclusion about how weird the car is (even if it really isn't)
Of course this would all be peppered with some "FOR XXX thousand dollars!", "All cars should have this", "These unlabelled buttons, which you would not know what to do if you didn't watch this video, but this is what they do". Stretching every little bit of the video till infinity.
@@mieguistumas then give it a baffling score.
mieguistumas True story.
Who is this Doug Demoron anyway? Do I need to care?
This car has a perfect steering wheel. How great it is to have just a steering with no buttons and no bullshit!
its brown
My (now sold) Ferrari 360 had the best steering wheel of all time. No buttons or paddles, even the airbag looked cool.
Now compare that to the steering wheel from 458 :)) Yes 458 is an epic car but I think we don't need to have all that stuff to enjoy the ride ;) Cars are getting so complicated today.
Would be even better if it didn’t have an airbag.
There are few things more beautiful in a cars interior than a nice slim 3 spoke steering wheel!
What happened to Lancia? Motoring journalists always slated them and always said why would anyone buy one when they could have a beemer or merc! I remember this car and remember all the Italian cars of the time. Because of motoring journalists they were almost worthless before they were even sold. Don’t get me wrong, they all enthused about how they drove but then came the caveats by the dozen and it scared people off, that of course and the rust issue which by the time this came out was more a myth than actual but it was only ten years previously that one could see Alfa Suds new with rust and people did not forget.
Thankfully that left folks like me with great driving cheap cars which were so much more fun than anything else at the time! Great review of a great car Harry, this was a poster car for me back in the day.
Exactly! Lancia was always a special car brand to me since I was a kid. But then I forgot it, because of that German propaganda... Only German cars are good, etc., now I am driving Lancia Thesis 2,4jtd emblema... Best car I've ever had... Incredible still modern design, ridiculously comfortable and you ask yourself... Why People didn.'t buy them, they were amazing cars? Now People start to respect Lancia, because lancia was always ahead of time so much, that was the real problem of Lancia... too many stupid people.
ianmedium Lancia is the Italian Honda... both lost their glorious heritage and soul
Destroyed by cesare romiti and cantarella
Not quite destroyed, its clinging on with the Ypsilon as its only car and only available in Italy, shame that such a highly regarded brand is left to rot.
The UK was one of their big markets. The cars rotting, often failing a first MOT was the problem. Fiat learned by the 90's and started to rust proof their cars, Lancia didn't and they kept rotting due to the salt we use on the roads.
This is another Classic Harry Car - fantastic.
You need to keep this 4 door super saloon thing going, especially after seeing the Lotus Carlton in the back ground, drool.
Best car videos on TH-cam. Thank you Harry.
Finally a Lancia Harry! Time to come over in the Alpine and test it against the 69 FULVIA 1,6 HF "Fanalone"
One of my favourite Harry videos, watched this many times, just love it .
Always loved these things ever since I saw it mentioned on top gear. Harry doing this car justice 😍
Nothing better than the day you get the notification that Harry has uploaded. Best 'Automotive TH-camr' by far.
Next video: OMG! New Exhaust for my Lancia!!
Many thanks for this Harry, wonderful machine. You've got to feature an Alfa Romeo 164 Q4 which was also very special, or a QV at least, to do it justice, since you've forgotten to mention it in the review when talking about the type 4 platform!
Great video, great car. As Harry commented, building great cars like the 8:32 and the Integrale as late as 91'/94' and Lancia still faded away into obscurity. Such a shame...
Ah, brings back memories - I did my apprenticeship as a mechanic at a Lancia/Fiat/Alfa specialist and we used to have one of these come in to be worked on.
Living in the US (and born in 1984) I had never heard of the 8:32. What a wonderful wolf in sheep's clothing! The noise alone makes it worth it. Thanks Harry!
FIAT Dino Coupe and Spyder shared the Dino V6 as well as the Stratos
I was going to comment on that, but i guess i came here too late
There's also the F136 V8 used by both Ferrari and Maserati.
Oh, and the Alfa 8C
It did but then it pretty much a Ferrari with a fiat badge.

When that car came out, I was in high school. And back then I already thought "What a concept! What an amazing car, to have a Ferrari V8 in the front of a sedan/saloon!" To finally watch a review of 1, thanks Harry.
On a tangent, I forget how nicely designed 80s cars were. It seems like it's taken a long time to get back to some features like bigger glasshouse & windows for better visibility etc.

Possibly the car I love the best of all you have tested Harry. What a fabulous, handsome car with more character and class than a garage full of new German cars. Made my day watching this. Cars just don’t have the same cozy appeal of soft, comfortable relaxing luxury. Everyone is hell bent on sporty dynamics and far too much unnecessary tech. The 8.32 is totally under the drivers control with no nanny safety crap. Rather ironically I can also pretty much guarantee you wont see many current cars lasting as long as the Lancia as ruinous electrical failures will have long finished them off
RichieT5 :R
Agreed!
Well I didn’t realise even thinking back to the 80’s that the Lancia, Fiat and Saab were all the same body! Great video, the 80’s had some superb machines, I feel for these youngsters now who think a vinyl wrap Bentley is cool.
Loved my Thema, I had the 2.0 16 valve Turbo - It was breathed on and very quick. Alcantara interior.. The Integrale engine basically but just front wheel drive. I believe the bodyshell was gulvanised up to the window line on those models.
I recall being in Italy in 1986 and near the Ferrari test track at Fiorano and hearing this car being tested. It was the first V8 we'd heard for weeks. Just glorious!

Well said Sir! Superb choices but who would be brave enough to own the Mk 4 Maserati Four-Door? They look great though, even today. On the Alfa, have owned several smaller sallons but didn't take the chance to buy a 164 Q4 for 1500 quid in the mid 2000s...was low mileage too....think I had two 33s and a 145 (all Cloverleaf) at the time so passed on it. A friend of mine and his brother had 2 8.32s between them until 4-5 years ago when they sold them. I think they are worth quite a bit more now. Love that spoiler - it was operated by one of the switchgear arms.

Italians were always ahead of the rest. I just love this car. Amazing car.
@ronnie doorzon lmao, as if the the Germans, Americans or Japanese have never made a unreliable car
@ronnie doorzon what's the purpose of having a perfect but soulless car? And ferrari, maserati, alfa and lancia were not unreliable, fiats were, have you ever had one? I had a 75 twin spark, an Integrale 16v, a gtv v6, an uno, and i drove my cousins integrale evo, maserati quattroporte and fulvia , and my brother 155 silverstone and 156, never had a single problem.
@ronnie doorzon Excuse me, engineer, which car factory do you work for? I bet his car also has at least half of its Italian patents and inventions in its mechanics.
@ronnie doorzon little ronnie sounds a bit jealous
@ronnie doorzon Volkswagen Passat. I know personally two different people which had to ditch that piece of garbage. I live in a country (you can guess which one) where people only buy VW, Audi, Skoda and BMW, so I have a pretty good view on how reliable or unreliable those cars can be. It is sad that you need to write your little hateful statements without having done your basic homework first. Especially VW and Audi are everything but super reliable cars, you need to visit mechanic shops more often and ask them which cars they bring to them all the time.
Very nice Harry! I drive my SW version of the Thema 8.32 for 9 years now and love every minute of it!
Some key features are also the wheels with 5 bolts in it instead of 4 and the fully chromed grille.
Thanks for the extra info, 9 years driving an 8:32 is proper special!
Excellent car & video. Many thanks for bringing us this beauty from the '80s. There were 4 cars sharing the same frame: the SAAB 9000, this Lancia, the Fiat Croma and the Alfa Romeo 164. There is no need to mention which of them were the most beautiful, thanks to the italian designers and especially pininfarina

Fantastic review from Harry; love the more obscure cars that you don't normally get to see. That rear spoiler is mad!
The E38 BMW 7 Series had rear headrests (on higher specced models) that would automatically electrically raise when the respective seat belt was fastened, then lower again as soon as the belt was unbuckled.

Great video, I was a big Lancia fan and had 5. I had the pleasure of driving a Thema turbo and a Montecarlo as loan cars on a couple of occasions while the dealer serviced my Gamma coupe.
Get one Harry ! I remember years ago in Ayr where I lived near one used to drive around and I lusted after it so much and all my mates were like nah we want cosworths.

I always had a fascination for this car. When I was a young lad I had a car magazine with the test drive of this model and I fell in love with it first time I saw it.
Amazingly, they're super cheap to buy. Under 20 grand buys a great low mileage model. I imagine that maintaining one is the costliest part. Lancias aren't know for their reliability, especially having specific Ferrari parts.

Harry, I hope I haven't missed one of your videos. Would you consider getting hold of a Rover P5B or P6B and do a review of it? They're such iconic British cars that have gotten little recognition. Food for thought.
YES PLEASE! My heart beats strongest for the P6, but i'd sure watch a P5 video as well :)
Another vote for that!
The P5 has to be one of the most beautiful cars ever built
Great idea. I had a P6, lovely thing, always wanted a P5B.
There's a P5B near me in Victoria, British Columbia (Menzies St, if anyone wants to check it out). It's in terrible shape.
I finally see the video of 1 of my childhood dream cars, super expensive latin saloon. It was very famous in Japan, almost 2.5 times more expensive than normal thema. Thank you sir!
Lancia's demise is a friggin shame. Such a great badge with so many iconic cars. And the 8-32 wouldn't even make my top 5 of the coolest Lancias ... even though it is a rather cool ride.
My grandfather bought his 1987 Thema i.e. Turbo brand new, and he still has it with only 14,000 original miles. It still has the interior wrapped in delivery plastic, and has never been out in the rain. I've been helping him get it back on the road recently, and I must say that I have fallrn in love with the Thema.... Lovely cars they are
Fabulous, please preserve it
Lancia will always have a special place, in my heart. 😍😍😍
Harry as you can see from the comments the people that KNOW about these have left This is a True Legend you have made my day. I've had 2 Themas in the past. An 1988 8v Turbo series 1 and a 1994 16v Turbo LS series 2. Both were quick but the series 2 was something else. Nobody ever knew what it was and it surprised anyone who fancied their chances at the lights. But the 8.32 is the Holy Grail Amazing video Harry thanks again would Love to see you do a series 2 16v Turbo video. Great Stuff.
The V8 in the 8:32 doesn't have the characteristic high-pitched engine note of the 308/Mondial because the crankshaft was modified from flat-plane to 90-degree resulting in different firing order and a more muscle-car tone - legend says that this was done to differentiate the 8:32 from the typical Ferrari V8 sound, but some facts also point at a more refined engine balance and space constraints in the engine bay.
The engine was retuned from the original to have a more useful power curve for a family saloon. Hence it's more refined than Harry expected. You drive it round in a normal rev range, you don't need to ring its neck to get the most performance out of it.
I don't think changing the crank timing will have much impact on the external size, the big ends are still going to go round in the same circle ;-)
The ultimate sleeper car, I would have never imagined a Ferrari V8 under that bonnet. Beautiful little thing!
Another great review Harry! I would love to see a review of the older BMW M-cars like the e34, e28, and e36.
he doesnt have any
Wow talk about a blast from the past. I had a Delta HF Turbo ie in the early nineties and my boss had a lovey maroon 2.0 turbo Thema. Lancia’s were so different to anything else about. And fast!! Thanks for the video and what a car!

Q4 was a Busso V6 and AWD. Different animal. If he refers to today's Quadrifoglio, it's a good analogy given the shared V8 with Ferrari know-how.
I agree, though the current Guilia Q is a more overtly sporting. At least Ferrari is still allowing versions of their engines to be used in other Italian cars. This is the only one now, though?
Lovely car from an era when Italian car makers were still at the top of their game. Thanks for the video👍
Lancia, with a Ferrari engine that sounds like a Maserati.
Awesome combination.
Thanks for another great video. my taxi driver in Germany had one of these for a while: I can remember surprise the first time he accelerated onto the autobahn, glorious sound!
OMG that car is amazing, that spoiler is the most amazing thing I've ever seen, why don't more cars do that?
Its expensive
One of the most intriguing cars of its generation...one of my favourites in the Super Top Trumps pack! Thanks so much, Harry...the content is as brilliant as ever.
harry has a soft spot for Lancia.
Greg J As we all should ;)
Another magnificent video from Harry.
He alway's seems to involve the viewer in a special way.
Thank You once again for a rare treat in a very rare rust free Lancia
Eagerly waiting to see a review of the Lotus Carlton.
This car epitomises everything I've come to love about this channel. Bravo Harry!
Sad for Lancia, I had 2 Kappa, they were amazing cars, fast, reliable and exotic. It was a pleasure to drive. Unfortunately FCA decided to kill Lancia.
We have that half-man Marchionne to thank for the fact that the glorious house of Lancia, no longer exists.
So refreshing to watch someone with an actual passion for cars!
My uncle had one 1990'Ish,Always regretted selling
hi harry, i just love the way you show us all the cars in this channel, and the description of all them . greetings of argentina
Lovely car! What an effort to fit a cross plane crankshaft. Worth it for the noise alone, but also smoother than a flat plane. Looking forward to a video from that super saloon meet!
Harry, for me your videos have the best "feel". I think it's because of you're deep appreciation for the cars as well as your work. You keep the romance of fine motoring alive!
Cheers mate!
#MakeLanciaGreatAgain
I love that you feel honored to drive it...you drive everything but it IS a special thing.
Be very interesting to see a video of Lotus Carlton to compare with. Great video as ever.
The Carlton was a different beast. Performance wise, it will crush any thema.
@@whisperdancer 0 to 60 lotus carlton has it by over 1 second however 0 to 100mph is a match from the stats I can find. There aren't lots of cars to compare against from that era hence my general interest.
No comparison at all, the 8.32 is a nice and pleasant car overall but when you try to push a little bit its limits come out very soon being really nose eavy: is just not done for that. While the Lotus Omega is much more balanced, way faster and overall just a better drivers car
Lee Morson Carlton is faster by almost 2 seconds from 0-60 and more than 5 seconds from 0-100mph. There is really no comparison possible. The Carlton was a beast compared to the Lancia. But I would take the 8.32...
cossie would nail the lot
Thank you! Wonderful sound!!!
Harry I'm a big fan of your channel. Can you please review a lotus Carlton
This is so spooky,I was only talking to someone about this car a few days ago and it shows up on video feed.I can’t get enough of Harry’s videos, even watch the farm series sometimes.
As always, brilliant vid. Please say you will review the Lotus Carlton too?
THIS!
Lovely!
Really enjoyed that video. I was a young man in my early 20s when they were current. It was almost regarded as a bit of a mythical/legendary car even then.
Harry, there were four cars in the group. You forgot the Alfa- Romeo 164.
Great vid though. The 8:32 always seemed like the ultimate sleeper to me.
Exterior of the 164 was by pininfarina.
In my opinion, your car reviews are the best of the best, so real from a real car connaisseur, thanks a lot for every video.
