brings up a good point. How do they get so jacked. I must have slept through that part of biology.
@@JimmyMon666 it's actually the opposite. They were always that muscular as part of their biology. But when we evolved separately from them we took a risk down our evolutionary line be developing less muscle on our bodies, jaws, and necks, in favor of larger brains, walking upright, and having less hair. It paid off, but it could've easily been the end of our evolutionary line because we had less means of protecting ourselves.

It's not a myth but the human influence is slightly overstated. We are inbetween ice ages right now (the small ones, technically we are still in one big ice age) so of course the earth is warming up in general. I don't think any ancient egyptians thought that it was their fault that the jungles in the areas of the Sahara desert disappeared.
> It's not a myth but the human influence is slightly overstated.
The hottest recorded years just happen to overlap with the most CO2 produced
If you looked at the Ice records, you would find that it's not that warm right now. just slightly above average.During the early Middle Ages it was actually about as warm as it is now.

I know my brain has these responses to help me “survive” ...but in the world we live in now... it does the exact opposite. Our brain is not built for the world we live in now maybe therefore our caveman brain is freaking out so much causing anxiety or depression feeling like we are not accomplishing enough.
At first, I wondered why our brain hasn’t developed to not have such a caveman brain after all these years, but the brain is such a powerful tool and developing our brain would mean changing the world, changing us, changing everything Is Society and the world around us developing much faster than our brain?
Your mostly right on the last point, 'after all these years' means almost the blink of an eye from an evolutionary standpoint, especially since there is no real selector like a hostile environment for natural selection to take place.
Technology will reach the point where we are able to manipulate these brain features far faster than evolution will

The existential question is for each one to solve on their own.
I liked that
As a fellow human, I appreciate this generalized breakdown of our biological and sociological structures. I can't wait to share this with other humans.
Wow, after thousand of years of evolution, we evolved into stickman
Just as the prophecy foretold.
I was reflecting earlier on the meaning of "boredom", or perhaps the evolutionary value of it. Our ancestors existing in much more dangerous environments experiencing much greater scarcity of precious resources probably could not afford to sit still and do nothing of value all day. Each day, they had to be doing something, building something, planning _something_ to ensure the future survival of themselves, their offspring, or their broader family in general. If ever a prehistoric person found themselves idle for longer than it took to get a full sleep, then something was _wrong,_ and they needed to get to work so that they did not end up getting caught flat-footed the next time predators came around or food became scarcer than usual, or so that they could generate more offspring.
Now, however, there are those of us who find ourselves in bullshit jobs where we are basically sitting in an office to provide the illusion of doing valuable work, when all we are _practically_ doing is simply standing by, being _available_ for when something comes up to which we can apply our skills and knowledge to assist, but due to various social and economic factors, we cannot simply go home and take care of our own hobbies and business and wait for our boss to call us into the office; they instead want us in this little cubicle from 8 to 5 every day, pretending to work, whether we have anything to do or not. There are those of us who are unemployed or underemployed who do not have enough productive things to do to take up our time. There are prisoners and other folk in various situations where they simply need to sit and wait for a long time, and cannot do anything productive. Our instincts make this a very unpleasant experience, because it usually indicated something was seriously wrong, putting us in danger of being unprepared later.
I thought you were going nowhere but in the end it actually made a lot of sense! That would be explained workaholics and lot of other stuff. Nice one dude. Comment section still relevant! xD
Thanks! I really appreciate it! :)
Hey dont spam in comments
It would also explain that creeping existential crisis we all experience when we suddenly realise our life is a lie :)
And that's why I hope AI research and computational power increase a lot more in the future. Let the robots do everything important and let us enjoy our hobbies or contribute back to society.
