Coping much? Lmao
Honestly, yeah I agree with this (terminids)
Hi Alex
Friendly reminder this suit in helldivers 1 had:
-250 shots per arm with 500 total
-Could fire stratagems, even while moving
-Trampled all small enemies for an instant kill with zero self damage
-Had sufficient resistance to tank several minutes of fighting on frontline
-Moved significantly faster
-Had more damage per shot and aoe than this suit
-Had heavy armor
And I think you could repair it too.
@@berserkerpride yeah that was the repair beam support weapon could heal friendlies and sentries too. Also all vehicles had a bleed out state allowing you to get out of him safely if heavily damage enemies would also focus them to allowing you to runaway if needed.
For a 10 min cooldown and only 2 uses I’d say that’s a good trade off to make it good but not op
Man this game Helldivers 1 sounds really good...

Didn’t they change the mech to make it more realistic too? These devs still don’t know what fun is.
AH Devs: helldivers need to use more stratagems!
Meanwhile the new stratagems
Also most modifiers in higher difficulties hurt your stratagems.
"So glad I spent my super samples to decrease my stratagem cooldowns by 10% just for most high end missions to increase my cooldowns by 25%!"
They said more, not new. So obviously everything new has to be trash.
@@JadeKnightfall Not forgetting the, AH: You should use your stratagems more, here this -1 stratagem modifier.
The Emancipator is excellent against bots. The only things it struggles against are tanks and factory striders, which is understandable because it's an autocannon mech, it's not supposed to kill superheavies. It kills the hell out of devastators, gunships, scout walkers and hulks though.
first and foremost all mechs should have heavy armor, it makes no sense that our guns bounce off Hulk armor, yet our heavy mechs take damage from light arms and bug attacks. mechs should laugh at bot machine gun attacks and only take damage from rockets, grenades, tanks, and explosions in general. bugs should be chargers, bile spit, and bile titans. it wouldnt be terribly op because of the extremely limited ammo they have but I shouldnt be running away from hunters
These devs are play testing in difficulty 1-3 so go forward with that knowledge.
@@arizonaanalog389 exactly, i find it hard to believe that the guy who said all the weapons in polar patriots are S tier is playing in any diff highter then 3
@fringehouse
Exactly!!! I remember using the first mech suit on a diff 6 bot mission and it getting absolutely rekt in a couple of mins. The state of the mechs dont fucking justify how long and limited it's uses are also.
Right
One thing i found funny on his video, why the factory strider isn't ripping him to shreds with it's dual gailting guns...
the Pelican bringing the mech in does more damage than the mech itself
Thats because the pelican has the highest armor penetration of 10.
I've been using the free exosuit stratagem to whip it into a big patrol, the Pelican lights up the patrol group and the exosuit draws aggro while i mop up the survivors.
We need a pelican cannon
Wish a Dead player could use the Pelican for air support, or at least when arriving on Evac
The mech is actually very solid against bots. It's not meant to kill superheavies, but it's really good at clearing hordes of mediums which is something you really need against bots.
You are so right at the end that they're being the fun police. Someone sat there and thought "you know what would be terrible? If players could bring both mechs". Someone went out of their way to specifically make it so you can't. Just like they made it so you can't place sentries on high ground, or like they made it so you can't land your hellpod in creative spots. They waste dev time "fixing" patrols, "fixing" rocochet, "fixing" the Patriot while the Spear has been broken since release and enemies still spawn right behind you if you do a 360 of the camera. It genuinely starts to feel like malice at this point.
It's not malice, it's incompetence. Alexus is a genuine moron who's already ruined one game with his low IQ.
Not forgetting you can't climb certain places, like your character is wearing Goku's weights... lost count on how many times i almost got killed becayse my character refused to vault a 1m mound...
True. Every last one of these changes its easy to give the benefit of the doubt on in a vacuum but altogether while they have more pressing issues to address it just comes off as malicious. When the game came out I was thinking thank god this game doesnt try to force fake difficulty by keeping you from high ground like many other games but slowly but surely the game has swung in the opposite direction. This is 1/1000 ways theyve noticed people succeeding and taken away without any legit reason. It doesnt make the game more fun in any way and just seems like a power trip.
It would be WAY too OP if you could bring TWO mechs and swap them back and forth the whole game. Do you not know what "balance" is?! The mechs are the most powerful strategems with being able to kill stuff with more ammo and giving you protection. It's good as is, and the main use of a stratagem is to HELP you, not make you completely invincible and break the game🤦🏻♂️
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 None of what you said is true and it would be kind of you to delete your comment to save us all our remaining brain cells and prevent us from becoming stupider by reading this trash. You are commenting on a video that proves you incorrect.
The heavy devastators have INCREDIBLY durable shields, why can't we have mechs using that material?? Mechs should at least be able to resist small arms fire, like from infantry units.
Yeah, we play and have to strategize against 10 levels of armor. Meanwhile, not even our mechs bounce small arms off of their armor.
Having a mech with a shield and a heavy machine gun would be so dope
I think a more important question is why are our exosuits less durable than the chest plate of a basic devastator. Meanwhile the mechs 100 year ago had the same armor level as a charger.
Our mechs should be at least as armored as a Hulk.
Heavy Devastators do not have durable shields. They have invincible shields. Weapons without explosive damage will not hit through that shield.
Us: The auto-cannon turret performs better than the exosuit
Arrowhead: You're so right! *nerfs auto-cannon turret to make them in line*
They’ve still yet to nerf the handheld AC thankfully
This mech suit is awesome! It shreds any automaton unit, and it can take down Bile Titans and have plenty of ammo left, unlike the old mech using its rockets and only having a machine gun that bounces off of stuff. It's not terrible at all, because it's so useful!
By the way you have that backwards. You can fully control the mech, with multiple autocannons. The sentry only fires at random things and often kills you and teammates
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 we found the one guy who managed to get around the pre-nerf
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 nice copy paste job
60 durable damage compared to the 300 of the AC turret, or the 260 of the handheld one. It does less damage than the handheld one, what were they thinking!?
Agreed. It needs to be at least on par with the AC man portable one.
They weren't, and I honestly believe they never have been.
Probably the player can control it so it would be overpowered if it did full damage, and I'm like yeah it should be overpowered it's a vehicle with a 10min cooldown and limited uses.
@@kohth5027 Exactly, such a limited resource should be OP
regular ac is lower penetration, so a lot of the time it does 130 durable, then the mech is supposed to fire 2 bullets simultaneous
they probably thought they want similar time to kill than the shoulder fired one
The fact that they released a new mech without first fixing the aiming is so infuriating. I'm an indie game dev, and I know about 5 different ways they could fix this problem. Holy shit.
The SIMPLE solution would have been to just turn off the ability for projectiles fired from a mech to interact with the mech that fired it, and limit the allowable angle that a rocket can exit from the launcher so its not shooting sideways. If the projectile owner and the vehicle owner are the same, no collision occurs.
But, in my opinion the best solution would be to move the camera to the center of the mech instead of the right side, and then ray-cast from the camera to whatever surface the camera is aiming at, having both weapon arms aim at that spot producing accurate shots with both weapons. Both arms would be adjusting their aim by 50% of the convergence necessary.
Right now, the right arm aims along the forward axis of the mech's torso and aligns itself to be the same axis as the camera over time, and the left arm aims parallel to that axis with no convergence (That's why the left weapon misses).
Previously, the right arm aligned with the camera and the left arm had 100% of the duty to converge with the right arm's ray-casted aiming position (what the camera is pointing at, and is why this way produced accurate shots from both guns but caused the left gun to shoot itself), ofc they did away with that.
Presumably, the advantage of the offset camera would be the ability to see more of what is directly in front of you and would be obstructed by the mech itself, but as it is they don't let you aim downward anyway, so just center the camera. I don't see why we shouldn't be allowed to aim down, though. If you kill yourself by shooting a rocket at your own feet, that's on you.
They could also just enable the button that switches the side of the character the camera sits over. You can switch from right to left side camera on foot. Why not in the mech?
They could play MechWarrior 5 / MWO for a great example of how to do this properly.
Yeah its pretty terrible that this kind of crap still persists. Same problem now with the Patriot. I just don't understand. It would aim down before.
😂 work for them and help us 😂
one of many: give the off side guns their own little barrel circle so at least players know where the different guns are pointed
***AGAIN***
This isn't even the first time they've done this exact thing. Scopes? Misaligned. Mechs? Don't shoot where you are (apparently) telling them. Guns? They do no damage.
Lol
don't forget how many issues their having to tackle all at once, it's not easy and all problems aren't going to be done in a snap of the finger.

TDLR: It's a piece of shit.
I was going to jump back into HD2 today. Don’t think il bother now.
The best I can say for it is that it's playable against bugs - About the same efficiency as the Patriot in general, slightly better efficiency at killing Spewers, and it can also close bug holes with every shot. But this comes at the cost of being really inefficient against Titans.
The core problem is still the same as with the Patriot too: With how restrictive the cooldown and use limits are, I would have expected way more of a power spike or at least more sustain from it. It's a change of pace, but for sheer efficiency, it just doesn't hold a candle to other stratagem options.
And of course it's a deathtrap against bots, because it's a big slow target that's too cumbersome to efficiently use cover, the bots have several units that can one-shot-snipe it out of nowhere, and on any difficulty where you'd actually need its firepower the sheer amount of incoming fire will usually hose it down in seconds.
I'm for one entirely too distracted by "Too Didn't Long Read" 😂

It'd be sweet if once you ran out of ammo you got a booster option + self destruct, a la D.Va's ult from Overwatch. Just a way to get one final use out of the mech once you'd depleted its main weapons. Just having to ditch the mech and see it sadly sit there after it's out of ammo is so disappointing.
They should also add something like that for the hmg emplacement I'm so sick of getting instantly killed by one stray rocket that would usually do only 30% of my health or a mortar explosion that's just barely in the radius of the hmg emplacement

Dude you just said everything I've been thinking ever since the patrol buff patch that ruined the fkn game for me
Same here the patrol buff "fix" destroyed any enjoyment I had for this game.
yeah I don't even know what they did but there was helldive before the patch and there is helldive after the patch. straight cancer to play now, non stop rocket devastators just eating my lunch lmao.
60 durable damage on the emancipator is just ridiculous
I'd be 20% less mad if they've TOLD US that it's not gonna be same autocannon that is mounted on sentry variant.
But nah, same model, just damage vs some enemy parts is FIVE TIMES LESS!!!
Alexus getting his payback for hello neighbor 2 once again
More like doing the same thing again
Mechs are just flawed at a base level. Honestly, what they should do is make it where you can only call in one mech, but you have the ability, much like eagle one, to recall the mech back to the super destroyer to be repair and rearmed. This would allow the mechs to be used alot more in missions, reward good players for not letting the mech get destroyed as they only have one, while making sure they can't be spammed. Apart from that, the auto cannons on the mech should be stronger then the regular auto cannon, one identical but 4 of them. Alternatively, a more wild change me and my friends thought of, keep the mech as one stratagem but one you can customize, allowing interesting hybrids of what we have, like a missle/auto cannon mech.
THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING. ITS SUCH AN OBVIOUS MOVE TO BE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE MECHS LIKE ARROWHEAD PLEASE IM ON MY KNEES
I just don´t get it, what is the problem of being ¨over power¨ in a PVE game where you just want to play for fun?
There right there you said already, the problem is the fun
If it gets too overpowered, it gets less fun. The game has to be at least a bit of a challenge. That being said, holy SHIT they need to hire a new balance team. They have just been nerfing and nerfing and nerfing until 99% of your arsenal just shoots BBs.
Yeah I don't get it. In other games I love it when they have a God mode and you just go around destroying everything, that's actually fun for me
The stats on these were posted a while ago. It goes god awful against armor..Its better to bring the sentry
And the sentry has a lower cooldown and no usage restrictions. If you put it in a safe spot, it can absolutely go to town.
@@Spectacular_Insanity Curious how the mech doesn't just have 2 sentries bolted onto its shoulders. Must've been too fun or something.
It's incredible how consistent AH is.
Takibo posted data comparing the damage this mech does in comparison to the Autocannon Support weapon and the Turret and in summary the mech does the same damage as the turret, but only against light or non armored units...
A crude and simplified explanation: There are 2 damage values in the game, Normal Damage and Durable Damage, normal damage is the base damage which is applied to any non armored unit and Durable damage is the amount that goes through armor to reach the target HP. (there are extra considerations related to Armor Pierce 1 to 5 but those would only complicated this explanation)
The Autocannon Weapon and Sentry Stratagems have equal values on both damage types, 260 and 300 respectively, but the mech has 300 normal damage and only 60 durable damage. When firing against fully armored parts, instead of deflecting the shots you do register them but dealing only 1/5th of your base damage, you get the visual feedback of damaging the target, but it takes a thousand years to destroy it.
So basically speaking:
This mech is shait vs Rushing Light Units (Wilburs, Hunters, Blade bots and Jetpack bots), because they rush you down and you cant fire at targets too close to you;
This mech is shait vs Heavily Armored Units (Chargers, Bile Titans, Hulks, Factory Striders), because it only deals 1/5th of the damage against them;
Making it useful only against Medium Class enemies (Both Spewers, Brood Commanders, Hive Warriors, Hive Guardians, All Devastators) exclusively at mid to long range, it also closes down bug nests, explodes factories and can take down most objectives the Autocannon support wapon is capable of.
AKA don't bother with it, -1 less stratagem to use on higher difficulties.
FIRE ALEXUS ALREADY

@@jjprs3062just demote him to janitor at this point, dude ruined 2 games now
28 shots to the head on the bile titan? Wait but you were firing both guns so 56 shots??? That is MENTAL.
I was probably missing a bit but it's definitely an investment considering multiple titans spawn. mechs don't have the fun factor or the power to make me think about using them > other stratagems.
I love Arrowhead and I’m absolutely rooting for them, but I feel like they really need to rethink how they play test.
@@OhDough you were missing less than other youtubers. I keep seeing people post Crazymrpipz 's video as evidence of how bad this is, but he keeps hitting side armor and hitting other parts of the body and it took him 10-20 more shots.
120 shots per arm, more damage, and a fix to where the left arm doesnt aim correctly would be a great start for the yellow transformer
great, now I have to call it Bumble Bee from now on.
technically, you CAN aim with left arm, you just need to swap the camera from right shoulder to the left (mouse button 4 by default I think). It is working with Patriot mech. Problem with emancipator is you want both arms shooting at the same time for better dps and if you do that you cant aim another arm
Too bad, we will get 60 shots per arm, nerf the damage and HP, because alexus the incel still in AH office
Now that we have the guy from Paradox as the new CEO, it's only a matter of time before they release a paid DLC that allows you to actually shoot where you aim.
Ammunition Guided by Managed Democracy DLC pack
I heard the guy was already out the door when Paradox switched their marketing to the dlc heavy focus
Plus Johan is still chairman of the board so I doubt that's gonna happen
The only thing emancipator works it's for me to emancipate from the game
Bro this mech is really good whats the problem? It has a lot of dmg armor penetration ammo and hp they did really good job
@@PolishHelldiver LMFAO no.
- Can't aim down.
- Doesn't have first person, nor combat interface (Titanfall for example), which makes shots inaccurate sometimes, plus limited ammo :)
- Oneshotted often by pinpoint accuracy cannons
- Not a single countermeasure like dodge or armor
- Long ass cooldown
- Often bugged by terrain
- Lack of utility
- Boring

what I also noticed against the bots: Every bot that has a lign of sight to the exosuit gets aggro on you, even if they are across the map.
Havent played since the winter warbond came out, looks like it stays that way for a while. God i wish i could be a fly on the wall in their meetings at the studio so i could understand the logic behind some of these decisions.
The CEO did say a week or two ago that they probably made stuff too weak recently. Takes some time to actually implement things based on that (but yeah, that time *is* ticking)
New buffs : add more mags
New nerfs : NERF EVERYTHING
if theres spit in my food, i dont forgive the chef, if the food is burnt and i get sick they should be fired no questions ask.
Bro, this was my FAVORITE stratagem in HD1. This "mech" is a complete downgrade, holy shit. This is actually useless. Takes way too long to kill basic enemies, has next to ZERO meaningful ammo, and is even misaligned. It's probably running off the same logic as the Patriot, since it would probably kill itself with a single shot of its cannon like how the Patroit was able to hit its own body by turning too fast.
I haven't touched this game in weeks and the last time I played I couldn't even stand the game long enough to do the long sessions I used to do around release. I went from 6 hour long game sessions and racking up nearly 300 hours while working a full-time job in about a month and a half to barely finishing a single operation a day to never wanting to play again. This game has had a massive fall from grace, and I'm just immensely disappointed in this game and AH
It's because they never truly fixed the aiming with the exo suits. They f*****d it up when they "fixed" the self death with the rockets and destroyed the aim with it. And it still hasn't been acknowledged
IMO for mechs they should have two of the little circles one for each side and just let them be separate, lets people work around the guns not being aligned.
A way to resupply the mechs would be awesome, maybe if the statagum button in the mech let you call in a mech resupply with the resupply code while in a mech
It would be cool if there was refill stations on the map
Or maybe if the developers were competent they could make the cannons converge on the target. Mechwarrior games have been doing it for the last 30 years.
@@circleofsorrow4583 long term obviously that would be what's needed, I mean as like a hotfix
I'm at the point of giving up to be honest. The big balance patch better be amazing for me to not just move on permanently.
You can currently bring 2 mechs, but it's most definitely a bug. By selecting your first mech and then selecting a sentry (like the Machine Gun), then backing out and replacing the sentry with the other mech type, you can take both. Enjoy your 6 mechs today, or at least try to, but it'll probably get fixed soon.
Probably will, they fix bugs that are beneficial to players way faster than more serious issues like spear lockon, scope alignment, etc...
@@cold_ultra they even fixed some fun on the tutorial before fixing all this stuff imagine their priority was to fix som Fun from the tutorial
@ema-hx1br yeah, I just don't get it... you have this big ass list of stuff to fix. And there are the 4 random items: players can sometimes get 8 grenades, players can drop on high ground, charger brake animation is bugged, bots shoot through the walls.
Two of those game breaking bugs were fixed, you can guess which ones
I used it one time and immediately realized it was bad when 3 of us shot at a bile Titan and it took like. 30 mags from everyone to kill it.
I’ve shot them head on and nothing has happened
Anyone that doesn't play on 8 or 9 can't understand that there needs to be way more avenues to deal with Bile Titans QUICKLY. Arrowhead imo has drawn a line in the sand and it's clear. They want artificial difficulty and they'll make you as weak as possible to achieve that.
I'll take the Spear any day over this thing..
"This is Weeny Hut Jr difficulty." lmao I fuckin love that.
I’ve left this game about two weeks ago and went back to darktide. A game where 95% of the weapons have a place. Seeing this mech in action gives me no reason to return.
The issue is how the camera, It's aiming below where it shows as the weapons are below the horizontal axis. 0:25
play on quarter speed for the three seconds.
The way that the gun is interfacing with the player camera is creating this off axis issue. It was extremely noticeable in the machine gun on the other exosuit. Players just didn't have to care as you had 1000 rounds to play with. Personally the only issue i had was the rockets blowing me up and improperly tracking directional rotation. In conclusion.
It appears the Exosuits, are camera based shooting, while primary secondary and support firearms track barrel to target. And the camera based axis is off in only engine based calculation.
Probably 1 to 4 degrees, which as we see here makes a massive difference, below 20 meters.
- Fix object distance detection to correct weapon accuracy
- Give UI indication of where gun are ACTUALLY aiming
- Allow 1st person aiming
- Provide basic zoom magnification
All of these changes don't even re-balance the mech -which it would likely still need- they just allow a player to use it effectively (a.k.a. within what would be expected). If you can only engage bugs without getting melted within seconds by bots, at least allow the player to engage at reasonable distances. Ultimately it needs better DMG to ammo ratio, accuracy (a given) and improved armour.
legit havent touch the game for 2 weeks.
Sony wounded its reputation hard and alexus the dumbf*ck ruined the game even more
Havent touch this sh*t for a month now and this vid convinced me to uninstall the game
Takes about 70 bullets in mission to kill a titan with all the other crap making you miss a few shots in between. In the most ideal scenario it probably takes 50.
Another W form Ohdough. Top tier content man. Thank you for giving us a voice against this bullshit. I can’t believe Alexus is still allowed to balance shit. Mind boggling
I like how in 1979 the german army was so proud of Leopard 2's gun stabilization that they poured a tankard full of beer, put it on the tip of the barrel, and drove the tank across bumpy terrain. Not a single drop of beer was spilled. Meanwhile in the year 2184 the engineers of Super Earth are incapable of making a mech that can aim a little down in front of it.
Guess we will have to wait until 2439 for the mechs of Battletech.
In other news, Earth Defense Force 6 should be releasing sometime soon in the West. Wait for that if you want to shoot a lot of bugs and aliens and actually have fun doing it.
July 25th is what Google said is the release,

Devs killing the fun again
This game is on its way out.
EDF 6 is going to slaughter it.
You *are* able to strip the charagers leg armor, but it still takes a lot of rounds
TFW when your game's nerf-obsessed balance team doesn't even playtest enough to realize a highly prominent Major Order award Mech strategem has its left arm installed upside down:🗿
Hot take:
The mechs should have infinite ammo, but a limited number of shots before needing to reload.
Either that, or these need to punch *much* harder. As the mechs stand right now, they're pretty much a joke. Meme pick.
Wow what a surprise fuck this game I’ve never seen a dev self destruct a game this bad they shouldn’t of released it if it was garbage they should have known better with how hostile we are right now I’m losing hope in this game all together
What i don't understand about the "balance" for a lot of the weapons and stratagems is the cooldown philosophy. So a player must choose between say a 500kg and this exo: well you can fire off close to 10 500 kg's in the same cooldown as 1 mec yet, the usability, the total damage, the flexibility within scenarios the overall fun pretty much everything surrounding this choice is a no brainer for the 500. How can you make an argument to take a mec with clearly other better/effective and more fun options. It goes the same for the mines. They are unusable since their cooldown is so long compared to other stratagems that you're griefiing by taking them. Idk why the devs dont lean into the fantastical and "balance" by increasing enemies. I'd rather run around horde style blowing everything up mowing down enemies and be overwhelmed than get 1 hit head shotted by a bug or dive and spewed on the legs 1 hit. The player should feel like an eradicator imo
The "modifiers" are horrible too... increased CD, inaccuracy, longer deployment time... who greenlit this. How about modifiers that you can toggle for better rewards, a couple quick examples for bugs: 2x bug breaches, 2x bugs during breaches, higher elite spawn rates, no hud, critical hit damage only, stalkers spawning during bug breaches, 5x more warrior spawns. But hey what do I know
Maybe if they just bring back weapon and vehicle upgrades we could raise the power of stuff by choosing AP rounds larger mags ect it worked just fine on HD1.
We dont need 3 mechs just let us choose what arms to install on it then people can customise beforehand
Or... before adding that back, we could have actually *good* equipment so those upgrades wouldn't just get sucked into mediocre weapons/armors and used as a reason that X is too powerful and needs tuning downwards.
Exo-suit aim has been a huge issue since they started messing with the rocket launcher on the Patriot. I basically stopped using the first Exo after that happened. Now the second one apparently has the same problem. It's pretty sad that I kinda preferred the version of the Exo suit that could blow itself up. At least it could aim where I wanted it to.
You'd have hellbomb with legs.
It is the low durable damage that is killing it. That it inherited the patriot rocket's aiming issue is annoying though.
That's one thing. Crappy aiming like with the Patriot is also a major issue. Both mechs also need a big durability buff to be worth using against bots.
What the mechs DESPERATELY need is a pretty simple solution:
TWO targetting circles. One for the left gun, one for the right.
That would fix so many aiming issues.
Or, you know, they could just work like they used to and just be fucking accurate on both arms with one. We already had that. It worked. It was good.
Man's had it up to HERE with these updates
You can equip both exosuits, its just buggy right now.
This mech head-on against a tank is terrible. It'd take at least half the ammo to destroy a tank from the front, around half if you hit its sides, from the back is as expected. But the time it'd take to get around to its flank takes too long, and the tank would most likely take the mech out in one shot long before you can get behind it and your practically sitting ducks against the automatons above a certain difficulty (diff). I think if vehicles had the ability to resupply and repair, we could make do with how weak it is for higher difficulties. Thinking the patriot exo is the entry-level mech for all-round use, the emancipator for medium-armored enemies and chaff, and who knows, maybe we'll get a dedicated AT mech/vehicle for heavy armor enemies. Pretty sure balancing has been so bad because the balancing team devs play strictly diff 4 or 5 at max where there's very little chance for chargers, BTs, and tanks, so everything has been balanced around that diff so far.
Its fun against bots but you need a recoiless or quasar to take out tanks and cannon turrets. Mech can't do jack from the front as you say.
Balancing in this game should take place purely in how many enemies we face, they can add more or less until the missions feel challenging to the right level. Weapons should ALL kick ass, every single one.
This mech suit has actually been "in the game" (in the code but just not accessible) since early April, possibly longer. No work has been done on it recently, so it's probably got many of the same issues as the Patriot mech suit.
The guns are the same one on the Pelican nose gun.
The ap has to be a bug. If this mech's guns had the same Ap as the turret, it would be amazing, and even with the handheld, it will be solid against medium targets. As of now, the ap feels effectively the same as a Liberator Penetrator.
The problem is not the penetration that is actually higher and on the same level as the sentry. The problem is a secondary damage type calculated against armored targets that's way way lower than other cannons. That's why it takes so many rounds to down titans and other heavy targets.
It's because they gave it low durable damage for some reason
it deals less than half the durable damage per shot than the autocannon turret or handheld autocannon
it does the same damage has the sentry turret(300) except for structure damage which is only 60 on the mech where the sentry does the full amount of 300
Both have level 5 AP but they do very different durable damage
if they just switched the arms around on the Patriot, it would actually be usable and outclass the Emancipator by A LOT.
In the leaks from 3 months ago, it could kill bile titans in 8 shots. They nerfed it to shit, I’m not sure why Alexus doesn’t want us to have fun….
