Howdy! I've had half a dozen Elites and none of them match the tone of the OB-3. The OB-3 has a much more robust three dimensional tone up and down the neck in comparison. The RK's are loud but have less depth IMHO.
@@banjoez thanks so much, that seems to be what my ear is telling me also, I have an early 70’s fender and looking at either the OB3 or the OB250+ to add to the collection
@@beardedbiker2647 If you can swing it I think you'd be happier with the OB3 vs the OB250. Different pot assemblies. Keep your eye out for a lightly used one to save some money if in no big hurry.
