Good afternoon Ed. I always watch your videos on my 65 inch television which is running sound through a pair of KEF LS50 speakers which are excellent. Clearly and immediately, the Neurrman mikes were much clearer and precise. I described the other speakers as well just hazy. Keep up the good work. Your videos are always great.
The noise floor is considerably louder. But you can compensate for that. Other than that, to my old ears, they sound fine, however the expensive ones did sound better. And yes, I was using over the ear headphones to listen.
Did I see some kind of small black creature moving in the bottom right corner at 1:44 :D ? Listening to this on my laptop with some very basic headphones and the Neumann are already a delight to listen to. Others are OKish I guess... but of course they are leagues apart. Indeed not astronomy but much enjoyed !
Good catch! That is Sama the Maine Coon cat. I took care of him for 4 months while his human toured the country. If you look carefully you will see glimpses of him in other recent videos.
Behringer has always had a bad reputation, but I see that you have already figured that out. While I am listening to these on an iPad, I could actually hear some difference between the two makes.
These videos are a joy to watch, always good audio and video and properly done lightning and well presented, i could watch Ed review a toaster!
There's a difference in clarity and depth both in your voice and the piano, listening with cheap speakers on a desktop PC

Also please release that version of Over the rainbow, it’s absolutely amazing.
It's not astronomy, but my wife likes your voice. Thumbs up

I use a Behringer XM8500 for vocals, serves me well.
Sounded the same to me but with TH-cam compression and my inexpensive speakers, I'm not really surprised.

C-2's. Good enough for Government Work.
Behringer just isn't that high on quality, and besides it has horrible aperture too.
