This song 100% made me want to start cleaning my house. Sounds like something my mom would put on some April Saturday morning while making us move furniture and clean behind the fridge or something.😅 Definitely a vibe.
Hi Jenna, I think if you’ve heard them before you have probably heard Wind of change, they played the heck out of it on the radio and it was on lots of tv shows. It’s a great song to go to as a follow up! You’re going really well with the reactions, the public reaction has been amazing! Keep them coming 🙏🏻 🌹
Ooh I’ll have to do that one and see if that’s the one I think I’ve heard! Thanks Darrell, I really appreciate all your support. You’ve been so helpful, and so great. 🤍
You opened a Pandora's box! The Scorpions🎸🎶 one of the best Rock/ Heavy Metal Bands in Rock& Roll history! This is the type of Band that can change your life!🗣🎶🎸🥁✌👍
I've read many stories of people whose marriage was saved by hearing this particular song on the radio. It's beautiful to see how big an impact good music can have on people's lives!
Good Morning! I hope you have a great start to your week. I think yesterday I left you a small list to get your feet wet in the rock side of music but this is a great old school song.
The lead vocal did a great job of mixing the breathy tones with the powerful belting and they seemed to be able to really effectively create a lot of musical tension. All of this works really well in a love song in particular. The song as a whole didn't really grab me, but always good to hear something new!
Totally agree, it’s fun to hear new stuff. Not everything will grab you or hit you the same, but that’s the fun thing about art… there’s something for everyone. 🤍
Great reaction young lady to a great band. I was stationed in upstate New York in the army and saw my first concert in Rochester, NY. in 1984. It was Bon Jovi and the Scorpions. Great concert!
Unfortunately that version is heavily truncated, the original is almost 6 and a half minutes long. This one misses some fantastic guitar solos and more singing. But you are right, this is 80s. There are power ballads and then there are 80s power ballads. And this is probably the best of them all. Or at least in the top-2 or top-3.
Evening Jenna❤. This is a great song, and glad you enjoyed it. Scorpions can rock with the best of them, but they're also the kings of the power ballad...like this😁. They even have whole albums of just power ballads 🤘
Hiho. I´m a german and a heavy metal head for more than over 30 years. I started with rock ballads like this. And for sure this is one of the best ballads for decades. Klaus Meine has a unique voice and he really knows how to sing. My personal favorites are also: Sebastian Bach from Skid Row and Ronnie James Dio. Please make a Video Reacting to: Rainbow Eyes from 1978 ( R.I.P. ) Thanx Scott
Those were what Sparklers used to be like. Minimal smell, it's a coating on a piece of wire (with a part you can hold/uncoated). They ARE a fire hazard; they don't go out until they burn out, even if you drop them. Welcome to the Scorpions!
Great reaction! This is one of the best power ballads ever made. Maybe the second greatest might be 'A tale that wasn't right' by Helloween. Check out the live version from 1992.
"Fire"... "shred"... "sparklers", I like that you called out the important parts and I'll sub just for that! Also, safety? We didn't care about "safety" back then, if a thing was safe it was probably not very fun. The sparklers were likely handed out at the entrance, tbh (and everyone had a lighter, so no issue there). I liked the Scorpions back then and still do occasionally, they had a different sound and it was awesome that Klaus was NOT a... hmm... shall we say "pretty boy" unlike other hard rock frontmen like Sebastian Bach, Bon Jovi, Jani Lane, etc. I can't recall a single girl that was "in love" with Klaus!
You have to check out more Scorpions, "No One like You (my personal favourite), Rock you like a Hurricane, and Winds of Change are all excellent songs!
Jenna, their playing live! Most bands that play live are terrible and sound nothing like their albums. This song was released in 1984. They sound great!
Hi Jenna, this is a popular Scorpions ballad. This version is truncated. The entire song is 6:12 min long. Since you have played piano from a young age, I think you'd enjoy Lovebites - Swan Song with Chopin intro live. For me, the best rock band on the planet.
Now these days concert goers use cell phone lights ,back then it was bic lighters & sparklers if sparklers were allowed ,although I havent seen much sparklers used ,it was mostly bic lighters used by fans! This is why the 80's era was loved so much ,I lived that era too fast an wished it never ended an if you liked this band ,you would love Dio! Awesome reaction!..👍
To answer your question, in America no one used sparklers, that must've been in Germany or somewhere in Europe. Maybe sparklers were/are popular there. But we in the 80's and in America just lit our lighters during a power ballad. Nowadays, people hold up their smart phones, except me, still don't own one. I used a lighter at my last concert in October, 2023 at Tom Keifer (from Cinderella) during a ballad while everyone else held up their phones. lol. And a guy behind shouted at me "yeah! old school!!".
I would recommend to listen to "Send me an angel". And if you want to do "Wind of change", look for the full version, not the radio edit. It's missing the guitar solo.
7:20 Yup, and we didn't have "safe spaces or trigger warnings" so what fire hazard are you speaking of? Sparklers are perfectly safe.😏 I would suggest "Wind of Change" for the next Scorpions song. It's a song inspired by the fall of the Berlin wall. Oh, and the Scorpions are from Germany.
This song was composed by Michael Schenker, brother of Rudolf Schenker (the guitarist with a mustache), at first they were not interested, but after a tour with more commercial groups, Foreigner among others, they decided to record it... and when the girls were not heavy's The listeners thought, "Well, heavy metal isn't that bad and dangerous." The gutarist you are referring to is Matthias Jabs... and if he had many GRUPIE´S. Scorpions was a heavy band with many groupies...girls who followed the band to sleep with the musicians...if you listen to the song Rock You Like A Hurricane...it is dedicated to the groupies...f.u.c.k you like a hurricane...
Pretty much everyone has heard Scorpions in their life, even if they did not realise it. Rock you like a hurricane for instance has been used in so many movies etc, that you have probably heard it. And their other song that is hard to avoid is Wind of change, another song that has been used a lot in other forms of media. Bloody great band
I like california Oakland gig footage, also -85. It's a bit darker but more catchy filming at least guitar point view. Suits good for a song. My opinion. You might check that too.
Hahaha No, not at all! It’s supposed to be funny and cheeky, meaning I’m just a normal person who enjoys singing. I’m not a professional vocalist. Just a big music lover here to enjoy the music, same as you. 🙂
Good “old school rock”reaction. The vibes for sure. There is a new band of young sisters called “the Warning” they bring similar vibes but fresh. Check them out. They come with a large army of followers so get ready for your channel to grow. “Choke” is a good introduction song. Great job by the way!
I have a reaction coming from them soon, actually!! @Darrell71 has highly recommended them! Though I did Enter Sandman first, but I’ll do Choke next. Thank you!!
Can't say I was too excited about Scorpions, but I do like your reactions. And, I think it's great that you are exploring many different musicians. Just don't stay away from Nightwish too long. 😁😁😁
I do about 8-10 videos at a time, because otherwise it’s too overwhelming to film and edit. So there will be more Nightwish coming in the next batch - soon! (and a solo Floor song! Eek!) 🤍 Thanks for being here!
Sorry, but Nightwish are good but have nothing on Pink Floyd. It's like chalk and cheese the class between them. Pink Floyd were light years ahead of Nightwish. Everything Pink Floyd do is perfection and has been since 1964 when they were formed. I'd like to see Nightwish do what Pink Floyd have been doing for over 50 years. Nightwish would never do that in their lifetime.
Sparklers on a cake - I've seen it but never felt compelled to have a slice after having those metal pieces fall into the icing. Another genre I never got into in the 80s. I was more into Brian Ferry, the Police, and ziggy stardust.
There is a cool version that can interset you : it's a live with the violonist Vanessa Mae (live in a french TV music show). You can find it on Scorpions page withe the tittle "Scorpions & Vanessa-Mae - Still Loving You (Taratata, 28 Apr 1996)" (54 M of views at this day, must be not too bad haha 😄) The violon add a little something which make it my favorite version till now
I grew up with hearing the scorpions (because that is what my older brothers did hear when i was young). The first songs i heard from them are f.e. "Steamrock Fever" and "Speedys Coming". (from the famous "Tokio Tapes") For me those songs are still hyms. And "Still loving you" is the first ballad i heard from the Scorpions i believe. It is from 1984, so you guessed right with the 80s. Unfortunately their are real soft now. "Rock you like a hurricane" was already soft, but still ok, because it was fun. But "Wind of Change" although it had meaning, songwise i think it was a real low point for Scorpions.
Hi Jenna, An awesome ballad by a heavy band is the Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters". Elton John said it's one of the greatest songs on Earth. You might know it, it's a classic. But if not, please consider checking it.
Remember the days when you had to be a good singer to be in a band?
What an ignorant comment
Yes!
I love Scorpions! Give Rock You Like a Hurricane, Winds of Change and their cover of Drive a go!
Oh my god, Rock You like a Hurricane already sounds familiar! Maybe that’s the one I’ve heard of? 🤔 Will look into these thanks!
This song 100% made me want to start cleaning my house. Sounds like something my mom would put on some April Saturday morning while making us move furniture and clean behind the fridge or something.😅 Definitely a vibe.
Ahahaha what a nostalgic feeling! Not sure how fun cleaning was a kid, but I love nostalgic vibes.
Klaus has a voice that cant be matched. He is amazing, one of my favorites, him and Ronnie James Dio.
One of the greatest Power Ballads!!
Hi Jenna, I think if you’ve heard them before you have probably heard Wind of change, they played the heck out of it on the radio and it was on lots of tv shows. It’s a great song to go to as a follow up!

1 of my favorite songs.
This song has a haunting melody. _I LOVE EET!!!_
Saw them live this year, Klaus Meine is 75 and still powering through... Wind of change is the one to react too from Scorpions.
INDUCT THE SCORPIONS !!!!!!!
Good Morning! I hope you have a great start to your week. I think yesterday I left you a small list to get your feet wet in the rock side of music but this is a great old school song.
Sorry I wrote it on your first reaction to Disturbed.
I’ll go double check I wrote it down! Thank you!
The lead vocal did a great job of mixing the breathy tones with the powerful belting and they seemed to be able to really effectively create a lot of musical tension. My favorite band of all time ! Great reaction
Everything about Scorpions is perfect
LOL this is the music I grew up to! I can't believe that.. he's a great singer.
Hi! Another great reaction! I grew up in the 80’s…awesome time! You can’t go wrong with the Scorpions!
It said it on the screen you watched. Peters Pop Show(30.11.1985:) lol. Such an awesome song for sure.
This was a full playback show at "Peters Pop Show", but The Scorpions are also a fantastic Liveband!
Great reaction young lady to a great band. I was stationed in upstate New York in the army and saw my first concert in Rochester, NY. in 1984. It was Bon Jovi and the Scorpions. Great concert!
That was a Full Playback Show in Germany , that is the Album- Version of this Song - GREETING FROM BERLIN ( GERMANY )
I saw the Scorpions in 1984 with Billy Squier. Great show!!

One of the most haunting songs out there, adore it so much ❤
Hiho.

new member and i think you are doing fantastic
Wow a great journey your on loved working with klaus and Rudy and even Michael great memories
Hai I am Michel from the netherlands I am new on your channel love your style awesome have fun and enjoy 😊
That's his guitar 🎸/ shoulder strap, 😊
one of the best hymn ever......so much covered.....
Great reaction! This is one of the best power ballads ever made. Maybe the second greatest might be 'A tale that wasn't right' by Helloween. Check out the live version from 1992.
If they played Rock You like a Hurricane immediately before, they were probably needing a rest.
100 bonus points to you for effortlessly using the word “shred” at the first sign of a guitar solo. Spoken like a true human of the 80’s 😁
HAHAHAHAHA 😅🤘🏼🎉
"Fire"... "shred"... "sparklers", I like that you called out the important parts and I'll sub just for that! Also, safety? One of the best metal/ rock bands ever
Hi Jenna ... very nice reaction ... regards from Germany
Thank you! Cheers from Canada!
So you like these pants :) I still have my stage pants from the eighties. Leopard (Red/black, Blue/black and one pair in Silver/black zebra :)
You have to check out more Scorpions, "No One like You (my personal favourite), Rock you like a Hurricane, and Winds of Change are all excellent songs!
Jenna, their playing live! Most bands that play live are terrible and sound nothing like their albums. This song was released in 1984. They sound great!
This is like a fire on 50 degrees 😊😊😊
My favorite scorpions song is "There's no one like you." The group has too many hits to mention.
No Hanphone there just the VIBES!!!!
You probably have heard Rock you like a hurricane by them. It was a very popular song by them or winds of change
Hi Jenna, this is a popular Scorpions ballad. This version is truncated. The entire song is 6:12 min long. Since you have played piano from a young age, I think you'd enjoy Lovebites - Swan Song with Chopin intro live. For me, the best rock band on the planet.

Top 5 ballad worldwide!
When he closes his eyes you can see the slit eyes looking through his eyelids.

If you're in to power ballads , I would suggest more scorpions, or Stealheart. "She's gone ", "i' ll never let you go", will blow you away.
I love this song!
It’s so fun! What a vibe.
Scorpions is the most beloved group of all women in love in the world!! And not only women!! And you is beautiful!!
Great reaction. We actually used lighters and they would burn your hand. The sparkler stuff wasnt that common.
I still burn my hands using lighters. Haha Evil.
Nice fashion reaction video.
Right😂
Not about the music always about the clothes. 😂😂😂
Hahaha I like to take in the whole performance of the song, which includes the dope outfits!
Loved your reaction. You should listen to Sebastian Krenz from The Voice Germany. This guy is brilliant!!!!!
Ya those sparklers would've been a fire hazard with all the hairspray in the 80's... at concerts we usually used Bic lighters
If you've been to a sporting event, you'll know one of their songs.🤘
Beаuty + Scorpions= Good Day!
7:20 Yup, and we didn't have "safe spaces or trigger warnings" so what fire hazard are you speaking of? Sparklers are perfectly safe.😏
I would suggest "Wind of Change" for the next Scorpions song. It's a song inspired by the fall of the Berlin wall. Oh, and the Scorpions are from Germany.
This is what we got LIVE back in the day. No lazers no CGI... This is real.

Bloody great band
love you react, ♥ watching from Thailand
Other more "rock" songs from the Scorpions "Arizona " & "the Zoo" are both great songs that were popular back in the 80s.
Nice. A critique of the clothes. No surprise.
Art is art is art, my man! Cheers.
Ps, Comfortably Numb is definitely the greatest guitar solo ever. The second solo is immense
I like california Oakland gig footage, also -85. It's a bit darker but more catchy filming at least guitar point view. Suits good for a song. My opinion. You might check that too.
Well, if you've ever in your life turned on a radio, you've probably at least heard their song Rock You Like a Hurricane lol.
And btw. this is for you!
my trapper keeper was multi colored :)
They cut-short the guitar solo!!!! You have to listen to the original. 😄
Id love for you to describe what a professional shower singer , sounds really good ?
Hahaha No, not at all! It’s supposed to be funny and cheeky, meaning I’m just a normal person who enjoys singing. I’m not a professional vocalist. Just a big music lover here to enjoy the music, same as you. 🙂
You will love the Scorpions guitar solo if you liked this one.
Scorps are one of the best. Hope you hit some more. You might try another 80s rock group...Def Leppard try "Bringin’ On The Heartbreak".
Good “old school rock”reaction. The vibes for sure. There is a new band of young sisters called “the Warning” they bring similar vibes but fresh. Check them out. Try listening (or reacting) to Maybe I Maybe You from The Scorpions.
Reaction linkin park please
1. Given up live
2. QWERTY live in tokyo summer sonic🙏
Hey girl there's nothing better then tight black leather pants and a great dreamy voice!!!!!!!
Yes! This!!! 🙌🏼
I grew up with hearing the scorpions (because that is what my older brothers did hear when i was young). The first songs i heard from them are f.e. "Steamrock Fever" and "Speedys Coming". I've definitely heard Rock You Like a Hurricane, which is probably why I thought I'd heard of them. Hah!
I was a teenager in the 80ieth. When a guy didn't kiss you to this song, he would never kiss you...
Oh my gosh really?! Hahaha
You don't know it yet, but we are about to spend a lot of time together. 😂😂😂
For some good Scorpions, try "Holiday", and "The Zoo"
I say Klaus is on same level as Steve Perry and Jon Bon Jovi. 3 greats
please check the cover of Dimas Senopati singing the song Still Loving You. I hope you like...
We used cigarette lighters when I was young and going to concerts regularly.
Yeah I remember lighters too! Never saw sparklers though. (Real shame, they look cool.)
Nice video... But since you're trying German Metal, you also ought to focus on bands like Rammstein, Electric Callboy and Feuerschwanz..
Hi Jenna,
An awesome ballad by a heavy band is the Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters". Elton John said it's one of the greatest songs on Earth. You might know it, it's a classic. But if not, please consider checking it.
Definitely have heard it! I like Metallica. And I agree, it’s an awesome song! 🤍
✌❤🎶🎶❤✌
Wow...65? Really? They are still doing shows now
the long version is so much more than this was ,,,,,they left out a lot so much better than this
1984
😂😂 i dont know how people thought this look was sexy
