THIS is simply a masterpiece... The words, his voice, the crying of the guitar... It's PERFECTION. THIS IS AMONGST THE BEST OF THE 80S ROCK BALLADS... I will always have chills every time I hear it... I FEEL THIS IN MY SOUL!!!!
This is one of the few songs that immediately commands my attention and respect no matter how many times I've heard it.

I've seen them twice live, quite late in their career. That man can sing! Their live performance is nothing short of the studio album, Klaus may be THE goat in hard rock music, right now only Steven Tyler has similar run with similar skill and power, now that Coverdale is out of contest. in a decade Joey Tempest will reach the distance, but will he keep the clarity and power?
I think this may be one of the best reaction videos I've seen. ☺😄 Been listening to it since it came out and I still react the same way.😄 Shawn had to kiss his ladies hand.😄 Yeah it'll do that to ya. 😄 Quite likely the _best_ rock ballad in history.

I'm a 50 year old German man, and growing up, I always felt 2bd-hand embarrassment (aka cringe) about Klaus' German accent and their hairdo etc... Until I was in the audience of their "wind of change tour" I didn't understand how HUGE they were... but now, seeing great people like you react to them on TH-cam, analysing them and telling me how great they are, really lets me understand the magnitude of their influence and greatness. So thanks a lot for your great reaction, analysis and for removing some of my "German inferiority complex".

I remember hearing this song for the first time in a sub shop. Some dude was jamming this song on his boom box right in the sub shop. When I heard it the first time, I loved it. And, it brings back the same memories every time I hear it. I saw them for the first time about 10-12 years back when they were touring with Night Ranger. They were awesome!
Hard to say too much about The Scorpions. Kicking ass since 1968-this album is 39 years old this year, and I haven't stopped playing it since it came out. Nothing but hits on that record.

Blackout and LAFS...still good, but I love every song on those other two I mentioned. Still Rocking my Scorpions tattoo from the early 80's....although it is out of focus and a bit blurry these years, LOL. I only saw them at the US Festival '83 in San Berdoo. Was my 21st B-Day.
Oh this is very personal song for me, from my past when it was played/dedicated to me. When myself and my boyfriend were arguing/on verge of break- up. I wouldn’t listen to him and he finally pops this in the tape deck and said..”oh then, will you please just listen to this?!” Needless to say, it worked like a charm.. 🤫. ☺️💝✨

It started as an eerie song for me when I first heard it. My family and i were visting a vacation spot with cabins in Minnesotra that we used to stay but it was basically abandoned and this song was blaring out through the area. It was haunting to me. But today it is a beautiful love ballad for me.
