Tithing in the middle of lack , in the middle of my kids saying mom...we have nothing, we are broke and you're hitting. But I continued and God had been truly faithful. Not where I want to be, but I am in a my h better place, because of tithing and good stewardship

Thank you for the use of the word to remind God's child(ren) "Me!" that I can do it, In Jesus name. My heavenly Father wants me to prosper here and on the other shore.

I enjoyed the video thank you very much. I want anyone reading this comment to consider when reading the Bible you need to take it context;when you read Isaiah and Jeremiah and others you need to realize who the target audience is; God's promise to the Israelites around 3000 years ago isn't a promise to a 21st century Christian . Yes we can learn about God's character from the the old testament and new testament but it isn't written directly to us so it's not always a copy and paste the truths to my life type of deal.

Don't agree with everything he said, (specially when it comes to tithing) but I will say that a good book about Black Christian's millionaires, Dr Dennis Kimbro "The wealth choice" is awesome!!

There appears to be no express NT passage that supports saving hundreds of thousands of dollars or investing to gain hundreds of thousands of dollars for future retirement needs against other NT passages that expressly call for financial contentment or giving up of possessions.
Mat 6:19 - Do not accumulate for yourselves treasures on earth
Mat 19:21-26 - If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor
Luk 12:33 - Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide yourselves purses that do not wear out-a treasure in heaven that never decreases, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.
Phil 4:11-13 - have learned to be content
1 Tim 6:8-12 - But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Heb 13:5 - be content with such things as you have

10% gone...more like 20% when you add taxes.
