I was only able to visit Glacier in the off season, with somebody who didn't really want to hike lol. It is the most beautiful thing or place I have ever seen, I felt at peace. I want to get back so bad! It is very far for me, unfortunately.
Hey, Kraig, thanks so much for posting these videos. I don't know if I will ever get to go on any of these hikes in this life, but I enjoy them vicariously through you and they nourish my soul. Just want you to know that I am grateful. :)
On my hike today I realized that I hadn’t seen one of your videos in a while. So glad for this one. Simply the best, let the sights and sounds speak for themselves, a true visual artist. Thank you for the inspiration.
Really love this new (is it new?) format of comments about the hike at the end of the video that was made directly on the trail. Feels more authentic and in a moment.
I backpacked 60 miles there this past summer and GNP has my heart. Busy in the tourist areas and quiet on the trails ❤ Your Hiking adventures are so beautiful and inspiring!!
Finally, GNP and its position amongst the phenomenal Northern Rockies. I really do believe the Northern Rockies, within the greater Rockies = the most elegant, photogenic collection of mountains on Mother Earth. Draw a polygon from the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana to Monkman Provincial Park in British Columbia, bam!! Even this shape doesn’t cover the entire breadth of the Northern Rockies, yet this area is more than half the size of the entire Alps. Much of this shape is also just across the Rocky Mountain Trench and the also spectacular Columbia Mountains. It’s just incomparable, this section of the Rockies, in terms of wilderness experience, hiking routes, cleanliness astonishing mountain shapes. Even without any major peaks above 13k feet, the steep vertical relief and forest canopy = unbelievably consistent.
This video captures the beauty of Glacier National Park so well! The breathtaking views from Red Gap Pass, the serene moments at Glenns Lake, and the iconic Highline Trail are simply stunning. Solo hiking for three days is impressive, and your thoughtful filming really brings out the tranquility and adventure of the journey. The behind-the-scenes touch was great too - looking forward to more! 🌲🏔
Another excellent piece of work. Beautiful shots, fine editing, Kraig, this reminds me that the last time I was in Glacier was to long ago. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your next adventure. Thank you
Nice, glad you got to GNP, if you do come back, try the northern traverse trail along the US/Canada boarder, starting on the East side at Kintla Lake and hike across to the east to Goat Haunt, Make sure you camp at lake Francis, one of my favorite lakes, can catch a ferry up to Waterton to resupply and come back down and hike to Stoney Indian pass, to Elizabeth lake, then exit thru Tunnel to Manay Glacier/Swift Current. Then catch a shuttle around to Jackson Glacier Overlook on Going to the Sun Road, and hike to Gunsite Lake, then up over pass to Ellen Wilson and then onto the Sperry Glacier. Can camp there and day hike up to Glacier, then all down hill to Lake McDonald to exit. Happy Trails!
I drove over Logan Pass in August of 2012 from Logan Pass to St. Mary, then up to Waterton, Banff and across to Vancouver Island. Glacier was absolutely amazing. The scale of the landform is beyond comprehension even to the naked eye.
Beautiful video! I'd love to make it out to Glacier NP someday... I think fall just before it snows would be the perfect time. I love all of the yellow! Hope the fam is good :)
Awesome scenery, Kraig! And WOW!!! 28 miles after 2-18 milers… Phew! Seems like one week later and it would have been too cold! Thanks for the video!!🙏😎❤️
Hey Kraig, you usually get hundreds more comments. I've followed your adventures since covid when I first came across your awesome adventures. I'm 67 now but started preparing for bikepacking on my 750 watt Rad Power Bike (heart issues) when I was 62. I've purchased the two person Nemo Hornet tent, a Patagonia nanopuff orange jacket (that I have lost), and the quilt for a sleeping bag, plus the JetBoil minimo(?). Thanks so much for your linking sites to purchase your gear! I suggest you get some small mesh bags you cant put rocks in to substitute for tent pegs in areas where the driving of stakes is not practical. Looking forward to more of your adventures!
Sighhhh, we’ve been watching your videos for years and I’ve always wanted to run into you on trail and now I find out we were in Glacier at the same time!?!? Well, technically I was in Kallispell for a conference, but still. Maybe someday!
Was that Stony Indian in the background? I hiked close there a few years ago, when I hiked Mt Cleveland on that route. Camped at Stoney Indian Lake and looked down on Glenn's Lake while hiking up. I would highly recommend hiking Cleveland, if you're into peaks.
Trail vlog after the hiking video is a great idea and entertaining. 👍 Although maybe an action cam would be better for that because the mirrorless camera was really shaky 🤮
While listening to your podcast I´ve put this on the background muted just to give you views :) P.S. are you still going to Nepal soon? I was there in September on the ABC and almost MardiHimal Hi from Lisboa :)
Ok, reachd to Nepal part. the ABC (like Mardi and a bunch more) is super doable!!! Did it in 5 days from Pokhara (some people do it in 2/3). No Guide required (of course is a help forlocals), but I passed the checkpoints and the oficials there didn´t even mentioned. Just pay 15 bucks for 1 permit and you´re good. Amazing Nepal!

Glacier is THE best hiking in the country. Really can appreciate you putting in all that extra work to get those consistently stunning shots.
Yeah Glacier National Park is an insane place.

The GOAT Adams back at it 💪
Somehow, things are okay again in this crazy world when Kraig takes us for a hike...
perfectly put.

I’m happy to hear that. Thanks for watching.
Every shot is a masterpiece of it's own. Kraig+Nature=Elevating Art

Hiked the Highline trail 3 days after the grizz attack this fall. What a place. What a state!
Really love this new (is it new?) format of comments about the hike at the end of the video that was made directly on the trail. Feels more authentic and in a moment.
Thanks. I like that format too

This has to be your most colorful hike yet! Autumn was definitely the best time to go
You are brave! I’d never hike Glacier after dark during bear hyperphasia! Glad you made it!
watching just 3 minutes in and i'm just impressed on how all the shots looks just so beautiful allready.
The long distance shot was awesome! It really captured the scale
Glacier is also amazing and late August. There’s hardly any crowds because all the kids are back in school. I love it there
This is a tonic. Gorgeous place, gorgeous video, perfect music. Superb.
Highline Trail alone in October is crazy, mad respect dude. I'd be too afraid to do that.
This new video could not have come at a more perfect time… Thank you, Kraig!
Pure art of nature 🌿🍃

I love Glacier NP so much, I wish I planned more time to spend there when I visited last summer

You nailed it again Kraig! One of your best videos at the level of Picos, TMB, Torres del Paine and Hornstrandir to name a few.
Thats a very beautiful landscape with a nice combination of music and film. Thanks for sharing.
I hiked that loop last fall. Absolutely incredible place!🍻
I’ve been waiting for this video. Now I can plan my trip to Glacier.
One of my many inspiration
Kraig going "Zeihan on Geopolitics" with the behind the scenes. I dig it. Seems like good use of your time on trail.
Awesome scenery, Kraig! And WOW!!! 28 miles after 2-18 milers… Phew! Seems like one week later and it would have been too cold! Thanks for the video!!🙏😎❤️

Maravilloso en pantalla completa...!!!
I'm glad you respected the park and didn't use drones.
konten lu keren banget bang, gua selalu enjoy nontonnya 👏👏👏
classic adams video!
Beautiful 😊
So similar to Russian landscapes! Typical Siberia and Far East.
Fall is the best season for hiking. Really like this colors and cool air.
Your videos are put together so well. You must spend a lot of time editing.
สวัสดีจากเมืองไทยครับ 🙏😊❤ ธรรมชาติสวยงามมากๆครับ 😎✌️👍👍❤💐🇹🇭
I like the walking recaps. I kinda forgot this isn't your normal style lol

I would highly recommend hiking Cleveland, if you're into peaks.
This video truly inspires you to pack your bags and go. If you feel the same, leave a comment.
How heavy is your pack normally for hikes like this? Great vid!
My home 😍
At long last!
Is it the lens that makes the shots so good? You can see in the darknes and the light at the same time...
beautiful footage, too bad there werent any doggie friends. But really amazing footage.
i want to live this life
Your content should be viewed on a big screen! Have you ever thought about making some sort of documentary?
Amazing location. Grizzly territory. 😬
Only car in the lot... you know it's the best time to go for a hike.
Bro is a DAD. He travels with Crocs 😂
Which model is your Brooks ?
Trail vlog after the hiking video is a great idea and entertaining. 👍 Although maybe an action cam would be better for that because the mirrorless camera was really shaky 🤮
yeah agreed. I was using my 20-70mm on this hike instead of my usual 16-35mm. Handheld 16mm is much less shaky and I'll plan on that next time.
it's crazy to me how fast and far you go. Incredible stuff.
And that's with all the back and forth he does for his camera
@@green_adventures oh for sure...it's nuts
