Cpuld you actually make a video about the pre production process? Writing script, planning the shots, location scouting, casting,catering and estimated costs?

BTS is nice but I would see some commentary on how you went into preproduction and how long it took you to make this great short film trailer, until proncipal photography started.

This is a dream of any film maker who thinks he or she can make something like what you have created but unable to make that dream a reality because of financial reasons or just as an excuse not to indulge in a painful but awesome process of making a film. I am pretty sure your audience would like to know how much it cost from start till end including the rig cost , actors cost and everything. Would love to get a video on that.
Same question here. I am more interested in the preproduction process than the principal production itself.
I made a shortfilm ebtirely on Samsung Galaxy. S23 Ultra. And I am currently shooting my second shortfilm, entirely shot on a smartphone.
Если мы обратим внимание на количество техники используемой в видео - становится понятно, что проще купить нормальную камеру где будет 10 бит диапазон. Например sony zv e10m2. Я перестал снимать на смартфон именно по этой причине. Ты покупаешь аксессуары и в итоге размеры и вес становятся аналогичными как на камерах. Только вот камеры дают более качественное изображение. Алгоритмы пока не научились обманывать физику. Размер матрицы и настоящая глубина резкости так и останутся недостижимым для смартфонов

Wow, this was shot on an iphone? So many creative shots and angles! And I liked the story and cinematography more than the other action short.
Would be really cool to see how you decide which kind of shot/framing/angle you choose for a certain scenario.
Maybe as a course? I have your older gimbal course, but would be cool to see one about cinematography, directing and maybe lighting also 🙂

Sadly, skewing caused by rolling shutter is noticeable in some scenes, like 4:10 for example.
How did you do sound and how did you keep it charged 😮

Hey Brandon hi, I would like to know how you solve the lens flares effect that I-Phone 15 pro can produce.
If you mean the annoying little sparkles in the image, I’m afraid there isn’t exactly a fix. Sometimes an additional filter on the lens will spread the flare out a bit and make it look more like a big camera.
