Hi Jan, it is so true that you can have the best of cameras but if you don't know how to use them properly it doesn't do you much good. Thanks for all of these tips and tricks to get better photos of the Northern Lights. I have a I Phone 13 Pro and the camera on there is really amazing.
it's great to have camera on the phone nowadays, it's definitely come a long way since the first phones - still remember how bad my first phone was with taking photos, seeing every pixel even on that tiny screen haha

I still have my XSMax & it takes pretty good pics but I am sorely tempted to upgrade as the camera function is a top priority for me.
I think it’s really the bad lighting situations where these newer phones shine 🔥
I took a pic of nothern light in Iceland last month with iphone 11, not that great, not sure if i was not aware of any setting
I guess the phone automatically chose the settings, but im glad you got at least some shot!
