We will be coming to Iceland this December 2024! Definitely booking the Food Tour & Northern Lights Tour. Will you have the New Year’s Eve Party again this year? If so, we would love to ring in the new year Reykjavik Style! 🎉

We were there in April 2023. We finished seeing the South coast. We loved Iceland so much that we booked another trip to be there during the Christmas week to see the North coast this time. Hoping to see the Northern lights. It would be great to see more videos about visiting the North side in December and maybe seeing the active volcano as well :)

I will be in Iceland in September 2023 for a week. So excited to visit as I should have been in 2020! your ideas about Iceland travel itineraries, Icelandic phrases to learn before your trip and road trip advice is great! I'm from Scotland, so it'll be nice to experience a different culture as well as take in the beautiful views of the northern lights and landscapes! Hard to choose from the wide variety of tours haha. Hi, Thanks for making such interesting and helpful clips. Could you possible make one on what happens at Easter in Iceland? Traditions and closures? I imagine the stores and restaurants will be closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

Thanks for your comment. December is a wonderful time to visit but I have no doubt you'll love it here in February as well :))
If we receive a heavy snowstorm here in Iceland and the roads outside of Reykjavik are closed then the tour won't be able to be operated on that day and will be cancelled. You would then have the option of either receiving a full refund or rescheduling to a date with better weather where all of the roads would be open :)

Loved the video. We are coming in on the night of the 13th, then heading to the Ranga for the next 4 days. We plan on stopping into Reykjavik on our way to the hotel for lunch. Then, we are doing the food tour with you guys on our last day (the 19th). We will probably do lunch and walk around town before joining the tour. Do you have a few recommendations for where we should eat on the 14th and that afternoon before meeting up with you guys? Thank you again for the most excellent information. Skal!

January 1st is usually pretty similar to our Christmas openings (very limited) in regards to restaurants, grocery stores etc. Icelanders really celebrate on the 31st and will usually relax at home on this day 😇

The promo codes works for all of the tours on our page but not for the NYE party (I'm sorry about that!). There is little wiggle room on the pricing due to the high price of renting the venue, staff on NYE and the alcohol that's included in the ticket :( But we'd love to see you there so I hope you can make it! ❤️🥳

Great question! Yes - we're able to arrange alternatives. If you're able to have seafood then it'll be no problem at all since we have some really fantastic seafood alternatives. But if you can't have seafood then we can still make it work :)
And yes, we welcome foodies of all ages! Kids get a discounted price and I'm sure they'll love it :)
